Louis was great from start to finish , love my new car

Chris was great from start to finish, I enquired about a polo gti online and I had a call back no longer than 10 minutes later. He sent me an extremely detailed video of the car before I made my way down as I was coming from Milton keynes. We organised for me to go and test drive the car which was perfect. I ended up buying the car and was in and out within the space of an hour. Great guys down there, would recommend speaking to Chris about buying a car!

You'd think that after a car has been sitting on their lot for over a year, the dealership would jump at the chance to speak with an actual interested buyer. Apparently not.

When I first called with a simple question, they told me they "didn't have time" to check. So I called back, politely pointing out that maybe they should try a little harder to move a vehicle that's been collecting dust for that long. This time they said they'd look into it and get back to me. They never did.

Before you buy from any dealership, consider this: if they're not even willing to return a call from someone ready and willing to purchase a car from them, how much effort do you think they'll put into helping you after the sale—when you actually have a problem?

It's a pretty clear red flag for what their customer service will be like down the road

Genuinely a brilliant experience buying from cars under £3000. The service is second to none and it's a very enjoyable experience buying a car from them!!

After a horrible experience at a previous dealership carsunder 3000 was amazing. Bailey spoke to me via the phone the day before, explained what would happen and the next day met me at the dealership and made things a breeze, small things like mindless chatter on test drive made me at ease and truly was a great experience made all the better by Bailey.

I would strongly advise anyone to think twice before buying from Cars Under 3000.
I purchased a car from them in July 2025 and paid an extra £500 for a warranty, believing it would give me peace of mind. Fast forward just seven months and the car is already having serious issues, going into limp mode.
When I bought the car, I was told if there were any problems I could bring it back to them. Now that there are problems, they suddenly don’t want to look at it. I was told to take it to Halfords, as they are apparently the approved garage for the warranty — but they can’t carry out the required work. Then I was told any VAT-registered garage could do the repairs. Still no progress.
Cars Under 3000 said they would call me back to resolve this. I’m still waiting.
At this point, it feels like I paid £500 for a useless piece of paper and a car that only lasted seven months before developing faults. Extremely disappointing experience and very poor aftercare. Once they’ve got your money, don’t expect much support.
Would not recommend.

Great experience buying a used car here. Chris was great. Really helped without being pushy or putting on any pressure. He didn’t use the hard-sell at all but used his knowledge to help and advise.
