Great watch fast shipping
Great watch fast shipping, got the package in less than a week.
Had to pay the tax when the package was delivered. To make this a 5 star rating we should have the option of paying the tax up front since out of the $41.76 I had to pay DHL for the duty and tax, DHL service fee was $18.40. By the way in Canada we don't pay duty on watches only taxes.
I am recommending citywatches.ca.

I was very impressed with the selection of watches at good prices. The service was good, always letting me know how my order was progressing and answering my questions promptly and succinctly. Everything about the experience: exploring the site, viewing the watches, and ordering went smoothly. It was fun.
Tracking the watch and receiving it in days was great.
The only problem I had was not knowing I could pay the customs charge online. I thought that would happen at the door but someone more experienced at online orders probably would not have that issue. I managed it just in time! Opening the box and putting my watch on for the first time was the best.

So I was a little skeptical at first as…
So I was a little skeptical at first as citywatches.ca isn’t really a Canadian company but found lots of other good reviews and the watch I ordered was not overly expensive. Citywatches had it for half the price of the local shops I checked plus I found a 10% off on Instagram. Order was placed on Sunday and I received it the Friday.... 5 days from Singapore with free dhl shipping. Cost of order was around $275(prices are Canadian), dhl charged $31 import fees( tax, duty, brokerage). Which isn’t that bad considering the discounts and delivery time. Also I contacted customer service pre ordering just to verify stock and they responded within 24hrs which is another good thing. Thanks citywathes.ca and keep up the great work

Items as described, authentic and quick shipping, but NOT a Canadian company.
Citywatches.ca offers somewhat difficult to find watches at reasonable market prices and their service was commendable. Great communication and very straightforward shipping with DHL to Canada. Expect to pay GST+PST (you would pay the same tax if you bought in Canada), and a small DHL service fee when importing watches. I didn't have to pay any duty though. Although the website URL is .ca, it is NOT a Canadian company nor are any of the products shipped from Canada. They ship from Singapore. The website URL and wording on the site is misleading, hence why I cannot give them a full 5 star review. On the topic of the watch, I purchased a Seiko SKX013 from them. Came with all the retail packaging and the proper Seiko warranty card. This particular watch cycles through 2 languages for the day display - one in English and the other is Arabic, so if you are looking for a different English + other language combination, you should contact them first before purchasing.

Yes, I am a bit surprised and disappointed by the disingenuous wording of the site that aims to represent itself as a Canadian entity when in fact it operates out of Singapore...
But
Singapore actually has remarkable business standards and they have conducted themselves with high standards. They conducted themselves like they mean to please and keep their customers.
Response to emails was swift and my watch (a gorgeous Orient Star Elegant Classic) arrived on time, in mint working condition, with all the proper boxes + documentation and well under Canadian prices (even including the 77.73$ Canadian customs fees).
Am I satisfied? Yes
Would I shop here again? Yes
Just remember, if there is a problem with your order, assuming these folks are as good at post sale service as they are in selling us the watch, you would still need to pay for shipping the watch back and paying the customs fees twice.
In my case it was worth the risk because my watch cost half what I would need to pay in Canada. Your situation may vary.

I wanted a watch to wear alternatively from my TISSOT T-TOUCH everyday that was less technical and a little more dressy yet kept accurate time. I was intrigued by the SEIKO 6T63 Movement in this configuration and wanted to try it. I had a limited budget for this purchase so CITYWATCHES.CA pricing on SEIKO SB0095 hit all the marks. misleading company buy elsewhere
misleading company made to look Canadian but ships out of Singapore. Had to pay another 30% of the cost of the watch in duties. Would have been better off using Amazon. Buyer beware misleading trash company. I have doubts about authenticity of the product also.

Good prices, quality watches.
I find that the reviews that say CityWatches are a rip off are from people who don't read the shipping terms. I am very happy with my Orient Defender watch and even with shipping cost it was a good deal. I would use them again. Don't base your decision to purchase from this company on the misguided review of people who refuse to use due diligence before a purchase.
