My pepper mill broke after less than 2 years and I informed customer services. They replied promptly and replaced it within a few days - even better, they replaced it with both a pepper mill and a salt grinder! I was very happy with this result, thank you!

I was initially disappointed to find that one of my Marlow Natural Acacia Salt & Pepper Mills (H322225) had a fault with the mechanism. However, the experience that followed completely turned things around.

I couldn’t have asked for better customer service from Cole & Mason. After explaining the issue and following their simple process for assessment, I was delighted to receive an email confirming that a replacement would be sent out.

First impressions, well presented, impressive packaging and surprised that the mills came complete with both salt and pepper. Easy to use and makes a nice change to be able to choose the finish size of the grindings

I purchased a set of Horsham mills in 2025 and unfortunately the salt mill presented with a fault in March of this year. I contacted customer service and was replied to the following day. After supplying information regarding the fault etc the customer service team again replied promptly and a replacement mill was sent. Quality products and a fabulous customer service team!

I contacted Cole & Mason customer services (DKBH UK) following a minor issue with the grinder mechanism on a pepper mill. It was confirmed that this was covered under their "lifetime guarantee" and a matching replacement grinder provided. All very straightforward and most helpful. Thank you.

My pepper mill, which had stopped working, but had a lifetime guarantee, replaced within a day or two.

I’ve had a set of Flip mills for a few years and noticed a crack had appeared in the chrome band, leaving the top insecure. I reached out to Cole & Mason and after answering a few questions and sending some photographs they have confirmed a replacement item will be in the post. Superb customer service. Already recommend their products and will continue to rave about their after service.

24 years and a month ago my wife and I were given a pair of Cole & Mason salt/pepper mills for our wedding. After 21 years these died and, without any hesitation, we were back to John Lewis to buy replacements of the same brand... unaware, then, of the lifetime warranty on the grinding parts that had failed.

Fast forward 4 years and our new pepper grinder started to misbehave and when it was nearly empty we noticed that a small component in the grinding mechanism had failed. With 21 years being our "should last this long" reference to beat I looked up what the warranty said and found that the griding mechanism is covered for life.

I contacted Cole & Mason UK Customer Service Team who replied within a day, apologising that our model was no longer current but offering a full RRP voucher so I could visit their online store and order a replacement pair (even though only one was broken).

I know that we backed a good brand and was more than happy spending the voucher and 'upgrading' with £40 extra to the second-from-top-end Derwent precision mills.

Katie and Phoebe understood the mission and I found a complementary refill for the salt and pepper - an early silver anniversary gift! 😊

I LOVE when a lifetime warranty is worth its salt. Cole & Mason belong in a very special group of brands that I am very happy paying the premium to use, and encourage others to do the same.

The extra tall Salt & Pepper mills are just great. They look good in the kitchen and on the dining table and are fully adjustable to dispense just the right amount of salt and pepper.
