Ordered an Important part for my Trek, a day and a half later part arrived via the post man. Faultless help and service. I wouldn’t hesitate in using these people again. Fully recommend these guys.

The service in that shop was exceptional. Me and my wife were looking for our new mtb bikes for last couple of months. Unfortunately we not able to find the right shop and most of the time we were not even offering the test drive to find if the bike is the right fit for us.
Not anymore as we found shop which will end our endless search for our new bikes. We were treated very professionally. i would recommend Cookson cycles to anyone - you wont be disappointed.

I’ve just got two bikes on the cycle to work scheme from the store in whitefield and I have to say it was a pleasure, they made the whole thing very simple, the staff were excellent, I ordered a bike that was too big and they recommended a smaller size and they were absolutely right, it wasn’t a trouble for them and they built the right size bike the same day, very knowledgeable, any help they could give was offered without asking and they were genuinely friendly, to top it off I have then found an email confirming my registration to a lifetime warranty with the manufacturer of the bikes that they have done for me without me asking, first class staff in this store.

I have brought another trek bike. Brought my second one from the Cookson Dealership in Whitehall, Manchester. They were absolutely wonderful. They know their stuff and they didn't try and sell me any extras but I brought a good bike lock anyway. My bike was all set up and ready to go. I brought a Marlin 5 Gen 2. What a bike and at great value. Cheaper than anywhere else. Thank you guys for be truely amazing 👏 But it wasn't the price I went for but the mechanics of the bike. I would have brought a dearer bike. And Treks are a great bike for sure. Go into the shop because they are fantastic to talk to.

High level of service. The team are polite, have a good level of communication and are all round professional. An easy recommendation.

Considering I have had difficulties as a newbie to cycling, they have been incredibly patient and understanding with me.

Needed a belt drive tightening and despite not having worked on my brand of ebike before, they quickly figured it all out and had me back on the road in no time. Staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and are not out to rip you off. They’d rather make a lasting good impression over a quick buck.

I originally phoned because they had a Trek Rail 7 in stock but I missed it by ten minutes. They phoned me back and said they could have me one in a month. Very honest about the whole ordering so paid a small deposit and given a date and said I could check up on the date at any time.
Phoned after a couple of weeks and the arrival date was staying the same.
A week later I get a call it’s arrived, asked my weight so could set up the suspension. Mentioned about getting a wrap from Shackwrap to protect the bike . Pay Shackwrap direct so Cookson arranged delivery and collection straight away. Worth getting the wrap if you get offered it , day later it’s back in the shop checked , greased , wrapped and posted . Two days later it’s at my door boxed and wrapped so securely it was beyond belief.

Couldn’t recommend them enough and all my mates are still waiting on delivery and broken promises from local bike shops.

Ordered a Marlin 8 trek bike. Good service and links provided to a finance partner. Competitive prices. Had to wait for the bike to be in stock due to demand and shortage but worth the wait. Delivery safe and well packaged. Watch a few you tube videos to aid construction and set up of the bike and ensure you have a torque wrench suited for bikes. Alternatively take to a bike store and pay for them to build the bike. Stunning marlin 8 in blue.

After growing up near Cookson Cycles 20-30 years ago, I've finally gone in and bought a bike!
I was always hesitant as a teenager as I thought with it being such a serious bike shop, and me being inexperienced with bikes and a big lad, I'd be looked down on or something. What a mistake I'd made! The staff are brilliant. They guided me through everything I needed to know and the process was a dream.
First was the actual sale/ordering. The young man helped me choose a bike and wasn't pushy with upgrading to more expensive models or anything.
Secondly was the communication between ordering in store and collecting. The emails were responded to quickly, clearly, politely and accurately.
Then there was collection. I haven't touched a bike in nearly 20 years and Paul was really polite, respectful and understanding that I needed to be talked through everything. He helped me understand everything from the tyres up and even helped me get out of the shop it in the car despite it being pretty busy. A really nice guy.
Things couldn't have gone better and I have full trust that in the event I need any help with anything, I can just give them a call.
The bike is absolutely brilliant. Set up in full on arrival. It's worlds apart from anything I've ridden in the past. It's exhilarating! It feels like flying! I should have done this years ago.
10/10 for Cookson Cycles. The sale was perfect start to finish.
