We had the pleasure of having Amanda’s help in acquiring a mortgage in March 2026.
As it was our first time applying for a joint mortgage and selling a property I myself owned we had numerous questions about the process. Amanda was incredibly patient and extremely responsive in answering all of our queries.
She went above and beyond in securing us the best mortgage offer available on the market at that time. Rates were due to go up and Amanda made us aware of the need for urgency in submitting all documentation which led to us securing an extremely desirable rate.
She went through all different options for two properties we were looking at.
Unfortunately the chain fell through on the property we acquired a mortgage for and we are unlikely to be in a position to be ready to exchange before the deadline of our current mortgage application so we will be contacting Amanda again to see if she can help us again!

We have used Peter Stokes for our mortgages for about 30 years. He has always been excellent. Recently he helped us with a remortgage. He was , as ever, very helpful, quick and efficient. He gave us very sound advice and was very helpful in related matters , yet did not stray outside his sphere of operations. He has helped 2 of our children with their first mortgages and they are equally satisfied.
For our most recent remortgage his secretary responded instantly and effectively to sort out a tiny query that we had.

We were recommended to DD by a colleague and we worked with Brian Keane to get a mortgage for a second home in Wales, where we plan to spend most of our time post retirement. Brian and the team at DD were excellent to work with, always on the ball to help provide high quality advice and guidance. Phone calls and e:mails were responded to, mostly directly on the day or by follow-up soon after, with proactive chasing of the mortgage provider where necessary.

Amanda and the team were very attentive, supportive and the transaction to re-mortgage was all very simplified and easy to work with.
