Brilliant service

Brilliant service. I only ordered my sandals on Saturday afternoon and they arrived by lunchtime on Monday. The sandals are great and true to the description. Have used Deichmann previously and they are just as good this time. Thank you.

Really good value, but customer service needs a lot of work. Bought sandals today and after a lengthy wait - one on till dealing with a buyer complaint, the other a little flustered, I finally got served. You advertise discount for NHS workers but refuse Blue Card? This was fine, bit no bag offered, and box shoved to edge of till. Cursory politeness at best.

Ordered online as there is no store remotely close to my home .
Peppa pig sandals arrived in a ripped dented and battered box . My granddaughter really wanted the box and the sandals but as no further in stock I’ve had to keep them . Poor customer service as it was packed like this .

Staff slammed my change in front of my child

I had a very disappointing experience at this shop today in Eastbourne while buying a pair of shoes. From the moment I walked in, there was no help or greeting from any staff. The only person around was a large-built man with an unkempt beard who looked more like a disgruntled customer than an employee. He stood behind the till giving everyone dirty looks—honestly, I didn’t even realise he worked there until he stepped up to serve.

I found my own size without help and went to the till, where this same man served me. He didn’t greet me—I had to say “hi” first. He processed the payment, asked if I needed anything else, to which I replied no thank you. He then said thank you and handed me my receipt.

I stood there for a moment, expecting to be offered a bag, which is common courtesy in most shops. Since he didn’t offer one, I asked, “Can I get a bag, please?” That’s when the attitude started. He snapped, “I asked if there’s anything else,” implying that my request was unreasonable. I responded that I didn’t think asking for a bag fell under that question. He then remarked, “Most people bring their own bag,” to which I replied, “And most people buy bags—offering them is part of customer service.”

Instead of handling the situation with professionalism, he slammed my change down on the counter—right in front of my young child, with two other customers watching. Disgusting behaviour, and completely unacceptable.

As a business owner myself, I’m genuinely shocked someone like this was hired. Customer service is the face of your business, and this man clearly doesn’t want to be there, let alone treat customers with basic respect. Meanwhile, there are so many people out there who are desperate to work and would do a far better job.

If management cares at all, I suggest you review your CCTV footage @ around 16:00pm. The proof is all there.

Excellent service

Excellent customer service Sarah and Ryan went out of there way to find the right shoes for my feet, very polite and friendly,absolutely brilliant service, and explained to me I can walk up down inside for a few weeks to get used to the shoes and if I dont get on with them I can bring them back, because my normal shoes I can't get in my size

Well what went right is the question 🤔 …

Well what went right is the question 🤔 After purchasing 2 pair of sketchers slip ons one being white I paid for that pair to be put through their protection machine as was told this would keep them repellent of dirt, rain and salt and protects from bleaching from the sun, But after two days of normal wear they look like this? So the question is why are my trainers looking like this????? Rather dirty, Pity I couldn't include a photo

Great company

Never had a bad experience with Deichmann, whether it's in the shop or online their staff are very wecoming, friendly and helpful. Decent selection of schoes and accessories. Delivery prompt and full tracking available. Prices are okay for quality compared to other stores and they do offer regular discounts as well.

Very poorly made boots

I seriously don't know what has happened to Deichmann, they used to be good quality but not anymore. I shall definitely not be buying from them ever again. My most recent purchase from them is a pair of boots & within a few short months they're falling apart. I've only worn them about a dozen times & the sole on the right one is flapping right open. I emailed Deichmann but have been totally ignored, typical just like MOST companies today they take your money & then they're not interested or bothered in the slightest that they've sold you shoddy, inferior rubbish. I think they must have changed their supplier to be turning out such utter tat. Don't bother people wasting your money & go elsewhere like I intend to.

Still not received my order

Still not received my order, looks like evri have lost it. Deichmann being really unhelpful have taken my money and won’t send another pair out, waiting for the useless evri to reply won’t be ordering from them again !

Customer service useless

Ordered two pairs of different girls school shoes. I was sent an odd pair which didn’t match. I didn’t notice this myself for several weeks after the order due to them looking quite similar and she had been wearing the other pair.
Customer service is a waste of time. No help. Looking at previous reviews I Can see this is a regular occurrence. Now left with an odd pair of shoes which I have no use for.

I have placed a few ordered here…

I have placed a few ordered here recently including a pair of shoes for my 1 year old daughter. After one wear (not even a few hours) the shoes started to come apart from the soles.
I sent an email asking if I can send them some images of the shoes and get a refund. The images (along with my order details, as I only collected them 1 week earlier) do show that the shoes are practically brand new, yet are coming apart already.
“Customer services” (when they eventually replied) were very unhelpful and asked me to return them to store or via Evri for a refund. I said that I don’t see why I should make a special trip to trip to store, which is not exactly local, when I can show in the images how poor quality the shoes were, and how they were falling to pieces.
I was then told that I still have to return the shoes.
So now, I will return the shoes, along with every other order I have placed with them recently, and will shop elsewhere in future.

Two different trainers

Placed an order with Deichmann ( Nike Trainers ) and when the order arrived it was completely two different trainers, so was disappointed but refund was very prompt.
