I'd rather a no star so i had a hospital appointment today at sandwell general i arrived at the bus stop on Hampstead road just after the flyover at 11.05 and waited 40 minutes the time table said 11.12 but no bus so couldn't make my appointment 🤬

Diamond have taken over or local service, in that time I have lodged 3 complaints. 1 of charging double the fare and 2 of rude drivers. The promise of a refund never happened as the promise of vouchers in the post was then followed up with we don't do vouchers. The other 2 rude drivers apparently it was my daughters fault on one occasion and they refused to reply to the other. If they had made a mistake explain that but to condone grown men shouting sarcastic comments at young ladies. This is the trouble with a monopoly, you have no choice but to use them.
ABYSMAL IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT
This company just gets worse and worse! Please oh please somebody put another company, (not Rotala!) in charge of the Bolton to Manchester route, (number 8). Over an hour stood at the bus stop again in Kearsley this morning, two buses "sorry out of service" passed then a jam packed single decker number 8 finally turned up and crawled into Manchester. The Diamond app never mentioned delays whatsoever. This city is always banging on about cutting pollution and getting people onto public transport? HAHAHAHAHA is all i can say to that! I'll be taking my, (diesel), car from now on, it's only 2 quid dearer per day to park if you get an early bird spot, and you are guaranteed your car will turn up!

what horrible horrible drivers. i e had many disgusting experiences with diamond bus drivers but today being the worst!! i’ve been sat at a bus station for an hour waiting for a bus to come with no way home the bus came up the street and as i stuck my arm out drove completely past me leaving me stranded

Consistently late or no-show especially for the scheduled buses at around 4pm and 11pm.
Very dreadful for students who are trying to be on-time for classes and those who want to get home safely after evening events.

Shocking !!! Once again up to a 1 hour wait for 1 bus that is supposed to be every 10 minutes !! EVERY DAY teatime ( rush hour ) everyone finishing work and there nevcer seems to be a 36. or 37, in swinton heading towards bolton !! Once again 90 mins to get home in what is normally a 15 min journey !! how they get away with this !! @ Diamond its obvious why you charge so little for the " super saver " for 3 selected bus !! because there is None thats why !!! if you can avoid these and use another bus service Then do so

Buses are never on time. Their service is the worst in the city. It’s been a disgraceful service from the company and its drivers. Can’t rely on their service. Don’t use it!
Awful drivers are rude and racist
Awful drivers are rude and racist. Always do not listen to you and charge you for a monthly ticket instead of a day ticket. Untrained staff. Always late and the buses break down at least once a week. Bring back arriva please. Only the polish drivers are friendly and not racist. Locals drivers are vile and drive very unsafe. Drivers do not tolerate disabled or the elderly does not put step / ramp down. Beware I will walk to be honest.

In the South East region buses…
In the South East region buses regularly break down are unexpectedly cancelled and sometimes run early!!!! So you miss them. The 458 in particular.
The bus tracker is unreliable as apparently drivers can switch it off.

The number 8 bus Bolton to Manchester was a great service till these jokers took over. Three bus journeys a month all of them getting progressively worse. Break down half way driver sits in cab. Doesn’t tell anyone leaving passengers thinking it’s one of their normal let’s just stay at this stop for ten mins. No bus for an hour. Then one turns up full. No explanation. The app is useless and diamond buses are the reason people refuse to use public transport. 3 pay the parking fees a month for me till the new company takes over in April. I am glad you lost the contract you are a disgrace. Bum hole elbow. Drinking session in a brewery etc etc

Has got to be without doubt THE worst bus company I have ever had the misfortune to need to use. Always late, if they show up at all. Rude if not sometimes aggressive drivers. Basically echoing all the previous reviews. This company needs to fold or TfGM need to withdraw the franchise and give it to a company that can fulfil its remit. Give the public the service it requires and pays for. A shambles of a company!

I'm 62 & disabled on a walking crutch my friend who was with me in her 70s & disabled with COPD catching the bus at minster Rd stourport to Kidderminster no:3 9.33am bus arrived 2 ppl got on we was half a length of the bus cause we was walking to the bus stop when it came so he must of seen us he drove of before we got to the door same thing coming back 11.30 walking to the Kidderminster bus station I was afew yards away the bus had left the bus stop I put my hand up to him he acknowledged me with a nod of his head saying no he had NOT left the station its a disgrace no customer thoughtfulness to those who are disabled might let the shuttle paper know bus service towards customers gone down hill

Wanted to catch a number 3 from Stourport to Kidderminster at lunchtime on 19/1/23. The scheduled bus never arrived and neither did the next one. I finally caught a bus 45 mins later. Very poor service which seems very common for this company.
