This is a scam! 2 years paying for advertising space and not one phone call! Then when I tried to leave they said I have to give 18months notice.. Now i have to deal with bailifs. SCAM

There needed to be a couple adjustments with the advertisement but they were resolved in a timely manner. It has been a good experience working with Direct Digital.

We pre-paid for two year advertising for a local medical office in August 2024. The advertisement was to include 2, 15 second commercials on 2 kiosks at a local resort, as well as written/scannable QR codes with access to our website and company information. Sadly, our location was completely destroyed by Hurricane Milton in October of 2024. Despite, no longer being able to operate out of this location, this company refused to cancel/refund the money for the contract. Additionally, we have seen no evidence that our advertisements are even running. I'm local to the resort and have not seen any of our advertisement running as we paid for. I am continuing to communicate with this company to allow them to mitigate all of these concerns, and will update my review IF they end up supplying evidence of the advertisements currently being ran. If they cannot or do not supply this evidence I will be contacting my attorney and the BBB to make a formal claim. At this time (and for the past 5 months) it seems that this is a total scam, and I wish I would've taken the time to read all the reviews already about this company. I have already submitted termination of the contract for any renewal, but am hoping they come through and do the right thing by supplying the evidence that this advertisement is being implemented. I will update this review in the future if/when this has been remedied.

A video in a GP 👨🏻‍⚕️ practice was set up . It last approx 30 seconds and costs 137£ / month . It has generated no leads and is practically utterly useless for business purposes . Additionally there have been administrative annoyances . I would not recommend the services of this company .

Really good advert was made for me and my small buisness! Very happy with the quality and for the cost too! Definitely recommend and lovely member of staff who I spoke too

This is a terrible company. The salesman is predatory and lied about multiple aspects of the system. I was told that I would be the only person from my field advertising within each location but recently found out that there are multiple other people from the same industry advertising at the same time. I was told that my ads would be live a few weeks after signing up but it took at least 3 months. There was no communication and I was not even informed of when the ads were live, I had to repeatedly contact them to find this out.

I was told that I would pay quarterly for the contract but payments started coming out monthly, which was significant hit to my small business cash flow. When I complained this was amended for future payments but my money that was prematurely paid was not refunded.

I have had no leads from these ads, as expected. I was unfortunately targeted whilst vulnerable and heavily pregnant and felt coerced by their aggressive sales methods and false promises.

This company should be shut down, I will be reporting them to the relevant regulatory body. Avoid at all costs and spend your money on another ad strategy, such as google ads, that actually works.

DO NOT GET SUCKED IN! I like many others did not get a chance to read the reviews on this company due to aggressive salesman, before I knew it I had signed a 2 year contract for a service I couldn’t afford. I tried to cancel the contract after waiting over 2 months for anything to happen but was told I couldn’t. I have now had to close my business as I ran out of money and have no clients and the digital advertising has not brought me one client in 6 months, however, I have been told I still have to pay or that they will be taking legal action against me. This company has no morals, I will do everything in my power to stop anyone else being scammed like this, I have already posted warning on all local pages and urge other victims to do the same.

Terrible terrible company. After 2 weeks won't let us cancel our contract even though nothing has been done for our advert.
A cooling off period should allow for a change of mind. Our aggressive sales person forced us to sign this contract otherwise I think he might have moved in.
Bitterly disappointed that in this day an age you cannot change your mind. We are a small business and this decision to invest was forced upon us.
Customer service do not help, they just bark contract details to you. Trading standards say that businesses with aggressive sales tactics should be reported, this is being done. Avoid, avoid, avoid.....

I wish I could turn back time and read the reviews on here. Sadly I did not and like many other people was misled and signed into a 2 year contract which even after several complaints and issues regarding screen location they will not break my contract early.

We are having a ongoing dispute over the location of one of these screens playing my advertisement. None of them can tell me when it is located on site and I even went in to ask reception at the GP. They could not tell me either. They have an image of it so I am assuming a random corridor but they are definitely not in the waiting room and people are definitely not seeing it.

As stated by several others false promises by the sales team. DO NOT LISTEN TO HIM.

Worse marketing mistake I have made so far in my business. Read the reviews and do not throw money down the drain, which is what you will be doing by signing up.

UPDATE: As you can see from the reply the placement of the screens is not important. Appears they can put the screen in the cupboard and still claim your money. Well more fool me for trusting them to have my marketing interests as a priority.

We have been using the digital advert since last 5 years, recently the advert location got changed to a different area. Contacted Pooja Nadgauda from Customer Service team, she went above and beyond and resolved the matter with satisfactory outcome. Highly recommended.

Direct Digital went above and beyond from start to finish in assisting SKN with regards to our advertising needs, appreciation to Danny Morley and the rest of the management team I liaised with, highly recommended them.

Terrible product/ service, or just a full blown scam? Heres my experience.

TLDR? -Main points:
-Zero proof of ads being live provided.
-No sales made in over 16 months.
- I have tracked any interaction with my ads via trackable QR codes and there were ZERO interactions.
-Advert placement just isn't worth it.

Firstly, they know they aren't providing a quality service as the person on the phone did seem a tad embarrassed by the zero proof of services rendered being offered.

Direct digital offer to create videos for you, which they will do quickly and to a useable standard but they are by no means high quality. They are all outsourced to places where English isn't a primary language which results in constant written errors on videos.
You will be called up in the early set up phase to give 5 star feedback on the service SO FAR. Looking at the reviews, this is to combat all the 1 star reviews. Which are totally understandable.

I am no stranger to spending money on advertising. But i've zero scans on the trackable QR codes I attached to my ad videos and this simply does not happen in any other route we have taken.

I was offered 2 locations for the price of 1 over a 2 year contract. I agreed to it all as it was affordable to us. It is NOT affordable to the average Sole trader if it yields zero results.

What really baffles me is this. I was given NO PROOF that my adverts were even active! That is crazy, to pay out for something with no proof that the product is performing or that it even exists.

I took this one on the chin as a lesson not to use any services that use limited time frames for you to accept their offers.

Edit: After writing this initially I have made contact with one of the locations to find that advertising is present. However the fact remains that my advert is not being interacted with and certainly no sales from that location have resulted. I would need to attend the site myself (impractical) to see where the screen is placed as I am left questioning if the details of the adverts are even being seen.

In theory this is a good service and the early phase of the services went smoothly but the results just aren't there for most people to justify the cost. The 2 year contract is just an outdated bullying tactic to maintain income when standards of operation are just low.

Evaluation: This product is genuine, but not worth paying for in experience. They should not in good conscience continue at this low standard.

DO NOT BELIEVE ANY OF THE 5 star reviews. They ring you as soon as you sign up and send a link for you to ‘review’ how amazing their sales team is and how happy you are…. Little do you know you’ve been scammed!!!!! By the time you find out you can’t write another review.
I complained got nowhere. Wrote a review of what happens stating the truth and was called and threatened to take it down. Said if I write a 5 star review now they will do something to make things better (conned and lied too! Signed a 2 year contract and wasn’t told this. Lied to to say if I signed today I’d be the only company in the whole of the borough to advertise… another lie there were 2 others! Also told £20per month…. It was £84!!!! Stuck for 2 years they have had 2 years of my hard earned cash for no return!!!!! Not a single customer from them. THIEVING

Complete scam. Dodgy lying salesman came to my small business told a heap of lies to get me to sign a contract and then I was tied in to a useless contract I was told I wasn’t allowed to end (I rang within 30 days to cancel as I’d been misled!) threatened with court. 2 year and never had a single customer!!!!! DO NOT USE. THIS COMPANY MUST BE PUT OUT OF BUSINESS. Using the lowest of the low salesman who steal from small businesses then never answer the phone to you again then a foreign call centre will take over and threaten you if you try and cancel.

SCAMMERS.

Absolute rip off. Tied into a contract and was conned. Told the only company in my area on the advertising board - this was a lie. Then told no VAT rhos was also a lie. Teeny tiny print MAKE SURE YOU READ IT DO NOT TRUST THE DODGY SALES PEOPLE. NEVER WVER USE THIS COMPANY. ALL FOREIGN WHEN YOU CALL AND VERY DIFFICULT TO UNDERSTAND!

I was offered partnership and told it would be a 8 week project. Not 1 person has contacted me in regards ironically after they took.over $900.

Our experience with Direct Digital has been nothing short of appalling. We were misled during the sales process with overpromised results and assurances that turned out to be completely false. Despite their claims, we received absolutely no value from their advertising service—not a single result.

To make matters worse, their customer service is shockingly poor. When we raised concerns, instead of acknowledging the disappointing service, they were dismissive and unapologetic. It’s clear they’re more focused on securing payments than delivering on their promises.

I fully understand that advertising doesn’t guarantee results, but this wasn’t just underperformance—it was a complete failure. Based on our experience and the numerous other negative reviews, I believe what they are selling is nothing but a scam.

Business owners, beware: save your money and avoid the headache. Do your research and steer clear of Direct Digital.

Scan scam scam. Over promise and under deliver. So much wasted money. I have asked to be out of this contract a million times but it's iron clad. DO NOT SIGN

Ordered and paid for advertising and they never answer the phone or get back to you. Horrible customer service and lies.
