They come and tell you that their company has been watching yours and how well you are doing, that they see your amazing reviews online and that they have selected your company from all the others! And they are offering a great opportunity and cooperation, and that they will advertise your business in various huge institutions that most people use and trust, which is why they chose your company because yours is worthy and respected ladida...... After all, not just anyone advertises in those certain public institutions, right? Then they hand you a contract and pressure you to sign, talking a lot, moving a lot and walking around and taking pictures for the advertisement.
Believe me, there will be no advertisements and no cooperation, only bullying and extorting money for work promised but never done.
Vicious manipulation, that's what Direct Digital is all about.
Don't let them fool you!

From being misled by salesman in the first instance, to repeated technical issues that remain unfixed for months and months, screens that do not work correctly or are positioned in places that might as well be in a cupboard. It was sold as great marketing tool but has actually turned out to be a waste of money. It is unfortunate that I am unable to to rank it as zero stars as that is what it should be. I hope all small businesses that have had the misfortune to sign up with Direct Digital go and check the screens regularly just to ensure that what they have been told should be happening to promote their business is actually happening.

Read the 1-stars, heed the warnings
As many others have said, the kiosk they put your advertisement on might as well be a closet. You will get no business from them and their agreements are written in a way to keep you paying. The advertisements they “design” are a joke and they give no options to cancel. Do not trust these people with your business. And before you ask in the comments, 1926 is the account number. I even created a webpage with my own dollars to keep people away. If you’ve signed a contract and have a cancellation period, exercise that option now. Out a little money now is better than the alternative. I could not in good conscience run a business that operates this way.

If I could, I would definitely give below 0 star rating. This company is a scam! Do not let them foul you. They'll just take your money for absolutely nothing!!
The communication with them is awful, they take ages to get the advert right. I would honestly make a better one on canva.
The price you pay for what you get is waaayyy too high!!!
I'm extremely frustrated and disappointed.
I'm a new business and I just don't understand how can people try to use up others innocence without any hesitation.

ZERO STARS. A complete fraud. We signed up at the end of August to have our company featured at the Hyatt House in Indianapolis. We met Callum on site to talk through option and selected our spot for 2 years. So far we are out our deposit and a few months of charges. We received artwork towards the beginning of September, and had some feedback at that time to make improvements. Since then, we have requested multiple times for status updates on our video advertisement and the data we were promised as far as analytics. None of that happened. We've tried calling Shareen where the call just goes to a random voicemail box. Nothing whatsoever has been provided since then and we are months into our contract. WHICH by the way, let's talk about this contract. It auto-renews after the contracted period which was never discussed, and you have to provide written letter to cancel 18 months in advance (which we will be doing). We have our lawyer helping us with this. Trying to sue someone for breach of contract would cost more than the value of the contract which I'm sure these fraudsters know, so shame on them for preying on others. This company should be shut down and these folks should be in prison for what they do to innocent people doing what they feel will benefit their company by getting advertising set up. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. We will be having our lawyer file the letter to cancel in the state of incorporation (Texas) and cutting off payment for not delivering on THEIR contractual obligation. We have all our email and phone records, so I'm not worried. Complete, utter scam. I'm sorry to see so many others have experienced the same thing.

Unprofessional. Steer clear of Jamie & Callum, they'll cancel on you last minute without explanation and never respond again. Really terrible experience and cannot imagine this is a good company given these are the customer facing people.
EDIT UPDATE on 11/18: I discovered the reason I was dropped and ghosted by Jamie & Callum. They signed a competitor (who happens to be a colleague). The professional way to respond is not to blow up my phone (while I am working) without leaving a VM, cancel last second without explanation and ghost me on follow ups. The professional response is to tell me you signed a competitor and ask if I have interest in future projects as the competitor secured category exclusivity. Normal situation. I was too slow to sign the deal, not the end of the world. However, their way of handling it was just wildly unprofessional.
You can pretend all you like that this did not happen, but it honestly proves my point about your company. Unprofessional. Unaccountable.

AVOID. You will unlikely make any money on investment
YOU WILL UNLIKELY MAKE ANY OF THIS FINANCIAL INVESTMENT BACK IN NEW SALES.
I saw No return on investment for my business.
Better to spend money on targeted Facebook/Instagram campaigns.
Avoid. Not one new client came from their “advertising screens”.
What irritated me the most: Second year payment demanded with threats to record as a debt if not paid within 7 days. Didn’t even get a first bill (see below):
“ We write with regards to the agreement in place and an outstanding balance on your account.
To bring your account up to date a payment is required in the amount of £1165.00 within the next seven days.
Failure to make payment within the stated time, a late payment charge of £20.00 (per invoice outstanding), will be applied.
May we also bring to your attention, that non-payment will result in your account being escalated through Debt Recovery Team, which will affect your credit score.
If you are having difficulty in making payment, please contact myself, as soon as possible, to discuss payment options. “
Avoid, don’t sign anything don’t return the calls. It’s snake skin oils salesmanship.

(Apologies the initial review was written in the heat of the moment when I received a ‘final warning email’ out of the blue whilst on holiday. I have just scanned all my mail boxes and checked with my staff: no prior warning letter.
So in a more calm state: I would simply say, I don’t advise using this company as you will get far more benefits from FB/Insta advertising. Since writing to the company I have received no response. It seems only by using this platform that I got any engagement.
In summary: avoid.
Now on 31st I supplied the account information. I expected an apology or at least an invoice to pay, which then can be used in my tax returns:
“Further to your email,
To clarify you have not received any previous email, as this is the first communication you will receive, when an invoice becomes over due for payment.
When an invoice becomes over due for payment your account will be passed to credit control to contact you directly by phone but due to no contact a voicemail was left and an email will be sent to you to notify you of the outstanding balance. This will then honour you a further 7 days to pay the balance to prevent any late payments fees. This is our company debt process, which we have in place to ensure payments are met to prevent further escalation.
Your account is not active with mark currently, as it has been passed to myself in credit control due to the unpaid invoice. Once payment is received your account will be closed from credit control and you will then be referred back to mark in customer care, if you have any further queries.
I have attached your contract for peace of mind to ensure you are satisfied that this is a genuine email.
I can call you directly and take a card payment and set up your card for any future payments, if you can confirm a date and time, which would be best for you?”
I have requested an invoice first. Which I then would have 14 - 28 days to pay. No invoice and No apology and a suggestion that I would want to keep a payment method on file for future fees.

Report to Watchdog FALSE ADVERTISING
Almost two years ago, a salesperson from Direct Digital visited my business, offering advertising services on screens in three local medical centres. While I told him I’d consider it, I never signed a contract. He continued to call/message and pressure me, and eventually, I agreed verbally without at any point being made aware it’s a two year contract or seeing the contract. I was then put in touch with their design team, whose advert was of poor quality, so I had my own team redesign it.
My team and I frequently visited the health centres, only to find the screens off or the advert not showing, yet we continued to be billed. This went on for some time, and after I called their customer service line, I was met with sarcasm, abruptness, and dismissiveness, to be told I am on a two year contract. This strange behaviour prompted me to dig deeper, and I discovered that many other small businesses had fallen victim to this misrepresented advertising service. That’s when I decided to take action and reported, reported!. If we all join forces and report to Trading Standards, Action Fraud and Watchdog hopefully someone will listen. People all over the world are falling victim to this and some have had their money back and in some countries they are not allowed to trade, not sure why the UK is allowing it?
In July, I informed them via email that I was ceasing direct debits, due to dissatisfaction with their service, and I followed through.
While I was on vacation, they sent a money claim, which I did not see till it was past the date when it can get contested, but the court responded and attached forms to their reply which I am now completing and filing with the Court with my solicitors help. Yesterday, debt collectors arrived at my business, intimidating my employees and threatening to seize my clients' items. At that moment I was at Head Office and my hands were shaking as he was raising his voice towards me on the telephone, so when I paid the bailiff fee it went through twice to Direct Collection Bailiffs Ltd. Whilst I was on the phone trying to pay his fee, the amount sent by him on a text message went up from £6484.83 to £7337.83 in a matter of 2 minutes. This company has now cost my business over £15k and I intend to claim it all back. They are hoping that no one has the guts or the funds to go for them, but they messed with the wrong woman this time! Please, I promise you, lets join forces and bring these people down, report to watchdog immediately.
