Ordered a dress that looked NOTHING like the image. Alterations would've costed me and arm and leg because of how awful the dress was designed. Reached out to support about a return within the 14 day time frame of receiving it, and have not heard back. This business is predatory and needs shut down immediately.

I sure wish I would have read these reviews before we ordered a dress from here. We ordered a size based off their chart and it came and was HUGE!
We are now faced with ridiculous return fees and return shipping charges. So much for trying to save money. Beware! They deduct $45 from your return for a shipping charge. If this would have been clearly stated in their policy I NEVER would have ordered from here. Save your money, go to a bridal shop and pay more upfront. At least you’ll know what you’re getting!

Unless you want to spend more money on costly alterations,DO NOT buy from here! I bought a dress from Dorris Wedding for 20th Wedding Anniversary Celebration in which husband and I are going to renew our vows...I have spent more time trying to fix this dress than looking forward to celebration. It does not look as pictured, was longer on one side, was not made to my custom size, which was extra cost...the tulle layers are ALL uneven and in places there is so much of it it doesn't make sense...this dress was a horrible learning experience...the cost to have it altered is more than the dress...I'm days away from ceremony and extremely frustrated!!!

Loved the dress and fast and great! Very very nice quality.

What a scam. Horrible dress - it looked absolutely NOTHING like the picture. No refund. They told me to send it back for a full refund. It cost double what I paid for the dress to send it back to China (I didn't realize it was from China). DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!

These merchants should be shut down immediately. They are fraudulent. The picture of the dress is nowhere near what was sent. It is so laughably different, 2 feet longer, heavy material, cheap fabric, yellow color, not even the same sleeve style, I could go on and on. I don’t know what I can do but I have contacted them and probably will not hear a response. Just to be aware and know that you are not getting anything like what is pictured online.

I thought I had done my research, but, alas, I like the others who have reviewed this have had to file an investigation into the transaction and cancel my credit card.
The picture they use on the website is from another designer (the same picture is on the JuneBridals website which is stamped with a copyright on the site... so that's IP theft from someone) and what they send is less than $30 of fabric. Because they tell you not to claim more than $30 of value when you have to inevitably return it. BUT WAIT they don't cover the cost of shipping from and back to China, which adds up to more than the cost of what you initially paid.
So they know what they're doing. Very smart if you want to take other people's money.
I broke out in hives after I thought it would be funny to go ahead and try on the dress, probably just because the tulle they used for the lace part feels like plastic and I have sensitive skin.
Maybe I can donate this to a local theatre group or something.
Anyway, it's not the silhouette or fabric that I ordered based on the image, and the only response from customer service so far has been (with smiley faces) "you can return the dress within the time frame." No apologies for sending me an entirely wrong dress. Because they knew that.

I saw a picture of my dream dress on their website and ordered it without reading any reviews. After it was ordered I saw the reviews here and almost had a panic attack. With a week to go until my wedding I didn't leave a lot of room for error. However, my dress arrived in good time, and it's absolutely beautiful. I may make a couple tweaks with the fit with some pinning the day of, but nothing too extreme or that I wouldn't expect. My daughter helped me try it on to make sure it would fit, and she loves it so much she wants me to save it for her if she ever gets married, as my first wedding dress was ruined by water damage. My experience with customer service when I asked for a tracking number to be sure it would arrive on time was excellent. They also emailed me right after I ordered to double check my measurements, as it was a custom-made dress, which was a good thing, because I did have a couple that were wrong. I will post pictures of me wearing the dress after my wedding day next Sunday, so that you know this is real and not a paid review. I'm extremely happy and can't wait to feel like a princess on my wedding day!

Buyers beware recently ordered from Doris weddings.
They basically just took my money.
They lied to me that my order was already sent and it wasn't.
Then when I called them out they offered me only %50 a refund -shopping cost for a dress that was never sent to me...
I'm so upset.
I have no wedding dress and no wedding dress $.

Horrible! I ordered two dresses and one arrived stained and the other is already ripping at seams and I’ve never put the dress on!

I ordered a dress off of this site after doing a little research and it seemed legit. So I bought the dress and off the site I did see that the payment had processed and they did give me a tracking number but it never sent me a email confirmation even when I hit the button to send it to my email. I emailed them saying if they could please send me a confirmation email to establish that they did get it because I payed extra money to get it shipped out super fast and I didn’t hear anything about it being confirmed. I got no response from them for 2 days. I did more research on them like I should have prior to buying it and all I read was people not getting what they ordered or if they did get it, it looked nothing like the picture so I immediately try to dispute the transaction through my bank and as soon as I did that they emailed me almost a few hours later saying we got your order on high priority and they said they sent me multiple emails but I never received one. It is so funny how I had been sending them messages for 2 whole days and never received a response until they receive a notification from the bank that I disputed the transaction and they are under investigation!!

I ordered a mother of the groom dress that looked beautiful on the site. Order date was Jan 16th and after several emails to inquire about expected shipment date. They kept promising a forthcoming shipment date but after the last email I sent indicating I was upset, they got it sent out in a week, on March 8th!! Almost 2 months after ordering! When I tried it on it was so small my husband couldn't zip it past my lower back. It was THAT small! On requesting info to return they informed me they can only return 80% plus they tack on all shipping and handling costs, bc it comes from somewhere in China, and suggested I sell it on Craig's list. What reputable company does this!!! ABSOLUTELY do NOT buy from this company!!!

***Amazingly a week after I posted this, they refunded me 80 dollars from the 192 I purchased. As I donated my dress to a non profit, I felt like this was generous of them. However, based upon the quality of the dress vs how they advertise, I still would never use them again.

I ordered a simple dress and when it came it was nothing like the dress pictured. The lace was completely different and it was at least a foot shorter. It was not custom at all but it was a completely different and cheaper made dress. Since it was not custom, customer service sent me an email when I asked about refunds basically begging you not to return it (I assume because they know they wont pay you back) and advised me to donate it and they would still refund 50% after shipping was deducted (which I'm sure would be an exorbitant amount quoted for shipping). I opted to donate since I got the feeling if I returned it to them I still would not receive any money. I shipped it within the 7 day timeline and sent them pictures of my receipt for shipping to the non-profit and its been two weeks and I've heard NOTHING from them despite repeated email attemps. Do not use this company it is a SCAM

Very bad experience.

When the dress was finally sent, it did not look like what was advertised in the photo. The fabric was the complete opposite and not the correct color. When I e-mailed the customer service e-mail, within the 14-day return policy window I got no response (still waiting). Very bad - do not order from here.

Please!!!! Do NOT order from this scam website!!! Save yourself the time, stress and money!!! I can not stress this enough!!!! If you are reading this thinking this won’t happen to me you are wrong!! I have tried to leave reviews in the Dorris wedding website but they do not show up. I believe all of the reviews on there are fake. My experience well was like everyone else’s. Sent a cheap excuse for a dress that was damaged, the wrong color and had a train, which I was told via e-mail it did not. The so called company... which is most likely a Chinese sweat shop refused to write their wrong and wasted another two weeks of my time. If you are thinking about ordering from this company DONT!!!!!! You would not believe how terrible the customer service is! I had proof I was sent the wrong product had their e-mails and pictures but all they did was offer me 20 dollars! What a JOKE!!! DONT DO IT, I can’t stress this enough!!!!!!

The custom made dress I ordered came in exactly as pictured on the website. The dress was beautiful, but the quality seemed to be somewhat poor, and the size was all wrong.
I wish I had not ordered the custom sized dress, but had ordered the dress in a size larger than I normally wear.

THEY SENT ME A PINK DRESS!
My order number drw20190314-44853 was for a custom IVORY wedding dress. It showed up pink/peach. I confirmed in email that it was Ivory. I ordered "as pictured" which was ivory, then verified ivory (I was worried it might be white or champagne). It shows up freaking pink.
No way to call. My wedding is 6 weeks away.

I wish i could give zero stars.
My mother ordered my wedding dress for me, in February, paid on feb 3rd and we have been waiting for weeks for the site to upload shipping or processing status and today i find out my order has been canceled and they haven’t refunded the money back to her PayPal account.
No cancellation email, nothing.
Waste of time, waste of money, do not buy anything from here.
Bad communication, there isn’t even a number you can call, only an email.

I'm dumb for not doing more research before ordering, but maybe I can help someone else avoid my mistake.
-Dress was not as pictured. Different color; ugly, stiff lace.
-Customer service said I should should just donate it, or return it for a fraction of the original cost.
-I sent it back for $35 in shipping.
-Five months later it came back to me after a visit to China.
AVOID THIS COMPANY.

This site is such a scam. I ordered a beautiful lace plunged back sheath wedding dress after carefully reading & re-reading the fine print about the company & policies, leary because you do not see the dress or feel the material or try it on before purchasing...had never ordered like this online before much less from China. I ordered by their size chart to insure I could return if necessary (at a disappointing 20% loss anyway) Got an immediate order acceptance once they received my payment, emails of tailoring and shipment notice, wonderfully receiving the dress in less than 3 weeks. However, the dress is some wild version of the picture. The lace tired boho sheath was in person a volumous layered & gathered lace mess with a 2 foot train& the fit was too big here, too small there, nothing like I expected. Sent an email to request a return approval the next day to insure I meet the 14 day deadline...2 emails later and still no answer, now almost 14 days passed & no seemingly other way to contact customer service, no phone #, no receipt & a mess of a dress. Do not order from Dorris Wedding unless you have money to lose!!!!
