I ordered my dress from this website and the price seemed too good to be true. That’s because it was. When I received my dress it looked like a cheap wannabe imitation of the dress that was in the photograph. The fabric was COMPLETELY different from the fabric in the photo, it was weird puffy CHEAP tulle and it looked awful. As for the sizing I ordered it “custom” which was a size 4. When I received it my dress was huge AND they refused to give me a refund because I ordered a so called custom size. Do not waste your time and money here, I would’ve been better off just going to a fabric store and sewing a dress myself and I’m not a professional seamstress whatsoever. Boo on this site, boo on their customer service and boo on their cheap ill fitting dresses.

I ordered my dress a size bigger just in case and it arrived earlier than expected. It was exactly as pictured on line and sizing was exactly as it stated it would be. All I have to do now is get it altered to fit perfectly.

A phenomenal price and quality much better than I expected.

I ordered a burgundy dress with customized sizing for a bridesmaid dress. I paid $150 for it so thought it would be the right color and fit. I was completely wrong and now I am stuck with a dress I will never wear. I will try to sell it on Craigslist but I am definitely not getting my money back on it. The dress that came is red and does not fit at all! This company is worthless and they have terrible customer service. They didn’t even apologize or take responsibility for sending me the wrong color dress, none the less, the wrong size! Don’t order from them!

In my experience, this company is a complete scam. They rip off beautiful photos from designer websites and crush the dreams of wearing the perfect dress.

I purchased what I thought was an incredible, low backed, pearled sweetheart top in ivory with a champagne sash. It was unbelievably priced and I should have known better, but it was everything I had hoped for in a wedding dress. They even offered custom sizing! HAH.
When it arrived, it was not the style I ordered, it included sequins, it was bright white and had a white sash. The custom measurements did not exist, as the dress was 2 feet too short and about two sizes two big around the waist.

I contacted "customer service" who told me I could not return it because it was a custom dress. (That's the trick) I let them know that though I ordered a custom dress, this was not the custom dress that I ordered. They continued to refuse a refund.

I went through dispute resolution through paypal who agreed with my photos of what I ordered vs. what was shipped. They instructed me to mail it back to them, at a $55 fee, and they would refund me the money and the shipping cost when it arrived. Which it never did. The tracking ended in the city of the business in China on August 17th. There have been no updates and it is now October 19th. I have fought with paypal and the seller for the last two months. The seller told me that they rejected the package because I was not authorized to ship it to them and paypal will not refund me because they package "did not arrive" yet. I am out a lot of personal time, money, and what was worse, I lost my dream wedding dress. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!! You are guaranteed nothing but regret.

I ordered a formal dress from this company, Dorris Wedding, for my daughter's prom. When it arrived, it did not fit her the way she had hoped. Within that same month, I proceeded to return the dress, stating that 'it's lovely, but does not fit properly'. Btw, there was no return slip on the package nor anything about their return policy on any of the email correspondence that I received from them, which I thought was odd. I received an email back stating that they couldn't take the dress back due to it not being returned 'within 14 days upon receipt of the package.' My response was the fact that it was just a standard size 6. There were no custom alterations made to the dress in any way. Who has ever heard of a clothing company who doesn't take returns if not done so within 14 days? Now I'm stuck with a $180.00 dress that my daughter won't wear (no fault of her own). What a waste of $$$! As for their return policy, in all fairness to their future customers, I suggested they post their return policy on all email confirmations & correspondence so that people are not taken off guard like I was. It strikes me as shady and very disingenuous, especially knowing that the dress I ordered is in perfect condition and could easily be resold by their company. I will NEVER order a product from Dorris Wedding again!

Honestly was super skeptical but fell in love with the dress online. Took the Gamble and it paid off. I absolutely love it! Only minor adjustments are needed which mom can handle. It arrived on the 18th and wasn't expected until the 23rd. Super satisfied, price is amazing.

I ordered my bridesmaid dress from their website. It was supposed to be lovely and flowy. When I got my dress it was made of tulle with lace applique and poofy. It is very stiff and very heavy. I ordered it bigger than my bridesmaid needed and it should have fit easily on me, but it wouldn't even zip. It was probably 4 sizes too small. It was a light pink instead of a light purple. It was satin and cotton for the lining. It should have just been cotton and lace. It was very heavy and stiff and poofy. It looks like an 80's prom dress. It's like the company stole someone else's dress design and made their version of the dress. It's sown well, but is not the dress they advertised.

I've tried several times to put a review on their website for the dress I ordered and it would not take it, so I can't even save someone else from this trap.

I contacted the company and they said I could return the dress, since I didn't customize the measurements, but I would only get 80% back PLUS they'd deduct the shipping they paid to get it to me. Since it was very heavy and came from China it would be costly. They said I could donate it to one of the organizations on their list and they'd give 50% of the amount to me but only give you 7 days from your inquiry of return to do so. If you do ship it back you can only use the local post office, you can't ship it DHL (which is how it was sent), UPS or FedEx or you will not get your refund because of something about customs.

They said in their letter to me that many if their customers will sell the dress on Craigslist. If many people are having this problem, they're not trying to please their customers, they're trying to scam them.

I contacted my bank and filed a claim for fraud and they're investigating. Hopefully they can get my money back.

Disappointed in what I received. It isn't what was pictured. Losing money on this since you can only get 80% of your money back. Made a costly mistake.

Do not order from them! Not only did the order not come for almost two months, I had utilized their "customized measurements" feature. The dress was NOT TO THE MEASUREMENTS. It was TOO SMALL. I tried to contact them to return and they said you cannot return customized orders and suggested I "sell it on craiglist." They ignored me when I wrote back asking for them to kindly reconsider, pointing out that the dress was not made to the measurements I provided and that this is an issue with their sizing team. It's not much money but I'm still out $170 for a useless piece of fabric.

Ordered a wedding dress! I used their size comparison chart and ordered “my size” when it showed up a week late, it was way too small!!! I requested a refunded within a week of receiving but it was refused they said it was past their “14” day request!! I would not recommend this company to anyone!!

I ordered my daughter n laws dress from this site. The dress did come back in a reasonable time. The dress actually looks like what we ordered. The problem is there's a noticeable defect in the fabric of the dress and they didn't put in a bustle at our request. We did not want to send the dress back, we just wanted a bit of a refund to take the dress to a local tailor to see if the defect can be repaired and have a bustle put in. I even sent them a photo of the defect, only for them to email me back, saying they don't believe the problem came for them! Their idea of a compensation was $5.00. First off, it's obvious the problem is a defect in the fabric, any person with eyes can see that. What are they implying, that we made the defect??? The dress had just come out of the packaging and we were carefully inspecting it and saw the defect immediately!!! Second, to offer only $5.00, is actually an insult! Where would I take the gown to have it repaired for $5.00? The dresd came to us with a defect!!! I emailed them back disputing what they said and told them their solution was an insult, that they basically have to do better than that! To no avail, they are now totally ignoring my emails!!! What a sham! I would advise no one to order from this company!!! Their customer service is hidious and they are not a company of good integrity to their customers!!!!

Please don’t use this company to purchase a dress that is meant for your special day. You will lose your money and be disappointed. The pictures are misleading. The dress I got is nothing like the picture and the company refuses to correct the problem. They are overseas and language barriers are a problem with their emails. I wish I could show pictures of what I ordered and what I received. Buy American!

The dress I ordered looked exactly like the picture and was exactly what I wanted! It fits true to the sizing chart! The only downside is that my dress did not arrive by the estimated arrival date - I contacted their customer service two days after the estimated arrival date just to give it a little more time and explained the situation. They responded back within a day, and I had my dress exactly one week later. If you do order, you should order at least two months in advance (I got mine in one month and one week), but it is definitely worth the money and the wait!!

BEWARE. Does not get any worse than this. Ordered my dress on June 10th, received email June 26 telling me my dress was finished, 6 weeks later and 2 promises to have my dress to me, they emailed me that my dress was not made and I was unable to get my dress... 2 weeks before our wedding day. Ruined our wedding. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

thank you so much for the beautiful dress you sent for my daughters Debs/Prom day, It was just stunning, fabric was beautiful and so well made, it came a week before her debs day and glad to say it didn't even need altered in any way, thank you also for the extra fabric just in case...We live in Ireland and were worried it would not come in time, but we needn't have worried at all, it came when you said it would....I have sent pics of the dress to let your customers see how beautiful the dress is front and back..my daughter was so happy with it., you made a young 17 year old very happy indeed...so many people asked where she got her dress from and I happily told them your website, I wouldn't hesitate to buy again from yourselves...Thank you again for helping to add to my daughter's wonderful first debs/prom day..

I ordered a bridesmaid dress for an upcoming wedding. It was ABSOLUTE GARBAGE!!!! Absolutely unwearable. The fabric was frayed, the neckline was uneven & it honestly looked like a BAD Halloween costume. I emailed them ASAP & got some long winded response, which pretty much said that it's so expensive to send the dress back (to China), so they suggested donating it to several places (I wouldn't insult anyone who runs one of these reputable resale places by donating this piece of junk), and with proper proof of donation, they would refund HALF of the price of this $130.00 "dress" in 30-60 days!!! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!!!!! I will now toss this HORRENDOUS garment & go to a local bridal shop to purchase another one.

Dress came on time and even early. However, the dress came in not as pictured in just about every way possible. Not to mention 7 inches too small. I had to hire a seamstress who charged $200 for all of the alterations on my $165 dress. I checked return policy and it did state that custom sized dresses could not be returned. But if you do somehow fall into the category of acceptable returns you would still have to pay for the shipping return cost, which you would have to do via USPS only. This is poor customer service.
Side note: All reviews on the page are specifically chosen, if not planted. I wrote a review of my dress on the page and it has yet to show up AND the "4 reviews" that were there before I bought my dress have now changed since then.
My special day is in 2 1/2 weeks which makes this any brides nightmare.

I never write reviews but this company is such a scam that I need to warn people not to buy from here. I am very disappointed in this company and their customer service. The people there were very rude and they did not take responsibility for their mistake. Please do not buy anything from this company. They are a huge rip off. That is my main point about Dorris Wedding but if you want to read my story, see below.

I bought a bridesmaid dress from Dorris Wedding in 2018. I had found a very pretty rose colored dress on their website and it worked perfectly for the wedding. When I received the dress, it was nothing like what I was expecting. Turns out that the dress they sent me was a bright red color. I doubled checked my order and determined that the color I was supposed to get did not match what they sent. Naturally I thought a simple mistake had been made and that the company would be able to switch out the incorrect dress for the correct one. I was WRONG. I sent in a ticket letting them know a mistake had been made and asked what the procedure would be to get it exchanged. They wrote back saying that I would have to pay for the dress to be shipped back and I would only get an 80% refund since their is a restock fee. I responded saying that they were the ones that had made the mistake in the color and asked for a full refund so I could purchase the correct dress FROM THEM. They denied my request, saying that there are slight discolorations (because of lighting, photoshop, etc) in all dresses and that it is not their responsibility. This was not a “slight” discoloration. This went back and forth many times but they still denied that this was their fault.

I had high hopes and now i'm stressed out because I have to rush and find another dress a week before my wedding :/ I lost 216.00
They custom made the dress because I'm petite. what i recieved was a dress that was NOTHING like the picture, it fit me big and they will not refund me the money. The original photo was made of lace and silk and instead got a rough material completely white and it was hideous.

VERY DISAPPOINTED.

The dress I ordered did not match the description. It's a light purple, NOT white. In the beginning they did communicate with me about my order and they were quick to do so, however now that I want to return the dresses because the color and fit are not acceptable, they will NOT REPLY to my return request. They state that you need approval to return items within 14 days. I have emailed them 4 times in the past three days with NO RESPONSE from them. I ordered two dresses with the hopes of keeping one, so I'm out $320 as of now. I sent pictures of my order, a picture of the dress so they could see the color and pictures of my previous emails with no reply.
