We chose a Mattress in store but ordered it online a couple of weeks later with a price match promise.
Our dealings with Tracey were first rate and she sorted delivery at a convenient time for us. We were kept updated of timings and the delivery was made efficiently at the allotted time.
Wouldn’t hesitate to use Downtown again.

I am so pleased with my Parker Knoll Harriet sofa. The delivery drivers were excellent, so careful and quick and were on time. I give this review 4 stars because of the confusion with the fabric finish which occurred after the order had been placed resulting in contact with Parker Knoll. If the manufacturer had not queried the order my sofa seats and cushions would have been made up in the wrong fabric. At the time of placing my order in store the assistants said they had experienced problems with this before. I suspect it's the codes bring input into the computer. These should be checked out and problems raised with Parker Knoll to avoid someone in the future being disappointed.

Went into Oldrids at Boston to look at mattresses. Thea came over and asked if we needed any help. We said just looking. She didn't push and left us to it. After a while she came over and asked if we had any questions. Not too pushy, just right. She was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Very rare nowadays and something the great internet and Ai cannot do!

It was an absolute pleasure and Oldrids you need to keep this lady.

Friendly in shop service and excellent delivery

Put simply, EVERYTHING from start to finish, was EXCELLENT. The experience and expertise of the staff were clearly apparent, and this, when added to the generous discount authorised by Steve the Furniture Manager, encouraged me to purchase a second motorised armchair rather than just the one as originally planned. EMMA from the Sofa Department was also most helpful right from the start in early March this year.

Bought a new corner sofa and cuddle chair - really please with the aftercare - the cuddle chair arrived damaged and we were given a loan chair until a replacement was made and delivered. Service throughout has been exceptional - a big thank you for the team at downtown.

I was impressed by the price AND free postage. My order was dispatched quickly and,arrived in good order. The transaction moved along well. I was amazed that I didn't even have to give my card number, you seem to have it all.
I've ordered sheepskin gloves from Derbyshire in the past. That firm was very helpful, so I think you must have special people up there.

Downtown is a lovely store, an old-fashioned department store that has been upgraded into the modern day. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, they really care about the store and their products. We bought carpet and it was ordered,delivered and fitted with such care, making sure we were happy at each stage. We then ordered a new lounge suite, again each stage was double checked to make sure it was correct. We were informed when it arrived in sore and dislikes booked. The delivery was so smooth, the old suite removed and the new placed where we indicated.
We are long time customers and will purchase again in the future as the service is first class and the goods are high quality and long lasting.We are so happy.

After a 5 month lead time our 3 piece suite was delivered. It came well protected and boxed and was assembled by two pleasant delivery men.

Dualit is a super make and I am very pleased with my new toaster.
What made the experience great was the speed of delivery after ordering online.
