Handle bar too chunky which prevents a decent grip on hills etc. very heavy pram and car seat in general. Heavier than other brands. Chunky when folded down. Need two people to navigate all the buttons etc and awkward to adjust the hood on the carry cot if you only have one free hand. As a designer myself I can see the flaws clearly. Disappointing:(

I bought the grey Jurassic bundle but the fabric is absolutely rubbish! So prone to staining even a few raindrops seem to stain for weeks. Contacted customer service and was told it’s not a manufacturers default Therefor not their problem! Really unhappy customer!! I even asked if I could swap for a display one!

As a first time mum, I absolutely love, love, love my Egg2 Stroller. The quality and is amazing, the design is stylish and it’s easy to manoeuvre - even with one hand! I have the beautiful seagrass colour but all the colourways are lovely.

The Egg is rubbish! The liner and Footmuff always slides down. The Footmuff hangs over the end of the stroller and doesn’t provide warmth as there is a huge gap between Footmuff and child. The rain cover doesn’t fit well and can’t easily access child without taking it all off and getting everyone wet. The bag gets pushed out towards your knees by the bassinet & stroller so it bangs your legs when walking. The bassinet is so small most children will be out of it by 4/5months and the stroller is really too big at that age. It’s also a bucket/banana seat so baby can’t lie flat to sleep; legs stick up in the air! The storage underneath is really small. When the chassis is folded down the handle touches the floor so prone to damage. It’s not very small in the boot. There is no where to clip pram toys that the child can actually reach. The brake is temperamental.

We love our Egg 2 pram. We purchased Jurassic Grey and our little boy loves being out and about in his pram. Such a stylish but yet practical travel system. It is often admired by passers-by due to the eye catching design. We have been using it for 13 months, and we have used it in rain, hail and even snow! We have also used it on the beach during those rare sunny days that we get here in Northern Ireland. Still my favourite baby purchase that I chose!

Would not recommend for the money.

Pros, looks lovely, smooth to push.
Cons: need 3 hands to do the straps up as they all come apart, really bulky when folded down, if you take it walking through park etc grass/ mud gets caught under front wheels constantly

Was expecting a lot more for the money especially as I loved my big egg pram so much. Wish I had gone for something different

My daughter purchased an egg stroller from Egg stockist beautiful bambino , Stockport summer 2022 , she’s a full time student nurse and her little boy is in nursery ,their time together is precious. The egg stroller with little use has snapped and she contacted beautiful bambino , they do not give company warrantees or replace a broken item, but are the middle person (their words) so arranged collection from her home , 2 weeks have gone by already , my daughter does not drive struggling to leave the house to get essentials or enjoy a walk to the park with no stroller. I’m so upset she’s had to struggle because she choose this company and make UPDATE.hi there names are Becky , Natalie and Katie , we waited in all day yesterday for the pram to be collected and NO one come , it’s effecting her schedule, quality of life . Please can you help her it’s not fair

I am an o net of Quartz EGG2 pram and I also got some accessories to it. The pram itself is just the best item we got for our small one! The most stylish and comfortable I have ever used. Baby is safe in it and very comfy! I got as well the Egg blanket and OMG 😳 the best baby blanket we have and my small girl just loves it. Falling asleep as soon as the soft material is near her face! Can not price the Egg items enough and I am recommending it to all my pregnant friends! So worth every penny! HAPPY CUSTOMER and the baby ;)

Love the egg, so snuggly and keeps our little one nice and toasty in the cold English weather!

Wish there was a option to give 0 stars. Where to start with this company. I have purchased egg products for our children over the years, as we had a holiday booked we opted for the eggz stroller. The looks of the stroller looked great but that’s where it all stops. The design of the whole stroller is terrible. The stroller never really opens up well and always seems to collapse. When walking we always managed to hit the break causing an immediate stop. There are many other issues but to long to list. We are so disappointed with the stroller and even worse the customer service is absolutely appalling. Sam the so called “commercial director” was very dismissive and didn’t take any of our views onboard. I can quite honestly say I will never purchase nor recommend anyone to purchase an eggz stroller or any other product because if something goes wrong they’ll just palm you off to the retailer….. when actually it’s egg the company that make the stroller not the retailer. Anyway I’ll await for a non helpful response! AVOID

We have the egg2 bundle with pram, stroller and car seat. It all looks beautiful but if I were buying again, I’d buy a different brand. The handling of the pram is excellent and even on bumpy ground it feels strong and secure. Given the price of the product though there are too many things that just don’t work that well. I can’t see how it’s possible to put the pram up with one hand. You need to flick catches to release the handle and wheels. So baby has to be put down. Putting the hood up and down on the bassinet is really tricky as you have to push buttons on both sides at the same time so you can’t do this whilst moving. It’s a really irritating feature. The basket underneath could be deeper. Fitting the car seat onto the chassis is really quite tricky and often takes me several minutes as you have to line things up on both sides- tricky to do that whilst holding the weight of your baby in the seat. When collapsed the chassis is big. It fits in my boot but thank goodness I changed my car just before my daughters birth as it’s doesn’t fit in my old boot (VW polo). The rain cover doesn’t have a zip so you can check on baby without taking the whole thing off - ones on other prams do.
My daughter is just under 5 months. She’s too small for the stroller at the moment but having read the reviews I’m now worried whether that’ll have problems with the recliner clip. If I were buying again I’d buy an alternative and probably save around £500 in the process.

I bought the egg travel system bundle in feather. I have been using it for nearly 4 months now and haven’t had any issues. The colour is unreal! I get so many compliments on it. If egg could change a few things though, I wish the hood on the pram/pushchair gave more shade. & I love the car seat it’s just that it’s 1 very heavy! And 2 my baby sweats in it so much no matter what I do! Not sure if it’s the material. But apart from those things, I’m in love with it!

I bought the egg camo buggy last year for my now 1 year old . I wasn't told that i would not be able to get the extras for a double buggy as it was a limited addition. I now have a 1 year old and 7 week old . From the moment i bought it i was having trouble fitting the car seat into the buggy. I was told to put vaseline on it so it would fit easier which to me paying 1400 for a buggy is totally unacceptable so i brought it back to the shop where i bought it and they told me that i was given the wrong car seat from their other store in belfast . The store in Dublin gave me a new car seat cybex which was a little better . Also now i cant buy another camo toddler seat as they have stopped making them . Getting out and about now using the bassinet and the toddler seat it is no good at all. It is really hard to put the baby in the bassinet as it only goes on the bottom so its very hard to fit it in and eventually get your baby into it and the hood cant move as the toddler seat is on top. There is barely enough room to fit the raincovers in the basket when you have the 2 in the buggy so you would fit absolutely nothing into the basket when going to the shop . This buggy is really not worth the money it is not cheap 1400 euros + extras and i was very disappointed with it. I will try sell it and get a better one. Very disappointed with this product. Also once the bassinet is fitted at the bottom its very hard to reach the break . I would never usually leave a review but it is really not enjoyable every morning trying to get this buggy sorted and getting my other kids to school .

Purchased the eggz2 stroller. After 13 days the fabric has bunched up under my sons bottom. It won’t stretch back out which is horrendous he’s 9 months old and £399 later you don’t expect this to happen! Purchased from John Lewis which makes it worse as they are supposed to be a brilliant company. Obviously it’s the supplier issue not the stores!

Issue with the front wheels.

Our pram seems to have got harder to push as if there is resistance. When looking at the wheels they seem to be rubbing and tilting, indicating that the wheel bearings have gone. The design of the Egg wheels means the wheel bearings can not be replaced on their own without purchasing entire new front wheels for £60 plus postage.
Has anyone else had issues like this? I would have expected the wheels on a pram by Egg to have lasted a lot longer and not need replacing?

We do regularly clean and maintain the pram. It has gone out of warranty so Egg unable to help. Wheel bearings on a car last longer so why should they not on a pram of such apparent good quality?

I have contacted Egg but no further response with advise on wheels and wheel nuts can not be removed to check wheel bearings and replace these on their own.

Excellent and engaging customer service.

The products themselves are a cut above anything else on the market. We feel really proud to push around our Egg pram!

We have had the Egg2 travel system and now proud owners of the EggZ.
The Egg2 is amazing, so luxurious and so much thought has gone into making it. I especially liked the secret pocket in the stroller seat! The rain covers are so easy to whip on if you get caught in a storm.

The EggZ is a more compact stroller. Still the same excellent quality but more convenient.

Ideally I'd have kept both because they both have their uses but my other half says we don't have the space!

Would 100% recommend to any parent.

Hi ... I purchased the Egg Stroller for my grandbabies... so it’s only had minimal use. The mechanism that adjusts the seat is now loose and won’t lock the seat in any position. It appears the “wire” holding seat has become loose. Can I purchase a replacement part. I am in Australia and also contacted you via Facebook, with no response.

Eggz stroller avoid at all cost. 1st of all the letter rubbed of the harness after only 1 week. Was then sent a replacement harness which I didn’t get round to changing straight away as I was busy. Then I put my daughter in the stroller while she was having a nap. When I came to get her out the clasp that keeps the harness closed completely bust open a small magnet fell out so obviously a choking hazard. Not only that if I had been out and not noticed the harness had completely broke my daughter could have fell out and been seriously hurt. My daughter is within the correct weight limit for the stroller. My main concern is u can use this stroller from birth.I have sent the pram back and steered clear of egg and reported to traiding standards. This pram is a serious hazard could potentially cause serious harm or even death. Would never purchase any of there products again..it was purchased from baby birds but the shop was very helpful and helped me return and get another pram

When purchasing a pram and travel system, I didn’t hesitate when I saw the Egg 2. I chose the newer feather colour and it was absolutely perfect to look at. I was so excited to use it. However, since using the pram (baby born June 2022), I have had non-stop problems with it.

Initially, my husband was only able to put the chassis down, with a lot of force. When he went away to work, when I was 4 weeks post Caesarean section, I could not put the chassis down and had to take it into the shop to see if it had a fault. The ladies in the shop said that it should be put down with ease, but this was not the case. After the ladies sprayed it with some furniture spray, it worked much easier. I took it away, however, the issues occurred again and my Gran had to put the chassis in her car boot upright. The chassis is not light at all and I was shocked that she even managed to get it into the boot.

I took the chassis into the shop again and it was sent off for repair. I was informed that the knuckles had been replaced and again, I took it away. However, after 3 days, it broke again and I could not put the chassis down.

The shop sent the chassis off to the supplier who replaced it with a new one. However, when out shopping today, I could not put the chassis down and my Husband has to use force to put it down. We went straight to the shop and the answer was that the chassis’ are stiff when new and therefore we should use furniture spray on it. I cannot believe that this is the answer for a £1300+ pram system!

I tested the pram and chassis in the shop and this worked much easier. I am so unhappy with my purchase, especially because this is a higher end product. I would not recommend Egg to anyone apart from the fact it looks good. However, I would much rather have a user friendly pram than a pretty looking pram!

Edit following reply from Egg - the pram system was bought from W H Watts, our local pram retailer in Teesside. Thank you to Egg for replying so promptly. I wouldn’t have normally left such a damning review but this issue has been going on since I was 4 weeks postnatal and my baby is now 8 weeks old. I really do love the look of the pram but the two chassis’ I have had have not been user friendly.
