Elder care were extremely professional, responsive and considerate of our needs during the end of life care journey of one of our family.

As a whole the carers were good, however when I left fair reviews that weren’t entirely positive those reviews weren’t posted on the carers profile.

That’s very disappointing as it was simple things like “care good but not keeping kitchen clean” which I felt fair, or “excellent at domestic duties but not so good at understanding dementia” I felt that would help future clients pick carers based on their skills.

The staff at Elder have been very informative and listened to our request for a certain type of care for our elderly parents. The system is easy to follow and Elder staff are available seven days a week. We have been delighted with our carer who has shown a very sensitive level of care and carried out duties of care professionally and with a clean and tidy approach. I can highly recommend this company.

Elder has been excellent with finding a carer for my Dad at short notice. The whole process was easy and efficient. Danny was a great help in guiding me through the process, always there for my questions and checking that everything was going smoothly. I would high recommend Elder.

I have had the best experience with Elder . Giles brooks was amazing at helping me out am being very reassuring during a very stressful time . This lead to us having Marilyn Nyandoro. There are no words to express have amazing she is . So much so we don’t want her to go . She is full of compassion and care my mum was and is so settled with her which again in a very stressful time has been such a god send . Thank you is not enough for the experience we have had . We will be using yourself and definitely Marilyn again for sure . Xx

The Elder team made a huge difference to my parents remaining time at home. Nicolette was always supportive and helpful in the office team and our carers were excellent, caring individuals. Marie made a huge impact as their most regular carer but the others were excellent too. I would definitely recommend Elder for live-in care needs.

I didn’t know who to turn to when my aunt needed live in care. It was accidental rather than an orchestrated choice to use Elder. I am so glad I did as I have not been disappointed! They did warn me that the road can be a bit bumpy at times and they weren’t wrong! However, being a nationwide company they are able to find carers from a huge pool of people. I have not been disappointed by the carers I have chosen, sadly due to circumstances there has been a change of too many carers, which I didn’t want. However, this will all be settling down shortly. The standard of care has been fabulous, all the carers have been so kind and helpful to my relative, cooked lovely, nutritious and varied meals. She is also kept very clean too. The house has been kept clean and tidy and my relative is very content!

Carer was very kind towards my mum helped help to everyday but she was very messy.

The Elder team has made this process smooth from start to finish. The customer service is fantastic - friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and responsive. I absolutely recommend Elder for anyone in the stressful position of finding care for a loved one - they have made it so straightforward and nothing seems to faze them or be too much trouble for them. It's a first class service.

We have been using Elder for years now, and found them to be there for us when needed. We have experienced crises, but Elder has always done its best to fill a vacancy at short notice due to unforseen circumstances concerning carers.

I have been using Elder now since November 2025 for Mum who has dementia vascular dementia and Alzheimer’s I’ve had no problems whatsoever with the carers that have been placed. Nicolette is absolutely fantastic. She always phones me to check that everything is okay. There are no problems but I know that I could call her any time if I had got any problems our end would definitely recommend Elder. They stepped up very last-minute for us fabulous service.

Elder was the first company that came up on my search, and they were really good, easy to communicate with, kind, helpful, patient and we had a fantastic carer who came to live with us to look after my elderly father.

Elder were quick to provide some CVs and organized that I speak to prospective carers quickly so that I was able to have one start within a few days to look after my parents.

Elder we able to find a very experienced live-in carer at very short notice and provided exceptional service throughout.

We've been using Elder since around 2020 to look after an elderly relative. Elder is so easy to use when choosing your carer. The selection process is easy to understand and easy to select a carer. The whole team I deal with at Elder are always on hand to discuss the care and any other issues that might arise.
To have this care available is such a relief to our family as it takes a lot of pressure off us. We currently have a couple of carers that rotate the care and this works so well. All the carers we have used all fit in seamlessly which is great for us as we never need to worry about the carers.

Damian from Elder has been 100% supportive and really knowledgeable and understanding about our journey through the care system from the outset.
He has been able to suggest suitable options for our mum as well as the procedures to get the right support.
He has been so empathetic and is a fantastic caring person rather than treating it all like a business. He clearly has everyone’s interests at heart and works so hard to make sure that all needs are provided for the family; carer and the person requiring the care. He is a great listener and very reassuring. He is punctual with his calls and doesn’t bombard you with calls in between appointments, and yet he has been available if we have needed support.
