We found the service with Elder to be great. They helped us to find a carer to assist with my 90 year old mother so we could take a break for a weekend. Communication was good and the carer they recommended was perfect for us

We were in need of respite care over the Christmas period, a difficult time, but Elder found us a lovely carer to start a day after we enquired. The carer and Elder support were very good with all issues that arose and they were pleasant to speak with.

Exceptionally caring, considerate and professional- both the central team and the carers they provided. I would unhesitatingly recommend them.

We needed a carer for my gran when she came out of hospital, she has late stage alzheimers.. We were very stressed trying to find someone suitable who could stay with her and was within our price range, elder was just what we needed :) Hanna is lovely and take amazing care of my gran and the best thing is my gran really likes her and feels comfortable and safe with her. Elder has been great as far as doing check ins and providing support and we couldn't of asked for a better carer 💙 5 stars

I asked Elder to find me a live in carer for my 98 year old mother. The process was very well organised and they kept me up to date. The carer I decided on is absolutely fantastic with mother. She is totally focussed on meetings needs both physically and emotionally which is fifficult as my mum has altzeimers. Having Hana has meant that I feel secure knowing mum is being looked after well and therefore allows me to just spend time enjoying being with mum, laughing and singing etc Her quality of life has got better as has mine.
I would highly recommend Elder if you are considering a live in carer.

Elder's approach to managing online interactions is both swift and effective, and the majority of caregivers they assign are well-suited to the task. Any problems that have popped up were addressed promptly.

Elder care was recommended to us by others who have had a positive experience. We weren't disappointed! All staff we came in contact with have been friendly and efficient. The process of obtaining care for our mother was as simple and efficient as it can be. Within hours of our first enquiry we had 2 carers available for us, that we were able to choose between. The carer we chose, Treasure, was perfect for our mum and made her transition home from hospital and on the path to recovery, smooth.
I would wholeheartedly recommend Elder Care and would definitely use them again in the future, if necessary.

In my experience, I have not very often come across a care agency that is so person centred and that values customer service above money. Elder definitely does this. I would definitely recommend them time and time again

Elder has been absolutely brilliant about helping find live in carers for our mother. They are so proactive and keep in constant touch, both my phone and email, so you never feel isolated, steering us through the complexities of long term and short term respite care and offering excellent candidates who are proving delightful and sympathetic to our mother's needs.

The Elder system of handling much of the daily interaction online is efficient and quick and the carers provided have almost all been a good fit. Where there has been an issue, it has been resolved very quickly.

Eldercare was supportive, helpful and knowledgeable. The company is well run and help is always available. The carer that we had was amazing and we couldn't have wished for anyone better to care for our mother. All my other siblings don't live near her, so we were happy that they placed someone we trusted and knew was going to take good care of our mother. I would highly recommend Eldercare if you are looking for someone to take care of your loved one(s). Eldercare always had the time to talk and answer questions, and gave support through the whole experience

My aunt is receiving excellent care and attention from her carer, Mavis. She is a Dementia patient, and is very happy and content with Elder, in providing the great care through Mavis.
As her nephew, I am also very pleased with the care and attention she receives from Mavis.

Elder is a good company, putting those looking for a carer in touch with pre-selected carers. They were warm, helpful and understanding, and gave help negotiating their systems (completing patient information and requirements for care). However, once I was handed over from the initial person of contact, I sadly fell through the cracks. The 'How to be ready for the arrival of your carer information did not get sent to me. The poor carer and I were working it out as we went, which meant things were not as smooth for either of us as they should have been. The carer however, was lovely – stayed patient and we got there.

They have launched an app, which is potentially a great help, but still has lots of improvement needed.

They cancelled the direct debit too soon, and because my final payment was not made this way, they are chasing me for the non payment of the DD. I have written to them but they still are showing as not paid – it is paid.

I was fortunate to have two great carers for my brother, they were both super. The back up from Elder not so good.

One very nice touch was they sent me a lovely bunch of flowers with a sympathy card after my brother passed.

If they got on top of their admin and did what they said they would do (I still have not had the promised phone call of support post my brother passing) they would be a 5 star company.

I needed an emergency live-in carer and elder.org was able to meet this need when 3 local (franchised) care providers could not.
As a carer platform, I appreciated how they 'held your hand' through the carer onboarding process, with an account manager assigned to you to guide through the process. Altogether very smooth and happy with the experience. Thank you Elder.org!

We needed a carer urgently—on the very same day—and Elder couldn’t have been more helpful. They quickly found us a wonderful carer who was able to travel to us that afternoon, even making a three-hour journey to be there. The whole process was smooth, professional, and reassuring at a stressful time. The care provided for my father was excellent—kind, respectful, and attentive. I’m so grateful for Elder’s support and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for compassionate, reliable care.

On the recommendation of my brother in law, we used Elder to provide live in care for my 96 year old mother. Elder were very good at listening to us and establishing our needs.

The selection process to find a carer was a little bumpy. Not many candidates were put forward initially. We then selected a candidate who we thought would be an ideal fit. The candidate withdrew 72 hours before they were due to start due to personal reasons. Our next selectee, did not want to work in a house which had web cams.

In contrast our third selection turned out to be a marvel. Whilst they perhaps didn't come across best during the interview, we took a chance and were rewarded for it. The carer we elected was friendly, compassionate, effective and able to tailor their approach as my mums needs changed.
