They are Thieves!

Horrible experience. They shorted me on my order. I emailed them once a day for 5 days and they ignored me. What a waste of time and a huge rip off.

I had a small issue with the print job…

I had a small issue with the print job I ordered (my fault). Their customer service was SO helpful and got it sorted for me quickly. I'm sad I didn't get the agent's name, but if you see this, you're a star!! The fixed envelopes came looking better than I could have expected.

Thank you cards and scalloped edged envelopes

I order scalloped envelopes for my wedding invitations and multiple sets of thank you cards for my registry gifts. My order came in very quick and exceeded my expectations! The scalloped edge was such a simple but beautiful design and they were very durable. The set of thank you cards was so convenient and the thick quality made it so much nicer than generic card sets. Exactly what I was looking for!

Envelope Reprint

Last January 5, 2024, I ordered 250 6x9-1/2 A10 envelopes, peel and seal. The price was $96.75. When I tried to reorder the same amount again this week, the price was double! They advised that I needed to get a new quote (would take two days). It's now been three days, no quote, and when I called I was disconnected by the first woman. I tried to call back and a man returned my call. He said that the price was accurate, because of new ink that is more expensive. Absolutely horrific experience. He said "there had been a lot of changes in the company." I guess! He said he would escalate the issue to a supervisor and would get a call back within a couple of days.

Never again

I've been a longstanding customer of envelopes.com but after my experience this past October, I will never order from them again.

First of all, they completely disregarded the variable addresses I paid $422+ for and instead printed THE SAME recipient's address on EVERY envelope in my order. So I received 450 envelopes all going to the same recipient, rendering 99% of the envelopes useless. I confirmed that the address file I uploaded had unique addresses.

Secondly, on the extra envelopes I ordered (without variable address), they opted to print the return address from the back flap also on the front. My client had planned to use these envelopes if there were any issues or last minute additions to his recipient list. Instead we had about 100 envelopes being sent to and returned to the same address, also rendering these envelopes useless.

Third of all, it took 19 DAYS for 1 of my orders to print and ship, nearly causing my client to miss our target ship-out date. And I'm convinced it only went into production when it did because I was constantly following up with envelopes.com. There was no option to select printing/production time in during the ordering process.

Lastly, their customer service team was not apologetic at all and has only offered a 15% discount on my next order (which there won't be one at this rate) as a solution. No refund, no acknowledgment of their screw ups, nothing.

Horrendous.

Do not use Envelope.com!

I had a terrible experience with a recent order I placed with Envelope.com. My custom order was messed up, shipping was delayed, and the customer service was awful.

Here's a breakdown of the issues I encountered:

Messed Up Custom Order: They didn't get my custom order correct.
Delayed Shipping: The order took much longer to arrive than I was expecting.
Poor Customer Service: When I contacted customer service about the problems, they were unhelpful and basically told me to read the fine print.
Unclear Disclosure: Nowhere upfront did they disclose that printing could take up to 11 days.
Broken Checkout Cart: The checkout cart didn't work properly, forcing me to create three separate orders and pay extra fees.
Overall, this was a frustrating and expensive experience. I would strongly advise anyone considering Envelope.com to look elsewhere. There are many other companies that offer custom envelopes and printing services, and I'm sure you'll find one that provides better quality, faster shipping, and more helpful customer service.

sounds like the same as everyone else that had bad reviews. over promise, under deliver. horrible customer service. "I'm gonna put you on hold for 2 min" turns into 30 minutes. SOOOOOOO MAD. NEVER AGAIN

I'm not sure why they can't get their…

I'm not sure why they can't get their act in gear over the last year or so. I've ordered over 50,000 of the identical product from them over 5 years and in the last year every order was a pain, late and just screwed up. I had to send in the artwork again even though none of it has changed. The chat line is a nightmare and just tells you to wait for an email. Identical orders placed an hour apart are delivered weeks apart. Something must have happened and the website can't even do a re-order without entering all new data and getting a new quote for the last year.

Avoid them if you can

Avoid them if you can. I've had to deal with envelopes.com for many projects over the past 5 years, not one custom job—and few of my simpler orders—have ever been correct or were accompanied by the bare-minimum of good customer service. If you do not call them repeatedly they may never ship your product or even tell you it's out of stock. Envelopes.com is as close to a scam as a legitimate business can be.
