I would give them 0 stars if I could
I would give them 0 stars if I could. Ordered and paid for expedited shipping. Three weeks later and still no envelopes. Envelopes.com is a scam. When you call customer service they tell you you will hear back from a manager and you never do. I called them three straight days and same answer each time.

Used to be great, now terrible.
I've used this company for 15 years and prior to this they had always been reliable. It appears that they have changed their website, which doesn't work properly now, and apparently all of the people who had made them worth using. In trying to reorder, I received a price of zero and customer service indicated they would fix it in the cart, but they never did even after multiple phone calls. I've found another printer.

Extremely poor customer service
Extremely poor customer service. A lot of mis information. Customer Service is probably off shore and knows absolutely nothing about the product. Order time out the door is way too long. Will never use them or their sister company Jam Paper again!!

Avoid, avoid, avoid
This company messed up my order at each stage. First, they made the wrong proof. After approving the correct proof, they printed the wrong proof. They refused to accept a return. Finally, after days of back and forth and contesting the charge, they sent me the wrong return labels. Look elsewhere!

Some of the worst customer service I…
Some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I have a decades + experience working as a Graphic designer with 100's of other suppliers. I Understand setting up documents for print and followed the Templates Provided by Jam Paper. However when the printed envelopes arrived the logo was positioned about 1" too low. I confirmed the logo was printed in the wrong place with a customer service rep over the phone. She pulled up my design file and compared it to the photos I sent here of the printed envelopes I received. She confirmed they were mis printed and that the service request would go into review for a re print. Apparently someone else thinks they have been printed correctly and I was never refunded or provided a reprint. It is terribly frustrating to have a problem confirmed with a customer service rep but never be provided a solution. I would recommend to never use this company for a custom print job.

Envelopes.com - FALSE ADVERTISING
Envelopes.com advertises online that they can turn around custom envelopes in 3days, THEY CANNOT. It is actually FALSE ADVERTISING. It has taken them TWO WEEKS and counting. If your business is important to you, do not use this company. I will NEVER use this company again.

Order never delivered, customer service no help
I have reached out to customer service about my order that was never shipped. They were of no help, multiple times assuring me they were about to ship them, or they were "looking into it" and was told I would be personally emailed with order updates. None of this ever happened, and my order never shipped. Stay far, far away from this company.

Totally unreliable
Envelopes.com is so unreliable that it almost screwed up one of the biggest fundraisers my foundation has all year. I ordered 1000 envelopes for my invitations and paid an extra $250 to get the envelopes printed with the recipients’ addresses. I placed the order on April 10th and I finally had them shipped on April 30th. I was able to receive them on May 7th and, to my total astonishment, they had delivered 1000 envelopes all with the same address on them!
I called immediately and explained the issue, considering that I had to send out the invitations by Saturday because I was about to leave for Europe for work on Sunday. I had to send those envelopes out, otherwise my carefully planned fundraiser would have no attending guests!
I called multiple times and nobody, I repeat nobody, would understand the horrible situation I was through. They kept saying that it will take UP TO 72 hours just to talk to the printing department and from 3 to 11 days to have the job reprinted. I can’t believe that they weren’t willing to fix the problems they created by expediting the printing to the same day and ship the envelopes overnight. Such a deplorable and unreliable company with a very, very poor customer service.
Avoid!

This is a scammy company
This is a scammy company. They forgot my order. I had to reach out four times and got the same workaround each time. Finally, two weeks after the estimated delivery date, I was told that the material needed was back ordered. I then requested a refund, which they "forgot" to process.

Don't lose your money
Yet another order not fulfilled. Ordered 1 week ago, as a trade customer our orders should be dispatched within 1 working day and we're still waiting.
I have to say this used to be a fantastic business and I appreciate everyone goes through difficult patches but this has been ongoing for months - this business is dying.
Do not trust them with your hard-earned money - there will come a point when they cease trading and your money is lost.
If they were based on other continents they would be classed as online scammers.

Hit me with a 200% price increase since my last re-order (which was 3 months ago), made absolutely no attempt to address my concerns. No thanks!
Terrible Customer Service
This place has the most uninformed customer service representatives that I've ever experienced. I've made multiple phone calls and online chat trying to get my REPEAT order printed. Right now it's been 3 weeks and they still don't know what is taking so long. They are clueless!!! You can't speak to a supervisor. They'll have to call you back, so far I'm still waiting for the call back.
I refuse to do business with companies who don't pick up the phone
The website was not working. I used their chat function which said "We apologize for keeping you waiting. Our operators are busy at the moment, please leave us a message with your email address and we'll get back to you shortly." I tried calling. No one answered and I couldn't leave a message because every mailbox was full. I finally was able to chat with someone. We had a very large budget for envelopes and I needed to make a custom order. The chat bot said, "I've sent your request for a manager, you can expect their call back within 24-48 business hours." 1-2 days just to place an order with this company! I contacted Vista Print and had the envelopes ordered within 5 minutes. I think this company is going out of business. Don't waste your time. Here are better places: VistaPrint, 123Print, Staples, Business Envelopes, and GotPrint.
Time to move on
We have used this company for a quite a while and the service was great - prices weren't the cheapest but you knew you would get what you ordered when they said you would. There appears to have been changes within the business and it is very much to the detriment of service and the customer. We have now had 3 orders (plain envelopes) waiting over 1 week before being dispatched. Each time we have chased up the order to be fobbed off with 1 story or another - no justifiable reason, no apology, no solution. Time to find another supplier!
Beware of quality - Watch your back
I've worked with printers for 30 years. Even with a digital proof, when the actual print job prints poorly, the pressman would stop the job and provide that proof to the customer to doubly make sure it's what they wanted. It takes more time but it's the right thing to do. In my case, the policy envelopes.com has, absolves them of a higher quality standard than I would expect. I attempted to resolve the issue with them but the only compromise they would make is 10% off my next order. They wouldn't even tell me if they printed on a digital copier (probably) or traditional CMYK press. Too bad because I won't order from them again and am leaving this review to help others.
Buyer beware!
Buyer beware!! I have used Envelopes.com for a good 10 years+ for my stationery printing business. What on earth happened to them? Their descriptions no longer describe the product I am getting and have always gotten. I have used BRIGHT WHITE folded notecards 80# and 70# or 80# envelopes for 10 years. Now I keep getting a 32lb cheap (LUX) envelope that does not match the paper and the description says 80# on both A1 and A2. This has happened 3 times and the second time they sent me the exact same mistake. It took them 3 times and 2 months to get it right during my busiest time of the year (Thanksgiving and Christmas). Here in January 2024 I thoughtfully looked over everything I ordered and it happened again. Just called and waited 12min and when I asked to speak to a manager, they hung up on me. I am on hold again right now for 25 min. Customer service sucks. Beyond disappointed. I need to find another company!
I've used Envelopes.com for almost 10…
I've used Envelopes.com for almost 10 years for all of my custom business envelopes and they have gone down hill in the past few years. My recent print job was completely wrong and, after multiple interactions with their customer service reps, they will not send re-prints, allow me to return the print job they messed up or issue a refund. Although my custom format is on file with them (and has been for years) they take no responsibility for their error. I'm basically out $700 and I have to find a new printer to do the job right this time. I will not give them the benefit of the doubt again.
Missed deadline and low quality prints…
Missed deadline and low quality prints and they even printed my company logo half missing. Contacted customer service which is the worst CS I came across. 0 star company and 0 star customer service.
Failed to meet the deadline
Failed to meet the deadline, came up with lots of excuses which changed by the minute, blamed me, blamed the shipping company, blamed anyone they could for missing their deadlines. They even tried to say their production time was longer than whats on their website. Customer service was useless.
Order not received and runaround received by so-called customer service.
I placed an order on Nov. 29th and approved the proof on Nov. 30th for 52 recipient addresses on A7 envelopes. Despite their website saying that production and mailing time takes 5-11 days, it is now Dec. 13th and My order has not even been mailed and is still in “processing”! On Monday, Dec. 11 I spoke to Customer Service and was reassured that my order would be sent overnight mail to me on Dec. 13th. I followed up today Dec. 13th and am now being told that they will be sent on Monday, Dec. 18th! These envelopes are for invitations that need to be mailed by Dec. 15th. This is absolutely unacceptable. I requested to speak to a manager and was told that I could not be transferred to one, and instead a request has to be made for a manager to reach out to me. This is the ABSOLUTE worst customer service that I have ever encountered! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
