The product is good but the different product names are confusing
The product is good. I’ve used it for years now. I get confused over the difference in different product names. There seem to be similar but different for home users.
I am also confused by the “upgrade offers” that are made three to four months prior to renewal of the current licence. It is never clear whether the “trial” upgrade starts immediately or at current subscription end as far as the billing and date of next renewal is concerned.
I have selected such an upgrade that included VPN but was confused by being asked to start an account to activate it. I would assume that an account with eset was all I needed, not something extra.
This was attempted to be assisted by your support but I don’t answer calls with no company name that leave no message. I assume it is a spam call but would return it if a message was left.
However the attempt to support was good. I have installed VPN without assistance.
I am still unclear as to the pricing of this upgrade. No details were given in the promotion. I’m still unclear what the cost would be to stay with the VPN version of home security. I’m unclear how that effects my licensing if I decide not to keep your vpn and use a free product instead with my former eset licensing.
