Love Etsy!! I can always find unique and beautifully crafted products for any occasion. I have bought all sorts; from steel magnet boards, personalized cake toppers and decorations, to garden stones & statues.

All of the sellers I have bought from have been brilliant. I've only ever had two issues (neither the fault of the seller) and received immediate responses and resolves. I will no doubt be buying something lovely from Esty again soon.

Die Firma Etsy ist eine Schande für alle Onlineshops. Man bekommt weder Hilfe, Ersatz oder sein Geld zurück. Ich warne alle vor diesen Betügern, man weiß ja nicht einmal wo der wahre Geschäftssitz von diesen Fakeshop betreibern ist. Finger weg !!!

The absolute worse customer service ever existed. Absolutely no reply for months. No solution anywhere for the holiday problem of the account. But of course in the meanwhile they charged me every month.
I closed my account. Adios!

Purtroppo non ho guardato prima le recensioni. Ho ordinato un giochinobper mio figlio da 10€ a gennaio 2022. La consegna era prevista per Aprile-Luglio. Non è arrivato nulla, nemmeno una mail con il tracking. Quando ho recentemente chiesto informazioni ho scoperto che il tracking non lo avevano nemmeno loro, quindi non si sa dove sia il pacco, ed essendo passati 180gg non fanno il rimborso. NON USATE QUESTO SITO

Ho ordinato 2 pezzi di un pannello adesivo dorado a specchio pagato €70 mi sono arrivati 2 pannelli neri di un altro materiale,ho chiesto il rimborso mi hanno risposto che loro hanno spedito il prodotto giusto e non mi rimborseranno fate attenzione a prenotare su questo sito.

Har bestilt vare der fra flere gange uden problemer. Under coronatiden kunne leveringsdatoen dog godt blive forlænget.

ho comprato da un venditore classificato come stellato dalla stessa piattaforma. il pacco è partito in tempo, ho ricevuto il codice per tracciare il pacco lungo tutto il percorso ed è arrivato 5 giorni prima del previsto.

Absolutely horrendous company that supports rogue traders. agreed with me that an order I recieved was NOT as described yet, because the seller who sent a rusty metal tray asked me to wash it and season it, they regarded that as 'used' and refused to help. horrible from start to finish

Be very aware of this company before purchase anything from them. They literally don't care about the costumer once their money is in and the product is out..I'm still waiting for refund money in regard a very defect product they sold me . The whole thing turned into a novel of emails in the attempt to be heard by they useless costumer service in terms of solving issues they own created in the first place.. my advise, stay away from this company!

I ordered a bracelet from a seller called MalaKamalaUK. The bracelet was OK but not exceptional and I gave her 4 stars because it was really fiddly to put on. The day after I left my review I received a message through Etsy's messaging centre from the seller disputing the 4 stars and and insisting that I upgrade her to 5 stars.

I explained that 4 stars reflected the practicability and not the aesthetics of the item. I was then subjected to a barrage of insulting, harassing and distressing messages from the lady concerned even citing her mother's death as a reason why she should have an additional star.

I asked the lady concerned to stop contacting me on at least 3 occasions but she persisted and made all sorts of slurs and intimidating comments. She said she had not slept all night because of this and was crying and that her Etsy shop was the only thing she had to keep her going after her mothers death this year. I don't know about her mother but I do know that she also has an Ebay shop too.

She started sending her messages at 2.00am and continued throughout the night.

She called me a liar, she called me wicked, she said I would have bad karma and load of other stuff that I just haven't got space here for. Incidentally she prides herself on being a 'Master Rieki Master whatever that means to her.

I was appalled by her behaviour and amended the
comments on my review to let buyers know to be aware of this sellers tactics for maintaining her 5 star best seller status. Bullying people in the background and using mafioso tactics to get 5 stars.

She reported my comment to Etsy who she said then encouraged her to respond to my comment publicly. She used this opportunity to extricate her behaviour and instead portray me as being the aggressor. I was not able to refute her comments because by responding she in effect blocked me from adding any further comments.

I complained to Etsy about the bullying and the protracted harassment that this seller engaged in and to be honest their emails to me were heavily biased in favour of the seller.

To add insult to injury, I referred to numerous breaches of the Etsy terms and conditions that this seller had violated and in their final email to me Etsy said that they would 'clarify' in future updates the anomalies that I had pointed where they were in breach of their own policy. Wow, don't implement just change it to support the current narrative if it get's them off the hook!

I am in the process of closing my Etsy account apparently it cannot be closed if there are outstanding orders. Buyers are not protected and the customer services should be called 'Fob off services'.

To add insult to injury the service manager that was dealing with my case eventually stone walled by refusing to escalate my complaint to the next level and moreover said they would not be answering anymore of my emails!

I have accounts with Ebay and Amazon who both have excellent customer service.

Their staff are not familiar with their own policies and just try to get rid of you as quickly as possible.

Their are some great sellers on Etsy, but there are also some really unscrupulous individuals that should be avoided at all costs. You will not be supported when things go wrong customer services are dismissive and try to deflect and confuse your statements. The inept way they handle things is enough to give you a nervous breakdown!

Etsy while seeking reviews, will not post a negative one. What's the point if you can't warn others about a bad experience? This is dishonest and encourages less than honest sellers. No more shopping Etsy!

Etsy temporarily suspended my account for a "Suspicious Login" and they will not respond to my emails asking for help. This sites customer service is an absolute dumpster fire.

Har skrevet med dem via deres help request, men de er sløve til at svare. Da de endelig svarede bad de mig sende billeder. Det har jeg gjort men de har ikke svaret siden... der er gået 2 mdr!!!

Ich habe leider schlechte Erfahrungen als Verkäufer und Käufer auf Etsy gesammelt und kann dir von diesem Marktplatz nur abraten, wenn du Wert auf guten Service legst. Zwischen dem 13. August und dem 27. September 2022 versuchte ich dem Kundenservice von Etsy in mehr als 10 E-Mails einen Webseitenfehler zu beschreiben, der mich daran hinderte, die Webseite uneingeschränkt zu benutzen. Das Problem wurde nicht ansatzweise von den Mitarbeitern gelöst.

Ich hatte Etsy mehrfach wegen eines Systemfehlers in meinem Benutzerprofil angeschrieben. Der Fehler verhinderte, dass ich mein Konto mithilfe einer SMS verifizieren konnte. Ohne die Verifizierung konnte ich mein Konto bei Etsy weder für den Einkauf noch den Verkauf nutzen. Laut des Fehlers hatte ich angeblich schon zu oft versucht, meine Identität zu bestätigen, sodass eine erneute Verifizierung durch mich erst wieder nach 24 Stunden möglich gewesen wäre. Ich bat also die Mitarbeiter, diesen Fehler zu beseitigen und den Zähler für Verifizierungsversuche auf null zurückzusetzen. Die Mitarbeiter antworteten mir allerdings immer ausweichend, dass ich eine Probeüberweisung nicht berücksichtigt hätte und den überwiesenen Cent-Betrag in meiner Zahlungsverwaltung nachtragen müsse. Schlussendlich kam ich nicht weiter und löschte mein Benutzerkonto ganz, in der Hoffnung, mich später wieder registrieren zu können. Nach wenigen Tagen versuchte ich ein neues Konto bei Etsy einzurichten. Zu meiner Überraschung wurde mein Versuch aber gleich im Keim erstickt, als die Fehlermeldung auftauchte, dass meine E-Mail-Adresse bereits in Verwendung sei und die Registrierung deswegen nicht zu Ende geführt werden könne. Offensichtlich behält sich Etsy das Recht vor, persönliche Daten nicht vollständig zu löschen.

Fazit: Wer von einem Unternehmen wirklich wertgeschätzt werden möchte, sollte sich nicht bei Etsy registrieren, sondern lieber HändlerInnen in der eigenen Stadt unterstützen.
