I've just used these guys as wanted to change provider and needed to unlock phone, spoke to Vodafone to tell them what I was trying to do, didn't tell me they could do for free, so was very anoded with them as didn't really explain to me what I needed to do and then looked on Internet to see how you do this, plenty of companies out there all covering same service so thought I was doing the wright thing charge you price of £11.99 to unlock and then want more, problem is youve already paid some so what do you do, walk away or pay the £26.99 they then ask for. Any did pay as had no signal at time and phone was out of action but did then work and all sorted in 1 hour. My real problem is with Vodafone but these guys take advantage 😫

They claim to unlock your phone for a modest fee of £11.99. They then require a further £48.99.
You are supplied with unlock codes that do not match the instructions given to unlock the phone. If you complain they demand £34 to address each complaint.
My bill is £119.00 or they they have threatened to block my phone and make it unusable. What do you think??

They are SCAMMER! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They will make you believe they are working in the background and after some days to make it believable, they will take some time before they will advise you they cannot unlock your phone and your phone is on the blacklist when you are the owner of the phone.

Had nothing but problems trying to unlock a phone my son had been given to use. Initially stated that a payment of 11.99 would unlock the phone. Payed the 11.99 to then be informed that a further payment of 26.99 will complete the unlocking. They provided me with a code that did not work. Sent an email to be then told it should have worked. Ended up getting a SIM card for the provider the phone was already unlocked to. Raised a dispute with my bank who are going to refund me. Then recieved an email from Express unlock stating that I now owe them 69.60 and if said amount is not paid within 7 days they will black list the phone so it is unusable. Luckily enough I have contacted the current service provider who have informed me that they can undo the blacklisting if it does happen. Absolutely fuming DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

This is a sham.

After waiting for a week, they refunded me with a credit note that can only be used on their website.

I am in the process of filing a chargeback claim with my financial institution as this is a straight-forward fraud.

Do not use these guys!!! I purchased their £11.98 eligibility check and it stated all fine and they'd be able to unlock my phone in no time at all. At no point did they state due to it being a Huawei they'd take longer or need more time. So I proceeded. After 2 weeks I kept emailing as I needed this phone unlocked for my niece to use on a school trip but they simply kept stating they needed more time. Everytime I emailed I'd get an Anna email back sending me an essay on why they hadn't unlocked it and due to it being huaweii it was more complicated and that it was 99% complete. It stayed like that for 3 weeks. Finally I asked for a refund and they agreed to do this yet I am still waiting for that too!!! Every email I send gets an essay back repeating the same message without any results and now I have to call my bank to have these charges reversed. These people are con men!!! DO NOT USE THEM. They take your money and state a few hours to unlock yet I am one month on and still fighting to get my £26 back that they promised. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!

Paid what I thought was a fairly reasonable price of £11.99 for the eligibility check to then get a request for £26.00 for the standard unlock. I should, at that point written off the £11.99 and gone no further. Paid the additional £26.00 on the 7th February. Within a week the progress said that my phone was 99% through the process. Sadly it has been sat at 99% ever since and as I write today on the 12th June it is still there. I have lodged numerous complaints and requested a full refund. The issue, has, allegedly been escalated and passed to Management for a decision and I hear nothing. Back in February this was meant as a quick way to get a phone for my 81 year Father-in-law who was going into hospital for a while. I still hope for a full refund but in the meantime I would suggest looking elsewhere for this service ( if you can call it that!)

I have had exactly the same experience as all the bad reviews for express unlocks, what an idiot I have been. Avoid, avoid,avoid.

shocking company - google should remove them from search results. my unlocking case has been on 3x days 21 hrs for the last 3x weeks - all i keep being told it it can take longer than expected, and the case has been prioritised - but time frame remains the same - just lying to customers. AVOID

AVOID AT ALL COSTS.......total rip off, quick to take your money...... A week later my phone unlocking is still 'pending' £47!!!!!

This company needs shutting down for misleading adverts and fraud. I've never known such crooks to get away with what they do on this scale!

Last year I paid the initial fee to unlock my phone then once I paid this I was then told there was another fee on top of this. I paid that fee as I was desperate for the phone to unlock. After weeks and weeks of chasing it up, they didn't unlock the phone and refused to give a refund. I went through my bank and did a chargeback as the customer service was completely useless.

Anyway after doing some clearing out, I found the phone which I originally wanted unlocked. These scammers have now remotely put a lock on it so I can't even switch the thing on. I will be taking this further through ofcom and trading standards

Beware! They ask for payment of £11, and then tell you it was just for a scan and ask for further £47 to unlock old mobile. Of course won't refund.

I can't believe I fell for this. Why do Google allow ads to sit above the obvious links when you do a search?
I was flustered after a week of hassle and rank poor service re a PAC code transfer from Vodafone and O2. I then find out tonight that I needed a National Unlock Code..Vodafone don't allow discussion, direct you to their website and cut you off. Amongst all this hassle and links (after 4 hrs of time trying to sort today) I later realised I'd fallen into this lots site..when I was charged £12 for the code I didn't think that beyond Vodafone...when I was then asked for £26 more for the next stage I smelt a rat, retraced my steps and realised I'd clicked on an Ad at one stage. DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY!! It is a scam, designed to get money out if you in stages which must be a SCAM. Keep well clear, ensure you are communicating directly with your old service provider.

ExpressUnlocks delivered one of the worst service experiences I've ever encountered. After multiple payments, my iPhone remains locked, and their proposed solution was to demand even more money for a so-called "Premium Service." When I refused, obtaining a refund turned into an absurdly difficult ordeal. This company's approach to customer service is not only disappointing but utterly unacceptable. Steer clear to avoid wasting your time and money.

They tried for 3 weeks to unlock my phone and were unable to. I requested a refund and got told I would receive one. I received a credit not a few days later. I then told them that I wanted a refund not a credit not. Lot's of apoligies and a message saying I would get one.

3 weeks later and still no refund. messaged yet again telling them I wanted one.

Seriously, just do not use. They are incapable of doing what they advertise and will just try and kick the can down the road hoping you give up. Terrible terrible company.

They are indeed a scam. They will first “run” an eligibility check. Then will tell you your phone is good to go for unlocking and it will be "instantly unlocked" but will charge you double. then Viola after “pretending” to work with multiple “options” to unlock your phone that will take them 4 hours, after 2 hours, they will tell you they can't unlock it unless you pay them 5 times more than the original cost and they will again tell you it's "100% guarantee" it will be unlocked or they will "refund" it back to you, etc etc. Can't believe I fell for it... That unlock was supposed to be a gift to a loved one of mine and now it's ruined. Another person's shattered dream, Another person's gain... It's okay, they may become rich in this life but they will get what they deserve in the next… I still believed in Karma... We all expire, and no one lasts forever. It's just funny they are proud that they feed their family money from fraud. Kindly look for Google search console website to mass report their website so that they will be excluded in the search result engine of Google. And please DON'T believe those phony reviews you're seeing on their website! even those multiple pop-ups on the left side telling you that a successful unlock has been made, those are charades, props! And also please search them on Google Search bar and once you see their Sponsored Ad, click Report Ad. Doing Mass reporting will help shut down Fraud websites like these from harming other innocent individuals. Thank you all

Scammer don't try sending money you cannot refund it beware to this company

If I could leave ZERO stars, I would! I feel so stupid for paying these thieves. Same story as other victims here. First you pay $28.99 to “unlock” phone. Then, they run a fake “check” to see if phone is “eligible.” Then, they charge another $63 to give you the BS codes that do nothing. Then, they tell you they’ll have to unlock it with a “USB connection” for another $150! I finally saw it was a scam and didn’t give them the $150 or another cent! Buyer beware..
