Here is the email thread. People can read for themselves to determine if $5 is adequate compensation & if Eyecandys adhered to their refund policy:

EYECANDYS REFUND POLICY FROM WEBSITE:
Please note that items on sale or purchased with a coupon code are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.

Items in original condition (unopened, unmarked and unused) can be returned for a partial refund.

You may request the refund to be issued to the original credit card used or as store credit.
Returns are subject to a flat $8 restocking fee.
EyeCandy's must be contacted within 10 working days of the posted delivery date documented on the online postal service or courier tracking system.
Return shipping reimbursement is currently unavailable. Reimbursement for original shipping fees is unavailable.
Returned items must be in original, unopened condition, including tags, booklets, labels, stickers and any other packaging materials. Contact lenses stored in vials must have the seals intact and unbroken.
The customer is responsible for the shipping fees back to EyeCandys. Please ship whatever shipping method you prefer. EyeCandy's strongly recommends adding delivery confirmation and/or signature confirmation to all return packages as EyeCandys is not responsible for any packages lost in the mail. It is the customer's responsibility to research any lost package shipped back to EyeCandys that may have been lost in the mail stream.
Please contact us with your order ID for the return address.
Upon receiving your returned ordered and checking the items are in returnable condition, the refund/store credit will be issued within 14 working days. For exchanges, the customer will be invoiced for regular shipping fees (US$10 for standard shipping, courier shipping at calculated rate) and any other price differential incurred. Exchanged items will be despatched 5 business days of receiving payment. Store credit must be used at the time of purchase and may not be applied towards an existing/previous order.
Under no circumstances can items with opened packaging be returned for a refund or exchange.

MY ORIGINAL REVIEW:
This company is fraud. Their contact lense colors are enhanced on their website. The actual lense colors are so muted, they can't be seen on the eye. When I asked for a refund, PER THEIR REFUND POLICY, they denied, then ghosted me. I am very unsatisfied with their product AND customer service!

May 26, 2025, 11:06 PM EDT – We responded the same day, explaining that due to the nature of colored contacts, color perception varies based on lighting, iris color, and screen settings. As per our policy, we do not offer refunds or exchanges for opened products unless the item received was incorrect. However, we acknowledged your dissatisfaction and issued a $5 discount code as a goodwill gesture toward your next order.

May 29, 2025, 5:27 PM EDT – You replied, citing our return policy.

May 29, 2025, 11:10 PM EDT – We promptly responded again with the return instructions and return shipping address for the three unopened lenses, in accordance with our policy for items in original, sealed condition.

To clarify:

The $5 voucher was not a refund, but a token of goodwill specifically for the opened lenses that did not meet your expectations.

The three unopened pairs are eligible for a partial refund once returned, as outlined in our policy and communicated to you.

We understand your frustration, but we did not “ghost” you. Our replies were timely, clear, and in full alignment with our published return policy. We remain happy to process the partial refund for the unopened items once they are returned to us.

Great experience!

The shipping was timely, the contacts were in great condition, and they're very responsive. One of the contacts I received didn't match my order, so I emailed them with pics, and they mailed my correct contact the next day free of charge (as deserved). I definitely recommend that you buy your contacts from here for peace of mind.

These are such an amazing light beige color that works really well on dark eyes. I have natural dark brown eyes and these contacts are very opaque. The design makes the color change look natural and lightens my eyes very well. They are beautiful. I would purchase again.

The contacts are generally pretty good

The contacts are generally pretty good. It gives a very subtle blue color. I do feel like the lens sometimes do want to come loose, but it generally holds throughout the day. All in all, very comfortable.
Customer service responds at a reasonable turnaround time. If you do order, make sure you give yourself about 2 weeks to make sure you receive the contacts prior to when you need it.

One of the most horrible online…

One of the most horrible online experiences of my life!
I submitted an order for colored contact lenses on February 1, 2025. They have no charge for shipping for orders over $65.00 US. They also offer 3 day free for orders over $190.00, but that was above my budget. I was so pleased that I could order prescription colored lenses at reasonable prices as through "1-800-CONTACTS" they were prohibitively expenses. Even my regular prescription which is multi-focal lenses is very pricey. I had ordered colored contacts online before with another company, it wasn't a bad experience, although I realized after receipt, they were geared toward dark brown eyes. Eyecandys had a better price and a good selection.
WHAT A BAD CHOICE!
Again, the order was placed on Feb.1 of 2025. as of Feb. 19, I had still not received the package. There was NO answer to multiple requests for information. Until I irritably responded to an advertisement in an email did I get a reply. They advised that there had been an "issue at customs" and my order was being "re-prepared." Until then, there had been no information that my order was coming from a location outside of the US (most likely China.) I immediately replied "You haven't even SENT it yet??" This is almost 3 weeks since originally ordered. I advised that I frequently place and receive orders from China (possibly one of the more difficult places from which to receive orders) in LESS THAN 3 weeks, frequently in less than 2 weeks.
As of March 6, the order had still not arrived. As I had been following the tracking information now under the auspices of USPS, the order was still at a warehouse in California. I filed a dispute with PayPal. Then I heard from this company after over a month, claiming the order had been delivered on March 3. (It had not) They asked that I check the area around our porch, ask neighbors, etc. And if the order was located, would I withdraw the PayPal dispute. I replied that I would not. That after waiting for this order for over a month and it had not arrive, I would pursue the dispute. The dispute was resolved by PayPal in my favor.
The complete ineptitude of this company, the lack of customer service including any offer of recompense for the delay in arrival, as well as basically placing the blame on me for losing the order.
If I could rate this experience and this company at zero stars, I would. I recommend that nobody patronize this company.

To clarify: your original order did encounter a customs delay, which unfortunately can happen with international shipments. Once we were notified of the issue, we arranged a replacement shipment at no extra cost. According to USPS tracking, that replacement was delivered on March 3rd to the address provided at checkout.

We understand how frustrating delays and delivery issues can be, which is why we also offered to resend the package again, even after the replacement showed as delivered. While you chose to proceed with a PayPal dispute instead, we respected your decision and provided all the relevant documentation.

We're sorry that this situation left you feeling disappointed. Our goal is always to resolve issues quickly and fairly, and we regret that this outcome wasn’t what you were hoping for.

Lied about material. Promised refund which I’ve not recieved.

I’m writing this review on the 7th of April. I ordered a set of innovision contact lenses from them because they listed the material as silicone hydrogel. When looking for pictures of the lenses from Google I looked at another seller and I noticed they listed the material as tetrafilcon which isn’t a silicon hydrogel. So I checked innovisions website and they don’t make silicon hydrogel lenses.

I contacted eyecandy support and they presented their 8 hour cancellation policy which is insane and actually violates the law in the UK. They tried to argue that they were silicon hydrogel even though the manufacturer and every other website lists it as tetrafilcon. I told them I can’t wear tetrafilcon because it damages my eyes. And after a lot of arguing they agreed to refund me. It will be 3 weeks in 2 days and I’ve yet to receive my refund. It’s absolutely shocking. I’ve opened a dispute with my bank.

Edit: After slating them on here I get an email saying they finally processed my refund bare in mind that they said the refund was processed on the 19th of March. Luckily my bank has notified me that they have processed the refund so I know I’m getting my money back. Overall experience is terrible. They lie about the materials which is a health risk, they lie about refunds, they offer illegal refund policies. So save your money and most importantly save your eyes by not buying from this company.

Corneal Ulcers

I had to go to an ophthalmologist after wearing a new pair of eye candy contacts for two days and now have corneal ulcers. The doctor told me to never buy these contacts again as they could damage your vision long-term. I am an avid colored contact user but these do not last and turn your eyes red. Now I am under medical care to treat the ulcers in my eyes!

I am seeing the response from eye candy, and my lenses were brand new, only worn twice, and I have a long history of wearing colored contacts so I do know of appropriate storage and care protocols.

Incredible Comfort!

These are the best coloured contacts I have ever worn. If you are missing the discontinued FreshLook Colors these are the contacts you are looking for. I love the no limbal ring! I have tried several others and have wasted so much money. I tried these not expecting them to be so good but in fact I wore them all day and forgot I had them on! Don’t look any further! No dryness, not itchy, you cannot feel you are wearing them.

Order was lost during shipping

I had purchased a pair of contact lens but unfortunately due to postal strike my order was lost during transport. I informed customer service and they replied within a couple of days and offered to replace the lost my order, no questions asked. The item arrived in a couple of weeks. I have to say I am very impressed and satisfied with the level of customer care from eye candy. Thank you.
