Fibrus muck up

We didn't get what we ask for so now have to wait until 20th of June before we are set up properly. We are left with no TV because your employee didn't follow instructions.

I’ve had the Wi-Fi for a couple of…

I’ve had the Wi-Fi for a couple of weeks now, and it’s working perfectly. The app is very easy to use and makes managing the network simple and straightforward.

I signed up with Fibrus after being offered a buyout from my previous provider. That process is still ongoing. Unfortunately, the one-click system that was supposed to notify my current provider didn’t work, so I had to contact them myself. However, the process has been fairly straightforward so far.

The installation itself was quick and easy once the engineers arrived, taking around an hour to complete. The only significant issue I experienced was that the engineers initially installed the service in the wrong house within my estate. This was quite surprising, as the installation was completed at another property before the mistake was discovered. While it was certainly an inconvenient mix-up and caused some concern at the time, it appeared to be a genuine misunderstanding rather than negligence on the part of the engineers. The fact that the resident at the other property allowed the installation to proceed likely contributed to the confusion. Once the error was identified, it was resolved and my installation went ahead without any further problems.

One downside was the lack of flexibility around installation appointments, as weekend and evening slots were not available. This meant I had to take time off work to be at home for the installation. However, the engineers arrived on time and completed the work efficiently.

Overall, I’m very happy with the Wi-Fi so far. The service has been reliable, the app is excellent, and despite the unusual installation mix-up, the overall process has been straightforward and positive.

Outstanding service and lightning-fast speeds! I switched to Fibrus after struggling with my previous provider, and I couldn't be happier. The entire process—from speaking with the sales team to having the full fibre installed—was absolutely seamless.
The engineers who came to my home were incredibly professional, tidy, and took the time to explain how everything worked before they left. Since getting connected, the broadband has been rock-solid. My download speeds have skyrocketed, and I've experienced zero buffering or dropouts, even with multiple devices streaming at the same time

Very disappointed with Fibrus.

Very disappointed with Fibrus.
I have been a customer for around 2½ years and have been paying £50 per month for broadband. I contacted the company previously to explain that I was struggling financially, they could only drop it to 39.99.
After deciding to leave, I was suddenly offered a cheaper package at 34.99, which was frustrating as this could have been offered when I first raised concerns about the cost.
What upset me most was the way my cancellation was handled. I explained that my new provider would not be active until 19 June and that disconnecting my service would leave me and my daughter without internet access at home. Despite explaining this, I felt my concerns were dismissed and I was simply told to return the equipment.
As a long-standing customer, I expected better communication, more understanding and a genuine effort to help. Unfortunately, my experience left me feeling undervalued and disappointed.

Very disappointed with service or lack of it!…

You installed Fibrus yesterday then you contacted BT to cut off our landline. I cannot contact anyone today as your number either doesn’t work or is busy. Very disappointed and feel like returning to another supplier. I was told it would be 10 days before switching over the landline. We are pensioners and one is vulnerable regarding health condition and we depend on our landline. The installers were brilliant and efficient which is more than can be said of your Admin. Would appreciate a call on my mobile from someone who is going to sort this out. Thank you

Nightmare!…

Fibrus installed yesterday to replace BT. Discovered after the fitter (Caobhin) departed to pick up his new car that we had no Sky Multiroom and smart devices not working. I phoned Customer Services earlier to say & Michael advised if I plugged an Ethernet cable into an eero and the Sky mini box Sky would work. It didn’t and it hasn’t.

Now I have no internet connection on my main TV. Each time I reset it, it kicks the connection out. Customer Services is now closed. Absolute shambles!

Issues with Sky Q Multiroom and connected smart devices can occasionally occur when switching broadband providers. One troubleshooting step that often resolves this is disabling the WiFi hotspot on the main Sky Q box, as this can interfere with the connection between your Sky devices and the new network.

If this doesn't resolve the issue, we would recommend contacting Sky directly. This is a common issue with Sky Q systems, and Sky can provide Sky Boosters where required to help maintain a stable connection between the main and mini boxes and prevent them from disconnecting from the internet.

We appreciate how frustrating this situation has been and apologise for the inconvenience caused. We hope you're able to get everything connected and running smoothly as soon as possible.
