The conection and set up all went well…

The conection and set up all went well the only issue i have is the price to sign up is now half the price it was when i signed up to fibrus
This makes me feel like ive been conned into signing up at this price

Fibrus fibreoptic installation.

Fibrus administration (James at Hyperfast) managed to arrange an installation appointment with Holm Networks (the fibreoptic cable installer) at short notice. The two Holm Networks operators (Martin and Matty) worked hard, in rainy conditions outside, to our time deadline on the day to get our Fibrus connection up and running.

Absolutely dreadful experience with Fibrus.

Fibrus engineers were installing fibre for a neighbour on my street and somehow managed to disconnect my own fibre connection, leaving me without internet for two days. I work from home and the mobile signal in my area is extremely poor, so I couldn’t even use 4G as a backup. This outage was caused entirely by Fibrus, making the situation even more frustrating.

When I contacted customer services, I spoke to an agent called Aaron. After explaining that I work from home and had no internet, his advice was to make alternative arrangements with family, friends, or an office. I found this response completely unacceptable given that Fibrus had caused the issue in the first place. Throughout the conversation, there was very little empathy or ownership of the problem.

The only positive aspect of this experience was the engineers who eventually attended. They were professional, helpful, and quickly identified that the fibre cable had been installed with too little slack, causing it to be pulled back from the box. They replaced it with a more suitable cable and restored my service.

Unfortunately, good engineers cannot make up for poor customer service. I’ve had disappointing experiences with Fibrus support before, but this one really takes the biscuit. Being left without internet for two days and effectively being told to find somewhere else to work is simply not good enough.

I’ve already started looking at alternative providers and will be leaving Fibrus as soon as my contract ends

Great no nonsense service

Great no nonsense service. Got an installation appointment within a week. The engineers were brilliant and very professional. We were installed and connected in approximately 50 mins. Very satisfied customer.
