Good coverage of Worcestershire registers. Easy to use app and on the computer. Great you can move along the filmstrip to earlier and later pages. App could be improved by allowing the same scrolling through the register from the page you open on the phone app. Confusing where membership is when first setting up.

Persistance, tenacity, creativity and system, are the main stays, in this game, as Well as the acceptance of the fact, that record keepers of the past, were not as deeply tied to exact dates, spelling and system, as we may be.
Which makes childrens names just as valuable as dates, when researching and comparing “facts” ….!!..

We would recommend narrowing to a specific type of record if you wish to search using parent names, for example if you restrict the searches to baptisms this will allow you to add parents names in the search.

The search function on FMP is heaps…
The search function on FMP is heaps better than at least one of the major competitors (maybe 100 choices versus many million poor matches on that other site). FMP certainly helped me with exploring my British history, though I've had to rely on "that other site" for my more recent Australian results

Digitized records
Whenever I use Find My Past I can usually find the records I’m looking for most of the time. Also I like that they digitize the Parish records which gives me the option of printing them for my “paper” files. Thank you for the wonderful work.

I dont like web sites that lure you in…
I dont like web sites that lure you in with constant emails and as soon as you touch a button they go immediately to a payment screen. No consideration for where the customer is at in their Genealogical journey.

I found my gggrandmother in your records. I had liiked in Ireland and Scotland previously for 40 yrs then you sent me a message and when I checked it yes it was her on her baptism in Ireland residence 43rd Regiment of Foot.

I'm satisfied!
Immediately, I can see how many 'hits' there are - great. However, I'd like to see many more scans of original records, which I prefer, rather than transcriptions. I want to be able to read the record for myself because, from time to time, I've found errors in transcriptions. Additionally, for example, original marriage records provide names of witnesses and whether or not each of the persons getting married was literate inasmuch as they've signed their name or 'signed' with their mark of a cross. I like your ready access to old newspapers and I like the fact that you're British-owned.

I have had an Ancestry.com account for…
I have had an Ancestry.com account for a year but had trouble tracking down a set of Great Grandparents. I found them quite quickly with Find My Past. The biggest trouble is I now spend way too much time going through the newspaper data base finding very interesting articles about my distant relatives
