Avoid if you want a modern heating solution. Our house came with a Firebird HP but given a choice we would of looked else where.
No mobile app to control the heatpump - no the iletcomfort app isn't a real app.
Plenty of good brands to choose from.

I was asked 6 weeks ago by firebird to remove this post till they fixed my problem
6 weeks on no one has contacted me
I cannot stress enough not to buy one of these boilers
Their after care service is horrific
All they care about is getting your money
I’ve had my boiler for just 3 years, and it’s been nothing short of a nightmare. Despite having a 2-year warranty, I’ve had to deal with 7 engineer visits and countless replacements, including multiple vital components and 3 new timers. The boiler has been unreliable from the start, constantly breaking down and causing major disruptions leaving me with out heat or water for weeks on occasions.
On top of that, the customer service is atrocious. I’ve repeatedly been given misinformation, with different representatives contradicting each other and failing to resolve issues. The communication is poor, and getting through to someone who can actually help is a battle. This experience has been extremely frustrating, and I wouldn’t recommend this boiler to anyone. Stay away if you value your time, money, and sanity!
After it breaking down once again and the company refusing to fix it under warranty I had to use my own independent plumber who has just billed me £470 for parts that I am 99% certain have allegedly been replaced !!!

I’m in the U.K. with a firebird range cooker. This is a review of firebird I.e. and NOT firebird U.K.
My firebird range cooker is seven years old. The heat boards need replacing every six years or bits start to fall off causing the oven to stop working. I purchased the oven new and for the first three years everything was fine. Then the company that sold me the cooker stopped supporting firebird with no other within 150 miles. Luckily I have an ex employee that services it in his free time. I got nowhere trying to get boards replaced with firebird U.K. as I was not allowed to talk to their tech dept. I contracted firebird ire who were wonderful. They got a complete replacement kit together for me at a reasonable price and sorted customs etc. They even posted a memory stick video showing replacement process. They were a wonderful bunch and I’m so grateful. Definitely five stars.
Very disappointed to receive a call looking for payment for two items, which I was told during a call last week, would be sent out free of charge. The manual which came with the burner stated these two parts were included but neither was. The online manual and paper manual are at odds in several aspects. I have to say Jerry is a gentleman, and was exceptionally helpful in recommending the exact two items needed, this is much appreciated. Unfortunately Patrick does not have the same focus on customer service. I will update this review if a positive outcome occurs.
Edit: Thanks Patrick for providing the parts needed to get the burner up and running, all going great now.
Terrible backup service. I have a Firebird range cooker and have had ongoing endless problems. Cooker hasn't worked for last 4 months. Virtually no service agents. Firebird won't return my calls.
I definitely do not recommend them.
If I hear from them I'll post it here.

Have a firebird burner with an elco control box that is not working and only 2 yes old.trying to get firebird ireland to contact me to discuss it and not a word back.
Very bad customer service.

I am writing this review on behalf of my mother - her Firebird boiler stopped working and unfortunately she called out someone who was on google who ended up scamming her for £230! I then rang Firebird and spoke to Matthew who was fantastic. I explained the situation and the fault and between him and another company we got the fault fixed and Firebird were super generous to my mother and helped with the cost of parts. The customer service was excellent and I highly recomment them. Thank you Firebird team and in particular Matthew.
I’m writing this on behalf of my step mother. I had returned home urgently to be with my father during his last hours with us and to support my step mother in any way possible.
The worry of the faulty boiler got to her and, although still in deep pain from her loss, she contacted Firebird for assistance.
I came through to the room to catch the conversation (on speaker), with Matthew finalising reassuring details on how they will immediately help. The service in relation to the boiler was faultless, but what astonished me and anyone else with a heart, was how beautifully kind and understanding Matthew was. He took the time after hours to give very sincere comfort and advice to my step mum, his advice on how to get through this difficult time with going out to places new, being around friends and family, eating healthy and generally honest advice was probably the best 20 minute therapy session she could ever have!
I stood in tears from the kindness of this truly wonderful gentleman and thank him for taking the time to help in a very big way.
Oh, and of course, the boiler was fixed and is working fault free from the next day.
Mark thanks so much for your help with the wood burner. Firebird were excellent to deal with. From buying it, to delivery and Fergal who installed it and left the house impeccable. It just looks amazing. Fergal even advised on the fireplace and it is just georgous. My brother is installing the old fireplace in his home so everything was recycled for the environment. Have a Firebird Oil Boiler with a 10 year gaurantee. Have always been politely dealt with by Mathew in customer services and particularly Brian who is excellent and has always seen to any problems straight away. Brain works with efficiency and always sees to any issue. He leaves everything clean and tidy. Very very happy 😊
I have a Firebird combi oil fired boiler, which is still covered under a 10 year guarantee. Last week it stoped working, after calling Firebird support, I was provided with a Service Engineer who got the boiler working again. There were some hickups along the way, but the support I got from the service team (Matthew) was excelent, which is why I have taken the time to complete this review.
Although out of guarantee, when our Firebird combi boiler stopped working on two occasions recently, the manager of the service department was able to assist me, and even supplied parts foc to effect a prompt repair by our local company.
I rated this 5 star because that is the service I received from Firebird.
Really helpful company sorted a diverter valve out for me even though they were on back order cannot praise enough and Matt in customer service is a star
