I cannot speak too highly of the service provided by Forbes - from initial contact through to court when Gareth Price was absolutely brilliant in putting across my son's case resulting in a lesser penalty than anticipated. I had provided a lot of information myself and it was really impressive that Gareth had studied this and used it in court. Obviously the main thing was that he was outstanding as an advocate in court and also communicated with us really effectively throughout the process.

We had been thinking for years that we needed to make wills. The process with Forbes Solicitors, despite Covid restrictions, was surprisingly easy. Solicitor Elizabeth Whitaker discussed our wishes with us over the phone and then drew up the wills which we signed at home in the presence of two witnesses. Forbes Solicitors came highly recommended by my daughter in law and I must say they have not disappointed. During the whole progress the procedure has been hampered because of the Covid pandemic and it’s necessary health restrictions. The process has been carried out with efficiency and clarity even though hampered by communication difficulties. A special mention for Madiha Rehman (our main avenue of communication) who has been in our opinion wonderful throughout the process and has demonstrated a remarkable patience with us as we have very limited IT knowledge, she has guided us throughout this matter.

The whole process of dealing with Forbes Solicitors from the beginning to end was dealt with professionally and friendly. I would recommend them anytime.

Overall a good experience however communication and relationship management could have been better, accepting that covid has affected the business but this should not be used as an excuse for high quality comms and managing the relationship.

A suggestion: offer clients a premium house conveyancing service at greater cost. It is small in the whole and would differentiate the practice by allocating a relationship individual in the firm to manage the process for clients. It also may help you to offer to employees of key clients. One for you to consider.

We recently needed a solicitor, after making a few phone enquiries we chose Forbes because of their positive and enthusiastic attitude on the phone. It was a difficult case that produced many hurdles. The solicitor and her assistants were professional and met each hurdle head on. We were regularly updated on progress and they happy to listen to any suggestions that we may of had. I will definitely use them again if the need arises.
