G NETWORK had assigned Lewis (I forgot to ask his surname) to do an installation for us. Lewis
1. Called me to alert me about his arrival time.
2. Arrived on time (as he anticipated).
3. Asked me questions about the task to familiarise himself with the site, the equipment needed for installation, and the tools to complete his task.
4. he set to work as soon as he reviewed the site and installation matters.
5. He worked without a break, guiding me through almost every step of the way.
6. He answered my questions very patiently.
7. he has the friendliest disposition and a customer-assisting personality.
Other field technicians, engineers, and customer service individuals ought to learn from him about how to prioritise customers' requests. Thank you, G Network and thank you Lewis.

A friend in need is a friend indeed
My experience with G.Network ended up teaching me something more useful than whether an ISP can provide a fast fibre connection when everything is working normally.
It showed me what the company does when something goes badly wrong.
I had a serious outage that lasted far too long, and the initial support process clearly failed. I was frustrated enough to escalate the issue to senior management.
What happened next completely changed my view of the company.
Ed personally took ownership of the case, acknowledged that the handling had fallen below G.Network’s standards, involved the right support and engineering people, and arranged an engineer immediately. The engineer arrived the following morning and fixed the actual fault — which turned out to be in G.Network’s equipment in the building rather than anything inside my flat.
They then went further. G.Network investigated why my earlier requests had disappeared, identified a bug in the My Account support workflow, and told me that a fix was being put into a subsequent release. They also helped untangle a separate One Touch Switch problem with my previous provider.
This matters to me more than a company pretending that failures never happen.
A friend in need is a friend indeed. Systems break. Fibre breaks. Processes fail. The real test is whether people take responsibility when they do.
G.Network did.
Special thanks to Ed, Ahmed, and the engineer who attended. Once the issue reached the right people, the response was fast, human, transparent and effective.
This story could very easily have ended as a one-star review. Instead, the way G.Network owned the problem, fixed it, investigated the underlying process failure and followed up afterwards turned it into a genuine five-star experience.
They did not earn five stars because nothing went wrong. They earned them because of what they did when it did.

Installers disrespectful of property
Two of my neighbours (victorian conversion building) have installed G network this year. Both times, the installers were completely disrespectful of our property. Both have stepped on our plant beds with thick boots and destroyed plants. One of them used a crowbar-like thing to keep the door of the building open and left permanent holes in it. They don’t clean their shoes on the mat and leave the carpet of the building all dirty.
Please do instruct your installers on respecting other people’s property.
This happened near Streatham Hill.
