Refund process is bad. Unprofessional company.

Refund process is bad. The airline has cancelled the flight. The airline has given the refund of the entire booking to Goibibo yet Goibibo crooks are eating money and cutting money under randoms charges and refunding much less. Their customer support number is dead. Their bot is worst in the world. That stupid bot cant understand a thing, cant take action and wont transfer to agent which is perfect for a cheating company. Be pathetic and dont have any channels for the customer to reach out.

Booked a hotel in Haldwani via Goibibo

Booked a hotel in Haldwani via Goibibo. On arrival, the property told me it has been closed for a long time and they already informed Goibibo to remove it. Customer care promised a callback in 45 mins but never called. Agents disconnected my calls 3 times. Agent “Ranjan” was rude, lied that the hotel is operational, and refused escalation or cancellation. I was stranded from 5:30 PM to 2:41 AM after paying. Worst experience ever. Full refund pending. Avoid booking hotels here.

I booked a hotel in Haldwani for April 15, 2026 via Goibibo, Booking ID: [XXXXX].

When I reached at 5:25 PM and called the hotel number on the voucher (+91 124 458 8630), they said the hotel has been closed for months and Goibibo was already notified to delist it. I paid Goibibo, so they asked me to contact you for refund.

What followed was shocking:
1. Goibibo agent promised a callback in 45 minutes. No call came.
2. My next 2 calls were disconnected by agents without resolution.
3. Agent Ranjan was extremely unprofessional. He claimed I called the wrong hotel even though the number is on Goibibo’s voucher. He falsely insisted the hotel is running and refused to cancel or escalate.
4. From 5:30 PM to 2:41 AM I got zero help while stranded on the road after paying.

Issues: Listing non-existent hotels, no accountability, call disconnections, lying agents, and no escalation. Still waiting for my refund and compensation.

I strongly advise against using Goibibo for hotel bookings. The app cannot be trusted for critical travel.

I have been waiting for my refund for…

I have been waiting for my refund for the past 45 days, and this has been an extremely frustrating experience. Every time I contact customer service, I am told that the refund will be processed within 24–48 hours. However, this has been repeated multiple times with no actual resolution, and I still have not received my money.

This is completely unacceptable and reflects very poorly on your service. If you are unable to handle customer requests properly, you should not be in business. Stop misleading customers with false promises and delays, and take responsibility for resolving this issue immediately.

I expect my refund to be processed without any further delay.

I booked a hotel at Haridwar in Feb 2026 that was cancelled. Goibibo initiated the refund of Rs 6824. This amount never got credited to my bank account . Several emails were written they keep on repeating the same thing again and again without resolution. No one knows who is replying what as different people reply to my email at different times.
It has been a time wasting experience for me. No resolution! They don’t care

I will not give even 1 star I had to travel by due to medical emergency I lost my dad I have shared all the relevant documentation multiple time to cancel the flight but this Goibibo team don't help and I shared the details 10 day before my departure but they didn't even share the details and claim to airline for cancellation very bad i lost my father but that was unfortunate but this travel team made mockery out of my situation.

Worst experience with goibibo staff and app

I would like to share my dissatisfaction with room booking experience with Goibibo App and customer care team. I have booked Room in Hotel win way for 3rd April. I had chosen Delux room with breakfast , extra bed , complimentary hi-tea , however the book confirmation says Room only with complimentary upgrade to Delux room sub to availability. I called the customer care team and to my surprise all of them i.e Kunal and Rajan sounded helpless and kept saying i have to contact Hotel for any changes!!!!!!

Is it really logical to contact the hotel for wring booking by Goibibo!! ?
I also rechecked the booking at the same time and saw an price escalation of around INR 400/- (Screenshot attached for reference), I alao offered to upgrade the package with additional INR 400/- , to my surprise customer care executive replied rudely that I have to contact hotel for change.
Why should i contact the hotel when my room is booked from Goibibo and why not your team can discuss with the hotel to add breakfast... What is tye value add here??

The behaviour and approch of the team was not up to the mark and i am completely hurt with the helplessness , unwillingness to support the client.. I had written mails but no one is bothered to act !!

Dear Goibibo Team,

I am writing this review with extreme frustration regarding my pending refund.

I have already received your previous email regarding the issue, but honestly, it feels completely useless because there has been no actual update or action taken from your side. What is the point of sending emails if nothing changes?

This was my first booking experience with your app, and I trusted your service—but now I feel like I have made a big mistake. It seems like customers are being taken for granted, and I feel like a fool for choosing your platform.

How long does it take to process a simple refund? This kind of delay is completely unacceptable. You are testing my patience now. I expect professional service, not excuses and repeated delays.

Let me be very clear:

I need a proper update immediately
I need my refund processed without any further delay

If this issue is not resolved urgently, I will be forced to take further action and make sure others are aware of this poor experience.

This is not the kind of service any customer deserves.

Waiting for a real update, not just another automated reply.
