I recently booked a hotel through Cleartrip using a gift coupon along with my card and wallet balance. During the booking, both the gift coupon amount and the bank payment were deducted immediately, but the hotel booking itself failed. Only the payment was taken — no confirmation, no booking.

When I contacted customer care, the experience was extremely disappointing. There was no proper response, and every time I was told to “contact after one hour” with no real update or solution. There is also no option to rate the service with zero stars; otherwise, I would have selected that.

Cleartrip needs to seriously improve its payment reliability and customer support. A platform handling customer money cannot operate with this level of negligence.

Worst customer support

Worst customer support

I face very difficult to reach customer agent to cancel my flight bookings for one traveller, and I book my ticket with refund policy.

I tried to call the customer support number +97148754545 then, IV call said no agent available, pleas connect with us through WhatsApp +971 50 267 2234.

And in WhatsApp still my request in queue from yesterday onwards, it is literally taking one day time to waiting in queue to connect with a agent, and at same time we need to reply otherwise that chance also we will loose.

At this crisis situation, please advise the people's don't book through clear trip, book the tickets directly with the airline website.

I am very much concerned as this platform has shown extremely unprofessional behavior. After taking payment for my booking (Trip ID 260228249989), I have been trying to contact Clear trip since 1 March 2026 by landline and WhatsApp message to cancel my booking due to the current geopolitical situation. However, there has been no response from this platform, and even the email address is not working. I then approached the relevant airline directly and managed to cancel the tickets. My refund amount has now been with this third-party account for one month. I do not know how I can contact them and obtain the refund. Any one please advise or any govt complaint cell to forward.

It's a real scam

It's a real scam, I don't know if they can be reported to be ban in UAE. They stole people money, they have some internal GHOST supplier as Even AIRLINE pay them back the internal SUPPLIER is their point of contact not direct AIRLINE. So good luck to anyone booking with them. The ticket you book may work or may not, if not don't ask support, accept that you are scammed this time

Cleartrip provided misleading information and failed to disclose important details. The customer service response was unprofessional and insensitive. Please don’t fall into this trap just to save ₹1–3k.

Worst

If I could, I would rate them in negative. They cancelled my flight because I did not respond to them in 3 hours, after they emailed me at 10:44 pm IST. When I called and talked to their team leader, Divyansh Tiwari, he said that they cancelled the airlines because the airlines did not confirm my ticket and again a few minutes later said they cancelled my flight because I did not respond in 3 hours. How do you expect people to respond to you within 3 hours in the middle of the night? You give 3 hours to passengers to respond but very conveniently need 12-24 hours to do anything from your end.

The worst booking platform

The worst booking platfor. I made a bus booking just 15 min before departure, operator was bluffing me with hoax locations (as they had sold my sea to someone else) untill bus was departed. On complaining about it to Cleartrip they were biased towards the operator and didn.t even paid heed to my plea and what all I had suffered clearly pathetic, operaor narration is gospel for them and customer grievance a trash.

Extremely unprofessional and unethical service

Extremely unprofessional and stupid behavior after the airline cancelled flights due to war situations on my booking (Trip ID: 260222239402). Your customer service is completely unresponsive, either on call or email or on WhatsApp which makes the customer helpless. Calls are forever unavailable on all times and directed to WhatsApp where reply is received after 6-7 hours and you close the chat if we don’t respond within 2 minutes.
The only response I am receiving from past 1 month now since flights were cancelled is that you are waiting for airline to respond. We paid to Cleartrip and not direct to airline and it is your sole responsibility to pay back the customer rather than waiting for airline. Will you wait like this hearing such lame excuses if the money was lost from your account?
This is a serious breach of consumer trust, especially for residents of the United Arab Emirates, where such practices are unacceptable. Due to this situation now, I am pursuing full legal action through Consumer Protection to ensure accountability for these fraudulent actions and to protect other consumers from similar exploitation and make sure you pay for the losses.

You never contacted me for this case and all ways to contact you are closed.

Dear Cleartrip Support Team,

I am writing this email with extreme frustration and disappointment regarding my pending refund for a cancelled flight booked through your platform.

I had booked a Dubai to Amritsar flight (Air India Express) for 10th March via your app. Due to the Iran–Israel situation and airport closure in the UAE, the flight was cancelled. At that time, your support team clearly assured me that if I cancel through Cleartrip, I will receive a full refund within 7 days without any deduction.

However, today is 30th March 2026, and it has been more than 22 days, yet I have not received a single dirham of my refund.

This is not just a delay — this is causing serious hardship for me.

I am currently in Dubai with no financial support, as the money I had was used to book this ticket. Because of your delay:

- I am struggling for basic survival (food, stay, daily needs)
- I cannot arrange another ticket to go home for my wedding
- I am under extreme mental stress and uncertainty

You took payment instantly at the time of booking, but now you are failing to honor your own refund commitment.

This is completely unacceptable.

I request you to:

1. Process my full refund immediately
2. Provide a clear update on the status
