This company adds hidden shipping insurance charges, after the order has been placed. I noticed this as soon as I saw the receipt and tried to immediately cancel the order and they refused. Then the product was never delivered so i asked for a refund and again they refused. I was then passed off to the shipping insurance company who also refused to resolve the issue. I was ripped off for $50 for a pair of tennis shoes that were never delivered and they flat out refuse to resolve the issue. Don't be fooled, into purchasing anything from this company, thinking you're helping a "non-profit". You'll be ripped off and they seem to have a very well rehearsed strategy for doing so. This is the first time in my life that I've been ripped off by a retailer that refused to cancel an order immediately after placing it, charges hidden fees after placing the order, never delivered the product & refused to issue a refund.

Does not take pictures of damage to items and prices them like they are not damaged. Priced too high. Not testing and not taking pictures of damage, there's no guarantees. You have 14 days to contact customer service, when they take a week before shipping. Very poor packing, insulting really.
This company sells to the public at high prices, and damaged, yet they treat themselves to nice quality items for close to nothing; I saw two expensive 400.00 dollar drones with three 100.00 dollar batteries each, sell in minutes for 25.00 dollars of listing on the site.
They send you emails about what Goodwill does, but they are NOT Goodwill, they just want to blame the poor and dishonest job they do on people with disabilities who need a job. Why don't you teach them to; take pictures of EVERYTHING good and bad, and TEST the items so the consumer is well informed? They would be learning a marketable trade.
They do not help Goodwill or the people there, they help themselves to as much money and nice things they can.
Goodwill employees could learn; ethical procedures, photography skills, technical skills in testing things. Yet, deception and dishonesty, and taking advantage of consumers is what they are learning, NOT marketable skills.

Bought some stuff looked to be sealed. They could of simply checked and noted. Either that or before shipment someone went thru and looked and packaged back up carefully. I cant return the stuff so out the money.

Extremely disappointed and mad. The beautiful unique vase I bought was totally shattered. Could not even began to repair it!! Shoddy shipping box that was lopsided, weak and very little cushioning!!! Who would ship a 2ft vase without ample protection unless they did not care?

I have bought a number of things from the site, their customer service is non-existent and they randomly price items based on nothing. Worse, they will raise prices on items capriciously presumably to make more money on stuff they get for free!
Their shipping fees are outrageous and have no relation to the actual cost of shipping and they are now charging extra fees to guarantee the items are shipped! All this from an organization that pays its CEO millions but still takes advantage of its employees.

Goodwillfinds is trying to make retail profit on used donated merchandise. It’s getting harder to find anything that is worth buying at Goodwill, quality is lower and the prices are higher. They keep all the good quality items to put In their online store and they have hiked the prices up for the merchandise that does make it to the floor Adding insult Injury, Goodwill will ask you to pay more at the register to help their cause, but the cause is vague and should already be covered with Goodwillfinds online profits. The name Goodwill no longer means what it used to.

Goodwillfinds posts photos of items MANY of these items are NOT AVAILABLE yet,they follow through with the sale and steal your money.Then,when you try to get some info on your order,all of a sudden,the item is "lost,missing,not available".Try to fight for a refund and you will most likely lose.This company is PURE SCAM.They are somehow still allowed to continue to do business online,ripping people off one transaction at a time.SICKENING.

WE Want to start a class action lawsuit against Goodwill Finds, NO Drama, NO hype, Simply stated they are GUILTY OF RETAIL FRAUD! Most these complaints here express that truth!!
1st Major Issue is items so far over priced its surreal, actually its called Avarice, Greed, Rip Off, you got the pictures!
2nd OMG, most the disclosure are sloppy, incomplete, just careless and sooo unprofessional, and forget customer satisfaction, IT DOES NOT EXIST, unless--
3 Rd. You purchase SEEL FOR PROTECTION, but now we are into one of the biggest scams at the Finds outlet, the charges are automatically included into your total, and it is a hassle to remove this add-on!--
4th But what is worse, God help you it you need to make a claim, YOU will pay for return shipping, No courtesy labels, and YOU will not be refunded the original shipping costs, what a scalp job this becomes, crunch the numbers, its a lose lose affair! But Wait:
5th Now The Finds Outfit IS jerking the shipping prices around dramatically, as in over double on some items! I sent two messages to their Ghost Customer Service, no answer, no satisfaction, wow to the 10th power!
6th BE WARNED: Better be far more careful when you deal with this dark retailer: Expect mostly overpriced items, Rarely a full and in depth disclosure, An add on protection gimmick called SEEL that just rakes in millions more for the Finds Outfit, You WILL be taking your chances on what you buy, and most times paying too much for questionable goods! Better forget real Customer Satisfaction, unless of course you are okay with repackaging the item, taking it to a ship center, And paying the fees, OMG, then getting shorted on your return refund!
7th The Moral of the story, BOYCOTT GOODWILL FINDS THIS CHRISTMAS, but don't expect they will notice or even care, they enjoy a never ending cash cow, Donations piling up as you read this complaint! For them, all this FREE merchandise makes a WIN WIN business, But For Us, the Unsuspecting Buyers its LOSE LOSE!

Bought a “lot” of dolls and one doll in the listing ( which was the one I wanted the most btw) was missing in my delivery. I have sent two messages as they have no customer support phone number. No response. SEEL was purchased but if an item does not arrive they cannot help. I’ll never buy again.

Had ordered a PS4 and various video games as a bundle from them in the past, that transaction went rather well. Have tried other transactions since and there's always something wrong with the website to where you cannot finish a transaction. Not sure what's up with this company but when you read the other reviews, they're having problems left and right. Such a shame, was once a great American iconic business. Had contacted them about my inability to finish a purchase a couple of days ago, and have not heard one thing from them since.

Never got my item. 70$ down the drain. They never even gave me shipping information.

Pathetic excuse for an online shopping platform. It takes weeks to find out what happened to your order- only to find that don’t have it anymore. Faceless company with no customer support. This is absurd in this era when customers are used to customer friendly shopping sites. The CEO of goodwill should resign!

Just bought a Serratelli and Resistol
beaver felt hat. Brand new in original packaging. Paid less than $200 for the pair. Retail for each is about $400. I am in awe at the really great deals that I got🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗!!! Sad to see so many bad reviews, but I think a shopper has to really do their homework when purchasing a preowned item.

So GoodwillFinds can be a decent place to find used, vintage, and collectible items. And depending on which actual location is the seller, your merchandise will be packed well. But that is more the exception than the rule, mostly your goods will show up intact but not always.

They also seem to deliberately hide defects in products they are selling and offer vague descriptions. And once you hit the purchase button it's yours. THEY WILL NOT CANCEL ORDERS!!

The final straw for me was the 50% off sale that concludes today. I had 2 items that qualified for the discount and the price adjustment was supposed to apply at checkout. It did not! Their response.time.can take up to 3 days so any kind of.resolutiom would co.e.way too late. And the email titles.for.sales is often misleading and incorrect.

I was forced to file a.complaint with my card company to put a hold on the charge. I do want to pay for my discounted items, but at the proper price. With a no cancel policy and no way to view the items in question after it's purchased it leaves customers in a bad place when trying to plead their case.

I bought a fragile collectible. It arrived in pieces. Although they do have an insurance plan for the cost of the item, they sent it ground from halfway across the country and still charged me $20 for shipping for which I was not compensated. I never again! I spent $20 on aggravation.

You encourage GW to send in items for top dollar which really is a slap to customers in the store, I ordered a robe on gwfinds they shipped it to me, no belt, they taped it with masking tape shut! You along with shopgoodwill are a company full of greed, people donate to help community, you send good stuff in , put junk on the floor at outrageous prices! I will not or will not encourage donating here! You are a rip off filling CEO pockets! I pd 64.00 for the robe should i use shoe laces to tie it shut? You are a disgrace and I wont be back! Shame on your greed! I been burned before! Im a senior and cant afford your prices! Period!

I have NEVER seen anything like this in FOREVER! I'm speechless ... really.

Short version of a long story is that I placed TWO orders for two items. After more than a week of waiting for some activity (shipment, tracking, etc) to happen and after I received a very polite message from customer service that said "just be patient while we're working hard to send these items to you as soon as possible", I finally received another message, one for each order, a copy and paste script, that said "we no longer have these items in our inventory and therefore we are canceling the order".

The most abhorrent bait and switch scheme from a seemingly legit company who is supposed to be in the business of "doing good"! It's the most comedic thing I have ever had to be part of!

Crooks. The entire company. From top to bottom. Abysmal business ethics.

Be aware! If you find a "good" item, some employee will probably snatch it before they ship it out to you! What's left is old junk.

I'm gonna leave a review on every single public site I can get my hands on and I'm in the process of contacting governmental business license authorities because this kind of business can't be legal.

I’d give zero stars if I could. Since their startup in the Fall of 2022, I’ve experienced countless problems with GoodwillFinds. Problems with their joke of a website; their complete lack of response and inept “customer service”; items not as described; breakage and receipt of damaged items; missing items; shipping overcharges; etc. Just one of the many examples… I recently attempted to purchase a women’s skirt suit from their Los Angeles location. When I began the check-out process, the shipping and handling charge to NY from LA for just 2 items of clothing was $77.34! This in addition to the cost of the suit) The 2 items couldn’t weigh more than 2 pounds. Plus GWF clothing is always shipped in soft-paks which means the package weighs as little as possible. GWF is stealing from their customers when they undoubtedly pay FEDEX discounted shipping fees, then gouge their customers and pocket the difference! Needless to say I did not buy the suit. Because of this experience and many others, it’s obvious to me and others that many of GWF procedures and business practices are fraudulent and incompetent. Not only with the shipping fees, but with the items’ prices as well. They receive all of their items for FREE yet price most everything at exorbitant prices.
I WON’T BUY FROM GWF EVER AGAIN AND I ADVISE EVERYONE OUT THERE TO STAY AWAY.

I wish I could give no stars. So the return policy is 7 days after delivery That is if you purchase a return option. I did and the item showed up in horrible condition. So I emailed to support team to get my return label and they took the entire 7 days to even reply to me......So now I paid for return and cannot send it back because its over 7 days. Well it took them 7 days to even answer my email....I will NEVER try to help this place again with purchases. And you should have seen the pants...the only place they needed to be delivered to is the trash. Waist band was completely stretched out. Only someone who is build like humpty humpty can wear them. Ughhhh

I purchased a piece of gold jewelry (small brooch) and a “lot” of vanity items in a single order to their Chicago/Wisconsin location. The jewelry dept. is a separate location, but the site will allow you to order these items together. Everything gets shipped in the same box.

When the box came, the vanity items were in the box but the gold brooch was not. No note, nothing.

I contacted customer support explaining in detail that an item was missing. The response I got back from customer service was “the box was delivered”’. They gave me the fedex tracking number to the box I got with the vanity items. I responded back and explained that was the tracking number for the box I got and asked if the gold pin was mailed separately. No response.
