I have been buying from haybox for awhile now. I cannot fault any of their products. Customer service is perfect. Sam is wonderful and very helpful, very quick with sorting little hiccups that can happen.

I wanted to share how positive an experience I’ve had with Sam from customer services following a delivery driver leaving my Haybox in the rain instead of following instructions to use safe place. Sam responded to my grievance, apologised on behalf of the delivery company and arranged a full replacement of my order - which was delivered by a more reputable courier company the next day. 5 star customer service :)

Have used a variety of Haybox hays and forage over the years and they have all been adored by my rabbits and guinea pigs, quality has always been perfect.

I did have an issue with the new courier DX on a previous order, I contacted Haybox and the response from Sam was amazing, couldn’t have been anymore helpful and subsequently organised for my latest delivery to come via DPD.

As a small animal adopter for over 20 years, I have seen firsthand how much a rabbit’s health and temperament depend on their gut. I’ve tried every hay supplier on the market, but HayBox is truly in a league of its own.

My most recent haul included their Timothy Hay 'Blend' (the 10kg hand-packed box is a game changer), and the quality is exceptional, green, fragrant, and dust-free. Beyond the staples, their forage range is what really sets them apart. My bunnies are currently obsessed with the Dandelion Leaves, Nettle, and the Botanical/Herbal blends. These aren't just treats; they are vital for enrichment and digestive health.

I also highly recommend the Hay Cubes and Dandelion Root Nibbles for keeping them occupied and supporting dental wear.

Choosing a high-quality supplier like HayBox isn't just about feeding; it’s about investing in a stable gut and a long, vibrant life for your pets. It’s rare to find a company that genuinely cares as much as we do as owners. If you want to see your buns truly thrive, this is the place.

My very fussy guinea pigs all love this meadow hay! It's the best quality hay I've found, with long strands and very little dust. The customer service is also excellent; always friendly and very helpful. I wouldn't buy hay from anyone else.

Excellent communication and quickly solved a problem not of their making. The products are great - my house rabbits love them, and have been eating far more hay since I switched to Hay Box (they especially love the hay cookies). Highly recommended.

The hay and straw is wonderful. Sadly Haybox now use DX as a delivery courier and they are atrocious. Haybox state they send each order via next day delivery and once it’s been despatched it’s essentially out of their hands.

I ordered hay last Friday, received a text yesterday (Wednesday) from DX saying it would be delivered tomorrow, then received another today saying it would be “delivered in 2-3 days”. When I contacted DX live chat they simply said “there’s been a delay”. If Haybox insist on using DX I am absolutely going to have to change suppliers as they are completely unreliable and I am paying for shipping as my order is below the threshold. I emailed Haybox today asking for a refund on my shipping fee, am awaiting a response.

Update: I received the hay this morning. The box was battered, ripped and damp despite it not having been left out in the wet outside my house. I updated Haybox on this and did receive a reply.

They explained that they are currently trialling DX as Yodel gave them 2 weeks notice at Christmas to find another courier as they’d no longer deliver their large boxes. They also offered to send my future orders via DPD if I email in advance of my next order. Have updated my rating accordingly.

Haybox deliveries are a joke. They went through a stage of leaving the cardboard box outside the house and not knocking on the door or ringing the bell even in bad weather. That was with Yodel who also used to trash the boxes too so we lost various items.

The latest delivery farce is with DX. I waited in all day yesterday for a box that was out for delivery according to tracking. Apparently it's with a third party courier now and neither DX nor Haybox can give any sort of ETA or any tracking.

The product quality seems to be slipping too with stones in the dandelion root nibbles and dusty timothy hay.

They failed to send the last subscribed order but charged for it anyway. They did refund but this is very poor. Maybe it's time to find another supplier.

Have been using them for around 6 months or so with no issues. Great quality hay that buns love.
Had an issue with DX on my last order, first time DX have been used by them, and they sent me a replacement with a different courier the same day that I emailed them. Great customer service.

Very poor service since the change of delivery company. On a £70 order I have only receved £17 pounds worth of hay( 1 bag) I have used haybox for a few years now spending £70 to £100 plus a month on hay, forage mixes, and enrichment toys. All in about £1000 a year. The last 3 months the company have let me down with delivery's, DX are a absolutely awful company. So this month 3 emails sent to haybox and no reply so I have sent another email. I won't be ordering from haybox again.

Fantastic! The best hay our house-bunnies have ever had! And my husband and I have been adopting bunnies for over 15 years. Haybox was recommended by our Vet Craig Hunt, he is a small animals and exotics specialist at Chine house vets in Cossington, Leicestershire.

Had great advice when my guinea pigs peggy and olive didn't like a thicker timothy hay they sent me a finer cut to try, which arrived quickly

Haybox use to be the best of the best for our buns, they loved it. But recently we've been getting so much dust and a few bits of debris in our boxes, when they advertise dust free.
Will give them a few more months before possibly changing

The latest delivery of Timothy Hay Box blend has met the chinchillas exacting requirements. They have thoroughly checked it out and have given it their full approval! It contains a mix of green shoots, seed heads and thicker stalks. One likes the green stalks, the other likes the thick stalks and they both love the seed heads, so this is the perfect blend for them.

I'm very happy with Haybox.club! Their customer service is top-notch, with excellent communication and prompt responses. The hay quality is superb - my mini-lop adores the 'blend' and dives into the box the moment it's opened! Delivery is very quick too, arriving in sturdy boxes. I'll definitely be using Haybox.club again!

I have used Haybox Club for about 2 years now, their hay is always fresh and my bunnies love it! The Taster Packs are excellent - I have had to order a few over the years as my bunnies have grown and liked different hay, these taster packs really help!

The delivery is always on time, I love the subscription service and how easy it is to pause.

The customer service has always been excellent - they are quick to respond and resolve any queries i have had.

Ordered several times over the past few months, and contacted CS for information. The hay is always great quality and very green (we get orchard and soft Timothy); our guinea pigs LOVE it. It's also very soft, which is reassuring for eye-poke, though it can feel quite rough/dry in texture. Nicely packed, good length, not too dusty, worth the price.

We also buy Timothy hay cookies, which are absolutely wonderful. No added soya or vegetable extracts to hold them together, just 100% safe, natural hay.

As for customer service, they're lovely. Real people, helpful responses, actual conversations (by email in our case) and useful advice/thoughts when needed. No hesitation in recommending them!

This is the 4th time I have ordered from Haybox.

The hay has been good quality, but has declined with the last order, but I suspect that this is due to the time of year.

I have just had my parcel delivered 5kg of blended hay. The box is in a complete mess, ripped and some contents has clearly fallen out, massive rip on the top, numerous areas of exposed hay - lord know what could have got in and potentially contaminated my rabbits food source.

I would not very keen to feed this to my rabbit now, as I can't guarantee its not been tampered with.

After contact from Sam at HayBox, I now have my issue completely resolved, the customer service and loyalty is unmatched.
