I’ve been a customer for almost two years now, but I’ve since cancelled as I’ve not actually received my order and it’s been over 6 working days (when shipping says 2-3). It hasn’t even been collected. I ran out of hay and had to spend extra money on hay from Amazon, which isn’t ideal considering the cost of living crisis going on!

I’ve heard other customers complaining in guinea pig groups on Facebook for months now about this issue, so I don’t think it’s an isolated incident. It’s also coincided with them switching delivery company (it used to be DPD but I think it’s Yodel now). I would have been happy to pay more for shipping with DPD if it meant I actually received my order.

My rabbit always relied on pellets with hay lagging way behind but Haybox Clubs Timothy Hay soft cut is a game changer, pellets are shunned in favour of the hay, which is much better for her. Ordering and delivery is easy, the price is competitive and the products are fantastic

There are 2 reasons Haybox is an amazing Company.
The products! The Timothy hay smells amazing, I can only imagine the hay smells and tastes to our piggies like tea tastes to tea connoisseurs as every time I or the kids open the box the wonderful aromas are captivating and very surprising. They also like the small edible treats.
Then there is the customer service which is super friendly and efficient. I often think I’ll order hay well ahead but, in reality, am usually right up against it but the orders thankfully arrive so promptly. Then, this time, I pressed the wrong address drop-down option on my Apple Pay so the delivery winged its’ way to my old address which I thought was unretrievable. But Haybox immediately sorted it. Been using haybox for a while now. Hay quality can very, but my piggies dont mind.

I find the website a bit clunky when trying to manage my subscription but otherwise I am mostly satisfied with the overall service.

After being a loyal customer for years, I have now changed to a competitor. Quality of hay is now terrible, new packaging compresses and ruins the hay, and customer service has also taken a nose dive. I tried to get in contact several times over an issue, but all messages were ignored.

Absolutely amazing company, highly recommend! Their communication is top notch. Their new hand packed option is so amazing for us bun mums! Thanks for always looking for new ways to make your customers happy we appreciate it so much

Always had excellent quality hay from this company, their customer service team solved an issue for me reverently super quickly and I was sent out a new box of hay without even asking. We go for the Timothy hay blend box and my boy loves it so so much! It stays green for ages even when it’s out in daylight! I wouldn’t buy anything else now.

Amazing fresh quality ordered yesterday and came today. Have had bad experience from other hays however they are very helpful and kind. Wouldn’t recommend it enough. My buns favourite is the “blend”

This hay is my guinea pigs absolute favourite, after trying them on many different brands the Haybox soft cut was the winner! It is always great quality and smells really fresh, my piggies go mad for it! The customer service is great too, when I had an issue with part of an order disappearing they sorted the problem out extremely quickly and were really helpful! Great company and the best hay out there!

Been using the haybox for about 4 years now, the quality at first was brilliant, my piggie couldnt get enough, but now its seems the quality of the soft cut isnt great, smells musty and old, very brown rather than the fresh green it used to be, ive had to email pictures to customer service which they arent bad at replacing but its still not solving the problem im still getting a box of musty, old, brown hay, not fresh like it used to be, my piggie refuses to eat it now whereas before he loved it, as with the box blend since they have changed the packaging theres alot of dust, small bits half of the bag goes in the bin now as its just dust the other is small stalky yellow bits. Bit annoying now as i will have to find another company for my piggie to eat, small pet select is worth having a look at.

dont know why 15kg is out of stock while 5, 10 and 20kg are in stock, first i thought they ran out of the big box to hold 3x5kg bales but no they sent out that big 3x5kg bales box with 2x5kg bales in it, what a scam.

Agree with the other recent reviews. My bunnies used to love this hay and it was always big long stems of quality hay. The last few boxes have been absolutely rubbish! Just mostly dust and tiny bits of hay now. Really disappointed! Will have to look elsewhere now after being a loyal customer for years.

This is the only hay my guinea pigs have had and would eat in the last two years but since the packaging has changed so has the quality. They refuse to eat it completely

This hay used to be so so amazing and my rabbits and guinea pigs loved it. It was green, with long strands and virtually no dust. Recently, instead of the loose boxed hay, they've been compressing it to fit in plastic bags. This process has made it so that half the bags are are just dust and have to be thrown out. 3 of my pets have gotten respiratory infections recently, which I'm attributing to this too. I really hope they go back to the loose hay, it was amazing. 😔

As a new customer who was recommended by a friend I cannot tell you how happy my bunnies and i are ... your hay is fresh and green and obviously super tasty they haven't lifted their heads up !! I have subscribed and I'm not for reviews but thought this well worth a review . Great product!

I have purchased this many times and I must say, it's the best timothy hay in the market. It smells so fresh and fragrant and is such a wonderful bright green colour. My bunnies absolutely LOVE this, they dive for it as soon as I open the bag! :D It also keeps their digestive systems healthy, I never have any health or teeth issues with them because of it and its nutritional/fibre content. The delivery time is good and the amount you get in each bag. Thank you, I'll always come back for more! Only the best for my bunnies :)

My subscription order went thru on Friday, 15th Mar 2024. It's now Tuesday 19th Marc 2024 and the order has not been sent yet. Customer service is not very good. I used to be able to receive replies via their FB messages and it now seems to be a dormant page. I sent email and I got a reply yesterday that it will be sent today but no, they haven't sent my order still. Where is the 2-3 days delivery stated in the website??? I've been a loyal customer for a long time and seems like they don't treat loyal customers very well anymore. What a shame.

Loyal customer for years, now moving away due to new packaging. Our guinea pigs used to love the hay from Haybox, but with the new packaging we're really disappointed that the compression now just results in a bag of dusty broken pieces that's far from appealing - gone are the wonderful lengthy blades and stalks. Our piggies now just sniff around and have the odd piece, but are clearly as disappointed as us. Please listen to customer feedback.

Poor quality hay - very expensive given the drop in standards.

I have ordered from Haybox on a number of occasions and the first order I ever hsd from them was of excellent quality which meant that I continued to order from them however over time the standards have slipped and continued to slip. The hay is no longer fresh and green but instead is comparable to the colour and texture of straw! I have already had one order replaced by the company who agreed the photographs I gave them was below acceptable standard and thought I would then give them another chance in case this was just a one off however I can confirm it is not and I have gone on to receive yet another substandard product!! Really disappointing and for the money it is a complete rip off given that any farmer or local equestrian shop will sell a bale of hay that fills two whole boxes worth of hay (20kg) for only £6! It simply is not worth the money anymore or the hassle in contacting them when their customer service has also slipped.

We used to love this company and had a regular subscription. However since they changed to plastic instead of cardboard packaging, we've noticed the hay is lacking quality, there seems to be less of it, and the rabbits aren't as excited to eat it, but we're paying the same premium! Please just go back to how things were!
