Held health were very supportive

Everyone we spoke to were pleasant and professional. They spoke to us as parents but also to our children throughout the process. They were understanding and encouraging to meet our child’s needs

Dr Catherine was lovely and kind

Dr Catherine was lovely and kind, made the whole face to face experience very relax full for a nervous parent - the feedback call was very throughour

First call for parent health info (sorry I cannot remember the lady’s name) was brilliant, lady was very thorough and gave a lot of insight and understanding again to a nervous parent. Highly recommend using this company! Both lady’s in question are a credit to the company

Very good clinicians and they consulted with my son excellently. Response to query when trying to contact by email and telephone was very slow though.

Autism assessment

My daughter was assessed for Autism by Held Health. The process was great and all of the professionals we met with were friendly and informative. The only thing that was a minor issue is that making contact can be difficult via phone.

I approached my GP back in May 25…

I approached my GP back in May 25 regarding a referral for my son to Held Health via RTC. The application was submitted in June 25 and I heard nothing for around 10/11 months. I contacted the office regularly by phone and email and got zero response. I was beginning to think it wasn’t even a legitimate company until one day a lovely lady named finally Vicki picked up the phone and apologised profusely for the issues I had experienced. From that point on, things have moved exceptionally quickly and we are now mid way through the assessment/diagnosis process for ADHD/ASD. Everybody who I have interacted with so far has been kind, professional, friendly and thorough. We have a way to go, but hopefully will have our diagnosis meeting early July.
Meanwhile, my son has been on the waitlist for assessment with CAMHS via his school for 3 years and there is still no end in sight!
I highly recommend Held Health and so far I am very impressed with their assessment process.

What is particularly encouraging is that, despite the challenges at the beginning, you have found the assessment process itself to be thorough, professional, and supportive. Excellent communication

Excellent communication. Kind non-judgemental team that want to get the best result. They really take time to listen and understand personal circumstances. Particular thanks to Phoebe who saw my daughter in person and completely got the sum of her. Also huge thank you Jess who pulled everything together at the end. Communication is a big issue

Communication is a big issue, emails and calls go unanswered for months. There were several changes of assessment dates.
The report has now been received but it has several inaccurate, contradictory information in it, for example in one paragraph correctly stating she isn’t in education, and in the next saying “school have confirmed” there are many more examples, and missing bits of information, this renders the report unusable and unhelpful. Emails asking for factual corrections to be made have been ignored for months.

Having reviewed your comments, I can completely understand your frustration. The level of communication you describe is not the standard we aim to provide, and I am particularly sorry that your emails requesting factual corrections to the report have not received a response.

I also appreciate how concerning it must have been to receive a report containing inaccuracies and inconsistencies, especially when you are relying on it to support your daughter. A diagnostic report should provide families with confidence and clarity, and it is clear that in this instance we have fallen short of that expectation.

We are currently reviewing the concerns you have raised regarding the report and arranging for the necessary amendments to be made. A member of our clinical team will be in contact with you directly to ensure the corrections are fully addressed and that you receive an updated report as quickly as possible.

We also recognise the wider concerns you have raised regarding communication, appointment changes, and delays in responding to correspondence. Improving communication remains a major focus for us, and we have recently expanded our support teams and are continuing to review our processes to improve responsiveness and provide a better experience for families.

Assessments completed very well but waiting for feedback is frustrating

Both the appointments we have attended have been completed with care and professionalism, allowing time and encouraging participation. The bit we have found frustrating has been the waiting for appointments and not being able to easily contact anyone to find out where the referral is up to. We are still waiting for my son's feedback appointment to be rescheduled after the original date was cancelled due to lack of staff availability.
