Disappointing customer service

Unfortunately, my experience echoes a lot of what others are saying here. I initially liked Pill Club: it was super convenient, and the little snacks and stickers they include are a cute touch I suppose. But after using the same birth control prescription for years, Pill Club decided to change me to a totally different medicine at a much lower dosage, which I know my body does not handle well (I have tried a lower dosage in the past and I deal with lots of spotting and cramping). When I asked why, they said it was based on a survey response I had given over three years earlier about having auras. I told them they were either mistaken or I misread the question (I do occasionally get headaches, but not the kind of migraine with aura they were referring to), and the rep basically said she didn’t believe me. I explained that I have been on the same medicine for decades and I was not comfortable suddenly changing my dosage based on a mistake on a questionnaire from several years ago. She was like “well if you’re going to be difficult then you get nothing,” refused to even fill the lower dosage generic, and cancelled my membership.
I’ve been in customer service my entire adult life and I can’t imagine treating a client like that—especially if it resulted in them being without medicine that they need to stay healthy and stable. I couldn’t get in with an OB for months, so I’m glad one of their competitors was able to step in and help me out before I missed a bunch of work.
Based on their responses to other negative reviews it seems like they don’t care what happens to their customers unless they put them on blast publicly, and I just don’t have any patience for companies like that.

I’ve been with this company for a few…

I’ve been with this company for a few years now. I use the same insurance since I’ve had them & now they cannot take it. I’m not capable of leaving my house so now I’m stuck with going through health problems. I think this is solely ridiculous & with this insurance I got the medicine this month so why now?

If I could give zero stars then I…

If I could give zero stars then I would. The “medical professionals” that contact you just send you automated messages that don’t make sense. They keep saying that they can’t subscribe me the birth control that I have been been for years, based on a questionnaire three years ago that I didn’t take about a product that I have never heard of. I then asked to take another questionnaire because I had no idea what they were talking about and they said you go see another doctor. The entire reason for this company is to not physically go to a doctor! Ever since favor took over they suck!

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. I was looking for a friend on my account because she was interested and then they cancelled my prescription because of what she selected and instead of letting me explain they said it’s not safe to prescribe to me like w t f .

And I already told them the issue and they completely ignored what I said and told me to just get a prescription somewhere else… how is that helpful the day before I was supposed to get my new prescription? Not at all.

Pushing generic brand for profit

I just tried to start using this company. They said they were sending me Tri-Sprintec. Then for no reason they changed it to the generic. After about 3 different text conversations from nurses telling me it’s the same thing, I had the brand I originally requested called into my pharmacy because it was taking way longer to get than they claimed it would. So I finally get what I asked for from my pharmacy, and then the next day, I get a text from them confirming my year long prescription for the generic ( the opposite of what I fought mail and tooth to get). I tried to call the number provided on their site, and it said there hours were different than what it says on the site, so I can’t get a hold of anyone. It looks like they aren’t reading my text messages thoroughly either, otherwise this wouldn’t be happening in the first place.

insufficient questionnaire

It was time to renew my prescription and I was prompted to fill in the questionnaire. well my prescription was canceled the next morning I completed my questionnaire. I have been using favor/the pill club for a few years at this point. I was given no explanation as to it being canceled, and when i used the text messaging service they only told me to follow up with my health provider. In my opinion their questionnaire is insufficient at getting any information. they combine side effects like "heavy bleeding/spotting between periods" as if theyre the same thing. if theyre going to group side effects like this then they should provide a space for patients to provide more detail before their "medical provider" reviews and cancels a prescription so suddenly. At least ask follow up questions on your SO CONVENIENT text message method of communication. This was such a convenient service when it came out but it has gone downhill. To see a real medical provider so suddenly is not possible for everyone, due to time constraints and even availability of health care in many areas. luckily i am able to go see a provider but i probably will not renew my prescription through the pill club or favor or whatever they choose to call themselves now.

Used to love them, now I don't 🙃

I've been using pill club/favor for a couple of years now. It had been great! Never had issues renewing or contacting customer support. Their rebrand made everything go downhill. I've been trying to contact them/set up an appointment with their medical staff to renew my prescription for close to 2 months. Not only did none of the links for their "waiting rooms" work, I also got charged 15 bucks FOR A MEETING THAT NEVER HAPPENED. Oh, and they also didn't take/use my very popular insurance that should have covered the prescription for free. So, now that I want to cancel cause it'll be easier going through my doctor at this point, I have to contact their unresponsive customer support just to close my account. I'm nervous cause if they managed to charge me once for nothing they might do it again. It just peeves me because it was such a cool concept/company but they need to understand that this is medication. Birth control is used for a variety of issues outside of just pregnancy prevention, and if people can't get it/get charged for nothing there are serious consequences. This isn't "oh sally didn't get her package this month, whoops" it's "omg, Sally is going to be in excruciating pain due to her period because she didnt get her package" or even "sally got money taken out of her account that she wasn't expecting, and now bills are due and she might not have enough money to cover them".

Good Luck Trying to Renew

Initially everything was fine, I have been getting my birth control here for nearly a year. However, now that it’s time to renew my prescription it’s turned into a total dumpster fire. I have answered their health questionnaire twice, I have called customer service and spoken with representatives multiple times,I have texted and emailed and yet no one seems to be able to help me get my prescription renewed or to explain to me why their text message communications indicate I need to do a video visit but it has been impossible for me to access their “waiting room” through the links they have provided. They are putting my health at risk by failing to take my need to access medication that I have been on for over 5 years seriously, and as soon as I have the ability to go to the doctor I will be canceling my subscription.

Faster going to the Doctor at this point.

Favor (fomerly the Pill Club) is a joke. I initially made my order a ridiculously long time ago. First, they charged me for a package I didn't even order. All I wanted was birth control (which I still haven't received) and that package alone has been redirected and missent multiple times at this point. They are also still trying to send me their Friends with Benefits package which I never order OR received. I feel like this is a scam at this point and I want to cancel everything, but customer service has ghosted me as well. Not even an explanation as to why things are taking so long. Don't waste your time or money with these people. They are all about business and don't care about giving good service at all.

Absolutely terrible and a waste of time. They don’t even know what to do if you have migraines with aura!! Its called one hormone birth control pill lol yeah these people shouldn’t be allowed to have this website up.

I visited Waco

I visited Waco, Texas and while visiting to see my new grandson, we decided to try Whataburger using Favor Delivery. Worse experience in our life with neither no resolution, response from Favor, nor our food! I will be spreading this news to everyone in the area because we're not even from here and wouldn't want anyone else to experience the displeasure of not receiving their poor service or accountability. Favor ghosted me

I tried Favor - formerly known as the pill club - for the first time over a year ago. My contraceptive came quick and for a year everything was fine. When it was time to renew my prescription, I re-took their simple quiz and waited for someone to look over my information. It’s been weeks and I’ve tried emailing them multiple times with no response at all. I’ve been weeks without my medication and now have to take time out of my very tight schedule to get an appointment elsewhere to get back on birth control. Very disappointed.

Quick and easy

Quick and easy! Definitely much more easier then setting an appointment with my doctor and having to wait almost two months to get my birth control. Fastest process and delivery was sooner then I expected. I also enjoyed the side goodies it came with! So thankful to have found Favor <3

Truly the BEST

Favor (formerly Pill Club) is just about the friendliest, most helpful service I use for anything.
If you’re in need of a birth control prescription/subscription service, I highly recommend. They are consistently THE NICEST people. From customer service reps to their nurse practitioners, everyone is so patient and kind.
When I first signed up with them, I was in a crisis because nobody was willing to prescribe my meds, and I had finally run out of my last pack. The customer service rep escalated my case, and had me speak to an NP right away. The NP called in a pack to my local pharmacy that day so I wouldn’t have to miss any more doses while my order shipped.
Then, a few months later, I accidentally threw away an entire pack of my medication (it comes in a three-pack bag, and I didn’t realize anything was left in the bottom). It was entirely my fault, and I was very honest about what happened. They immediately sent a replacement at no charge.
Today, I called because I wanted to switch back to a previous brand. It was handled while I was on the phone, and a confirmation text was sent five minutes later.

I LOVE FAVOR.

Great experience!

I’ve been using favor for a little over a year when they started as pill club, the packaging is discreet and they even add little goodies as well! I’ve had nothing but a good experience with my birth control, so overall, favor is for sure the way to go! Not to mention if you have insurance u can get it for free!

RUN FOR THE HILLS, LADIES! YOU DESERVE BETTER!

A dependent on my insurance tried to obtain services through Favor. Favor issued the message to seek services from another provider because they would not be able to issue a prescription.

My dependent did go to another provider outside of Favor, she was issued medications which were sent to the pharmacy.

Upon arrival at the pharmacy, she tried to pick up her prescription and our insurance would not cover it because Favor had billed them for medications not received. With some help from our pharmacy and insurance provider, we were able to determine these fraudulent charges happened in late November.

My dependent called Favor to have these charges reversed, which did eventually happen, and she was able to pick up her prescription issued by her provider.

If my dependent did not have support people such as the pharmacist and myself helping her sort this out, it would have been a mess.

When the dependent spoke with Favor to have the charges reversed, they just swept it under the rug and acted like it was no big deal that it created a hassle for the dependent, pharmacy, and insurance company.

I’m furious. Every woman alive deserves better than this! They deserve to be treated like humans instead of cash cows, just because Favor is offering something that women commonly use. They deserve honesty, integrity, and to be treated with respect and guidance when companies like Favor can’t help. They don’t deserve to be potentially ripped off!

Refused to refill my normal birth control after 3 years of using it

Used Pill Club for the past 3 years, had no issues. Rebranded to Favor, then my issues started. I would get a years supply of birth control whenever I ordered and never had a problem - this year (after their rebrand) I try to reorder my prescription, and because I stated that I had migraines on my medical questionnaire, they refused to refill that prescription. I tried to talk to someone and explain my migraines are not associated with birth control, and it made no sense to change it now when I've stated for the previous 3 years that I've had migraines. They didn't care and changed me to an entirely different pill anyways. I went from combination to a POP because they said "the combination pill wasn't safe for me." I used it for 3 months, absolutely hated it, and requested to go back to my prior prescription. I talked to one of the Favor workers and their pharmacist, told them both I was having terrible side effects and wanted back on my birth control immediately. This gets relayed to their "nurse practitioners" who then tell me they can only safely prescribe me the POP that I despise and have worse side effects from than my combination pill. I try to text their support and explain the problem. Get another automated text telling me a combination pill isn't safe, because of my migraines (how come you've been prescribing me a combo pill for 3 years then and I've had no issues?). I responded something snarky and then get a response text that says it is not safe to prescribe me ANYTHING at all. Verbatim it says "A medical provider has reviewed your request for birth control and has determined it's not safe to prescribe to you at this time." Because I don't want your garbage POP and want to feel comfortable on my birth control? F*** it, I abandoned Favor at this point. Immediately went online and signed up for Nurx, and got approved for my old prescription back like I wanted originally. Oh, and Favor refuses to give me a refund for the years worth of birth control I ordered that I already told them I won't finish and I will just have to return to some pharmacy. Wasted $100+ out of pocket for terrible birth control and horrible customer service and months worth of bad side effects.

Terrible customer service!!

I absolutely loved the pill club but ever since they became favor, it's been downhill. I went from getting at least 4 months worth of birth control delivered, to only one month at a time. When I reached out to them about it via text, I got a generic response. When I tried again via email, I NEVER got a response. I also kept getting messages that I supposedly cancelled my service. This happened MULTIPLE times and I kept having to sign into my account to fix it. I recently moved to a new house and changed my address before my pills were shipped, I still HAVE NOT received them. When I go to check the status, it says estimated delivery is October 31st, 2022. It's December now. My current pack is almost out and I'm not looking forward to the side effects of stopping them suddenly, but based on favor's TERRIBLE customer service, I'm guessing I won't be hearing back anytime soon. Time to find a new provider! Avoid this company and the headache it will surely give you!!!

Anti-Woman Company

I have used them for two years and would've loved to continued using them. However, I have been going back and forth with them for a week now about how the POP prescription they want to prescribe will make me sick. I have migraines. My migraines have nothing to do with my BC. They cannot comprehend that and I am learning it would've been better to lie to them. So much for being pro-woman heath care I guess.

Here’s your birth control with a serving of woke propaganda

Used to love this company when it was the pill club. Cheap birth control. Cute little stickers and candies…

Now? I’ve been harassed to sign a petition to stop rode vs wade. I’ve been given c*m sticks to clean my vagina post sex.

And the cute little motivational stickers that used to say things like “good vibes” now say things like… “burn the patriarchy” and little vagina stickers that say “safe to c*m inside” or “climate change is real!”

This will be my last year purchasing from this company. I don’t need political crap shoved down my throat. I just wanted my damn birth control.

Customer service is a hassle. They don’t have an app. And contacting them takes a minimum of 42 hours to hear back. My cost of BC went up $5/ a pack as well. It’s just not worth the headache in my opinion.
