Started out okay but on my second refill they have been completely unresponsive. It says my shipment should have arrived 11 days ago, but it also says it’s been “preparing” to ship for like three weeks. Given this is a time when women’s rights are being taken away, it’s completely unacceptable to screw up someone’s birth control shipment. I will be completely out of birth control in four days and they won’t respond to me. Editing to say I have no idea why this review says I live in the Netherlands. I don’t. I live in the US.

Was still using "hey favor" when it was still TPC. The companys become a joke, they often send birth control late. When they do it often doesnt even align with their own gimmick. Not giving any "goodies" an on the rare occasion they do provide them the items have come to melted or busted open, etc. All that time spent making custom stickers and trying to push their crappy goods on people. They could spend actually getting pills to people on time.

I loved TPC and used them for some time. But the second they turned into "Favor" they went to complete garbage. I wouldnt be surprised if they had been bought out by a competitor because they couldnt be running the company into the ground any harder if they tried. Even if you had an active prescription, they just cancel it, make you pay for a $15 consultation fee, then say they can't prescribe you anything for whatever made up reason they choose. They demand you stop taking your pills but refuse to refund you money for the pills. They are demanding all of their patients go to a doctor, to get a prescription, then you have to send that prescription to Favor, they will have problems with it and make you submit it multiple times, they will reject your insurance multiple times for made up excuses, and eventually they will overcharge you to deliver it. At that point you could just have the doctor send it to a local pharmacy and you can get it for cheaper. Literally the whole point of TPC was to avoid having to do all of that and just get it delivered. They shouldnt be allowed to operate since they aren't able to do prescribe anything they advertise.

A few months ago I asked about getting a different prescription because I was breaking out badly when I'd never had a problem breaking out on bc before. They had me fill out a questionnaire about my health and it was no problem - they gave me new birth control which worked great. Flash forward a few months and I get a text saying I need to take another questionnaire. I go to take it and it says I don't need to take it because I already did. But then I get another text saying to take it so I take it anyway. I've had migraines in the past so I check the box for migraine - the question doesn't ask when or how long ago or how often. All because I answered yes about migraines my prescription gets cancelled and I'm told to see a doctor. About migraines he already knows about that happened over a year ago. They also tell me it's cancelled because I said I had migraines with an aura - I've never had an aura with a migraine and I never said I did. It'd be one thing if they'd asked if I'd had migraines recently and while on the same birth control but they didn't - it was a very broad question. I figured if anything they would reach out and ask some clarifying questions but they didn't. When I reached out and told them I don't have migraines with auras they didn't offer to fix anything or send me a new questionnaire - they just told me to see a doctor - about something my doctor already knows about! And then on their website it said I was still getting my next birth control prescription and it was in the process of getting filled. So I ask if I'm still getting that package or not before it gets cancelled in case I need to go get a new prescription from somewhere else and they just keep giving me the same message about seeing a doctor. It's like talking to a wall. It took me asking THREE times if my next prescription is coming or not since it still says it's getting filled before they told me no. I used to LOVE the pill club - I told my friends and coworkers about it so they could get it too. Since they switched to being Favor their customer service has been terrible. It takes them forever to answer and when they do it sounds like it's coming from a robot. Alexa sounds more like a human being than their customer service does.

When this was pill club the service was good. They would answer all my questions. I didn't even know they change until I logged in to renew my prescription.
I tried asking a medical question starting on May 15th, they tell me to update my health information, I did. The next day they tell me to refill my prescription. I said I would (not needed until June) and asked a question about the pills. They sort of answer the next day. It is now May 19, no one has answered my medical question or even acknowledge it. I tried to ask again. They ignore my question and continue to push buying my new prescription. May 21st someone finally responds but they obviously didn't read my question or just read a little and they did the automated response. I ask again and no response to this day.
I am really contemplating not renewing my prescription with them.
The customer service is terrible.

Every since they switched names, it's clear their service has plummeted. The most appalling part of this is, they will never hold themselves accountable and fix their mistakes.
Don't ever, EVER tell these brands you were mentally ill at any point in your life. The stigma is strong here. Not only is the renewal questionnaire extremely vague, but if you hint at having depression, they immediately ban you from using their service, and then refuse to do anything to fix it. I've been back and forth with them because one fateful misunderstanding of a vague and horrible unclear question led to the complete cancellation of my subscription, and they just throw up their hands and gaslight me. They talked about how they have very "strict" protocols and policies since they're an online medical service, but the questionnaire (which frickin determines if you can continue using their service) is so vague, dodgy, and unclear.
Their ONE question on whether I've EVER had thoughts of unaliving myself, I decided to be honest and say yeah. Because a long ass time ago, at one point in my life, I was. BIG MISTAKE. Fricking.. Lie to them. Don't do what I did. I've been extremely clear with TPC that I even had a follow-up appointment with my physician a month prior and she and I confirmed that this birth control was the best one for me. And /their/ nurses, who don't know me and have never even seen my face, are telling me that they're "scared" of helping me. What the hell? How the hell do you think that makes me feel??
And so that's it. My cripplingly agonizing periods will make a comeback, my hormones will be unstable again, which will /now/ mess with my mental health, and I'm thrown back into trying to find an easy and accessible service that assuredly gives a damn about the people they serve. All over a fricking misunderstanding.

I was a longtime member of The Pill Club and absolutely loved the service I received with them for so many years. I was pretty well stocked up on oral birth control with a few months' extra supply and wasn't too worried when I received notification a few months ago that my prescription had expired. I updated as necessary and uploaded my new insurance info. Unfortunately, nothing was resolved. I just realized I'm down to my last month's supply so I logged in to try and get everything sorted out. I'm running into automated errors and "whoops" messages. Oh well, after many years I have settled down with a medical provider so I will just go that route, but goodbye Favor!

ETA: After TWO MONTHS of back and forth with these people, refusing TWO types of insurance, being sent the wrong links to fill out forms, being ignored, I finally got them to send me my prescription after paying out of pocket AND THEY SENT THE WRONG PRESCRIPTION!!! Avoid this service if you have any other options.
This was great when it was TPC but since changing it is absolutely terrible. I've been jumping through hoops for 2 months trying to get my pills filled. Suddenly they don't take either of my insurance cards, Blue Cross or Care Source, even though my daughter just filled hers with the exact same insurance because she's on my insurance and they've been covering my pills without incident for the last 2 years.
I'm also tired of the generic computer generated apologies and the links you send that don't work. This is the single worst customer service of any company I've ever dealt with.

I got pregnant off their birth control pills, I was faithfully taking them at the same exact time every single day. Do not waste your money with them, my ex left me because he blamed me for getting pregnant even though I did everything I could to prevent this on end but hey that’s men for you. I asked for a refund since the pills they gave me were completely useless and they didn’t even respond to my email. Great customer service. Like I said don’t bother with this company they are garbage it was my fault for trusting birth control over the internet though.

I had no problems when they were the pill club, but recently they just stopped shipping my birth control with no notice. When I asked why they hadn’t shipped my prescription for February 2022 or March2022 , they said it was because my prescription expired in April 2022. Yeah, makes no sense right? I had just gotten a new prescription in December 2021 so that can’t possibly be the truth. They gave me the same answer multiple times saying I needed to pay for a new prescription so I just canceled.
Edit: it gets better! Just hours after my review posted (and I continued to get responses within a few hours to minutes despite it taking days to get a response when I had an actual issue with my medication). Favor reached out to me to tell me that their new excuse was my insurance had been run in feb through June so they didn’t send me my birth control. This was also not true. My insurance was run on April 2nd, long after I reached out for help in March, from April through June because I have a new provider who filled my bc for three months. Then they told me that it was all a miss understanding and the only problem was my prescription expired in April, which still doesn’t make any sense. Then they told me they didn’t ship feb or March because I “only had one month left on my prescription after the January shipment” which STILL makes no sense because that’s two months and why would they not send my bc that I still had a valid prescription for just because it was going to expire in a later in the year? Avoid this company, they’re happy to lie to their customers instead of admitting they made a mistake.

This company was great when they were The Pill Club. As soon as they became Favor, they also became terrible. First, they claimed my prescription was backordered with no estimated arrival date. I checked the FDA website for drug shortages and contacted the manufacturer - there is no shortage and no backorder, so that was a lie and they're just not ordering it. I had them transfer it to my local pharmacy so that I could be done with them. My pharmacy called and told me they could not fill the prescription because the person who sent it over is not licensed to do so in my state. You'd think Favor would know the rules, right? No. Absolutely cannot recommend them anymore.

A couple years ago I tried to start using Pill Club because I was having a hard time getting Nuvaring in at my local pharmacies without an absolute hassle every month. But then they dropped Nuvaring and I didnt want to risk trying the other ring in case I got more side-effects (ie why I can't take pills/progesterone only medications, severe reactions). Then when I contacted and asked for information they were quick and easy to deal with and gave me my options.
Flash forward to now, I just had my 2nd kid. Can't go on the ring because the last time I did postpartum it dropped my milk supply. My OB recommended I try Phexxi and stay away from hormones while nursing, and gave me some samples of it. I was laid off on FMLA so now I don't have insurance (and I didn't even know if my old one covered Phexxi because its new and I have seen the issues of getting it covered). Favor made me retake my "profile quiz", which I answered, and they immediately blocked me from getting anything. Anything at all. So I tried contacting them over the course of 4 days, 2 different ways to see if they offered Phexxi or not (through my account like they recommend and email) and not only did they blanket text me "you answered this so were not helping you"... on the 4th day they texted me they deleted my account "and were sad to see me go".
...Wow.
They boast 120 different medication options on their faq page but wont show you a list of options. Or give you the time of day to actually read your inquiry to what they do offer. Its a yes or no answer, and they responded to me 3 times with different names but same words:
Hi! This is Amy, a Registered Nurse at Favor (formerly The Pill Club). A medical provider has reviewed your request for birth control and has determined it's not safe to prescribe to you at this time. We recommend you follow up with your healthcare provider, local health clinic, or Planned Parenthood to get an in-person evaluation to ensure you get on the right birth control for your health profile. Your provider can send us your prescription via the following methods and The Pill Club Pharmacy on behalf of Favor will ship your order to your door: e-prescribe to "The Pill Club" call (772-217-4557), or fax (888-873-6994).
I'm going to bet not a single medical *professional* looked at anything. Not only did I state in my message and email my OB told me to use this, and why I can't take hormones at this time.. but this is not a response at all to my question. I would stay far away from this company if they won't even say what they offer or give you plain answers.

I have been trying to get my birth control since January 11th when they told me my insurance didn’t cover that brand anymore. I didn’t want to switch and figured I’d just deal with the price. I’ve reached out to them 10 times now with only one response. Because of them I’ve been off the pill for 2 weeks, which means I’m going to have to go through the adjustment period again. I just want my birth control why is this so hard? Even if they would respond back to me and act like they cared about their patients at all I’d feel a little bit better.

I LOVE the convenience of the Pill Club. I have been with them since 2019. I signed up because going to the gyno every 3 months to just have my blood pressure and weight taken with a $40 copay each time in order to get refills just became unbearable. Missing work for appointments outside of the regular gyno already uses up all of my vacation time as it is.
I have had nothing but a pleasant experience with the Pill Club. I especially enjoy the treats they send with my refills (as well as Plan B if you choose). It gives me something to look forward to.
I have always gotten a quick response when needed; no issues. The best part is that for me it is FREE.
No complaints whatsoever. 5 stars!

I have never had a harder time getting my birth control. When I first signed up for Pill Club I was excited to experience an easier way to get my birth control without having to visit a doctor. I was terribly wrong in thinking it would be easier. I took the questionnaire and did not think I would have any trouble getting the birth control I wanted as I had already had a prescription for it in the past. The first trouble I encountered was with my insurance. When I submitted my insurance card I received a text saying it was expired (which it wasn’t). After fixing that issue I thought everything would be ok as I had already received a text saying a prescription for the bc I requested was being sent to Pill Club pharmacy. After a couple days I received another text saying my prescription for another bc that I had never requested was being processed and it would be mailed after the pharmacists review my order, not mentioning the bc that was supposed to have been sent to the pharmacy. I immediately noticed this error and called to correct this. The man I spoke to said he would correct this mistake and make sure I received the correct birth control. I even received a text after the phone call that read "Thank you for reaching out so we could assist you with making sure JUNEL FE 1/20 is being sent only", which is the original bc I had requested. This was not done. The next day I got a text saying my package was on its way. Just to make sure I checked to see which prescription was being sent and it STILL said the wrong bc. I had to call back AGAIN and was told that the package had already been sent out so I would be receiving that and now they corrected it to the right bc. Now I have to deal with properly disposing of this wrong bc prescription that I should have never been sent in the first place (because Pill Club won’t dispose of it) AND my correct bc is arriving after I need it all because of this mishap that should have been fixed the first time I called. Ever since signing up for Pill Club it has been a hassle to get the correct bc that I have had a prescription for for years now and I’ve had to call customer service numerous times in the past week for issues that should never have occurred. I am extremely unsatisfied with this service.

It takes at minimum one day to get a response by what looks like an automated message. I got an appointment to change my prescription because it was having bad side effects on me and the doctor said well your prescription is up in four months so we’ll just see what happens till then, I know what happens, I just told her. So she didn’t change my prescription they never changed it on my account, I still haven’t received it and they don’t respond.

I am on the pill and wanted to change to a ring because they're marketed as low dose. I do have very frequent headaches and bad irritability from the pill, and more importantly, I am currently 11 non-consecutive days behind on my 28 day package. Obviously this isn't effective for me.
I thought I could change to a ring without having to go to a doctor in person, and the website never remotely suggested otherwise; I have several providers nearby but I work night shift, so going to one during the light hours is somewhat tough.
When I got into the questionnaire, I couldn't find either ring brand name I knew, even though they heavily advertise that they have at least one ring brand (Annovera). I thought that any business worth their salt would ask me if I had a preference as to what type of birth control I'd be buying... Like every single provider I dealt with in my life before The Pill Club.
They chose Vienva, a pill according to Google, and never replied to a single thing I texted back for several days. I called several times, they pretended to care but I'd have to tell the medical personnel instead of the customer service rep that answered the phone... While everything I texted back was being completely ignored and I couldn't get anyone useful on the phone.
I went around and around with these rejects for 4 days. Almost every single text I got from them was pretty much "You want ring? Too bad! Here pill! F you AND what you stand for!" The only times it was different was when I cancelled, the other was when I texted "Refund". The few replies I got were relatively swift, as if automated. Whatever was texting me never did act human whatsoever. It acted exactly like a bot; too simple to understand more than a single word sentence.
The last text I got from them said I wasn't medically eligible to get the ring, which is a lower dose than the pill, harder to forget to take than the pill, and doesn't not work one day just because you had the runs that day, and the rings supposedly have a lower fail rate to begin with.
They think I can survive the pill, but not a lower dose product? Something isn't right here; it was at this point I realized they didn't have rings at all.
After 4 days of arguing and paying good money that should've been spent on groceries, I still have nothing to show for all of it, so I called my previous provider up and had no real issues with them, and I can pick up my prescription from my pharmacy much quicker than TPC said they could ship anything to me. TPC said they don't do refunds but don't seem to understand they don't have the final say on that; my bank does. So I blocked them (arguing with a bot doesn't work), and am disputing the charge because there are laws against false advertising. TPC seems to think they're the only providers in existence, so you've got no choice but to take whatever they dictate.
TL;DR, I had an easier time going to an in-person provider and pharmacy, in a red county in red ol' KenYUCKY, than I did with The Pill Club.
Edit: Their Glassdoor reviews often state that there's quite an anti-woman culture within the company; it's no wonder I couldn't get anywhere, TPC is run by confederate trash.

Everything was fine until I had asked to switch birth control as the one I was on was giving me headaches. I have had this happen before on another birth control and switched and they went away. As soon as I said this and answered their questions they responded the next morning saying I wasn't medically safe and canceled my account. Super unprofessional and unhelpful. This happened on a weekend before a holiday so almost next to impossible to get into a clinic to get birth control. I had provided proof from my primary care that I was safe to be on birth control but they didn't care. Women avoid going to clinics because they face stigma and don't get help. Don't come here if you have questions or get headaches sometimes because apparently this flags their system and they won't reactive your account. This was funny considering their recent post about periods and migraines as this is a normal thing as is a side effect of headaches with incorrect birth control dose.

I am so over Pill Club. They straight up ignored me and my concerns about my birth control. The only time they would reach out to me was when it was time for a refill. They don't care about the people, just the money. I slightly considered renewing my subscription with them, but they said I had to call them to renew my prescription. I don't have any intrest in speaking with anyone at the company because I know they don't care, but that doesn't change the fact I need birth control. Hopefully I will find a company that cares even a little bit. I do not reccomend this company. P.S. the little "gifts" they give you are cheap, poorly printed, tiny stickers.
