The pen is absolutely gorgeous

The pen is absolutely gorgeous. Aesthetically, it is a thing of beauty and a delight to write with. I would like to praise the team at Iguana who have been very helpful and friendly, responding almost immediately to my queries. Very good service. The only problem is with Visconti themselves. Having sent two ignored emails regarding having a fine nib, Visconti seem completely unresponsive and not interested. They have also ignored Iguana’s attempts on my behalf. Just not up to standard frankly."

Failed advertising and service

I ordered a replacement leather watchband for my UBoat watch at a cost of 435 USD. The band was pictured and advertised as leather and steel. The band arrived without a buckle as pictured on the sales page. Sad there was no " steel " as advertised. I'm glad that I retained my original buckle. Now I have to locate someone to install the buckle. $435. Is alot of money to pay for an incomplete watchband. Shame on Iquana.

Very efficient service for my Pilot…

Very efficient service for my Pilot Capless pen. I had been drawn to the capless pen and assumed I would buy the matt black version with a medium nib and I’d take it with me to my second home and back home again, a pen that would certainly do my journalling and note taking besides working on my ‘stories’ and writing to friends. I had used a finer nib quite recently and suddenly decided I’d buy the fine nib because for note taking I’d get more on the page and could add notations more easily. Also I thought of getting a yellow one so I didn’t lose it as easily. However the ‘Carbonesque’ caught my eye and when I realised it was a copy of Japanese ‘Kasuri’, a type of tye died ikat fabric, it really made sense because of my textile background. The pen is even better in reality than it is in images and videos I’ve seen. It came remarkably quickly, with a free gift of Visconti pink ink which I’ll use for making annotations in my writing. I’m so delighted I’m unsure whether or not to buy another to ink up in another colour. If not it’s likely to be another pilot pen because the nibs are exquisite. It’s been a joy so far. Incidentally, because I’m travelling currently, I’m using cartridges, which I may continue to do and fill them with pilot ink. I mainly use black ink and I like the standard Pilot black ink. I think it’s important to say that the unusual clip position isn’t any detriment to me, I am tending to hold the pen higher up than I’ve seen it being held and it fits beautifully into my hand. I love the weight of it, it’s not overly heavy but heavy enough to suit my preference. Fabulous bit of engineering. I was quick to put it on my Instagram feed ‘The Trove Road’ which I use for sharing my recommendations of quality products and services. I’d use Iguana again for sure.

Dodgy

Dodgy. Ordered a watch over a month ago- two weeks later they e-mailed saying the watch order is delayed and they haven't received it at their office yet. They said they would update me when it arrived. No update since then and i've asked three times via e-mail and they e-mail back in French- when I translate it to English it says their office is closed.

They won't respond to my enquiries- they have $900 of my money- i'm now having to go through my banks fraud department to recover the money. Garbage company.

From the moment you contacted us regarding the issue with your watch (reference 5164-3), we followed our standard procedure by sending the item to the official service center of the brand, as it showed a technical fault. Once repaired and quality-checked by their certified technicians, the watch was returned to us and then promptly sent back to you, along with the official technical report.

As outlined in our terms and conditions, products showing signs of use must be processed as repairs. Any visible wear must be assessed accordingly, which was also confirmed by the serial number and images recorded at the time of shipment.

We understand your frustration and regret that this situation did not meet your expectations, despite our efforts to communicate transparently and act according to our established policies.

Customer service with a difference

Excellent: Iguanasell is a little oasis of customer service and quality in a desert of bots, soulless employees and indifference. This is everything you want from a shop, and the products are brilliant. I bought the Pluma Estilográfica Platinum Kanazawa Maki-e Red Mt. Fuji and am absolutely loving it.

Fabulous pen, writes beautifully

A fabulous pen that feels great when using, lovely quality at a very reasonable price. The nib writes beautifully and the refill mechanism is simple and works exactly as expected. Highly recommended. As always Iguana were spot on with delivery and customer service

Le SAV m'indique une date potentielle de mi avril après retour au service client au japon.

L'expérience acheteur est très bien ! J'ai acheté un pilot capless noir black magnifique !

En revanche le service après vente est vraiment pas à la hauteur..

J'espère changer ma notation par la suite car j'aime beaucoup ce site.

Mais mon capless s'avère avoir une pièce qui se détache, je l'envoi en SAV , assez réactif par email. J'ai fournis l'ensemble des éléments nécessaires à l'authentification de mon achat. (l'objet est garanti deux ans)

Depuis un mois et demi, visiblement on attend le retour de l'atelier..
On parle d'un stylo, à quel moment on est censé attendre un mois pour savoir si c'est une pièce défaillante ? Un défaut du produit ? Ou autre chose. C'est juste pas possible. Et depuis , un email par semaine ... qui je présume doit agacer , mais c'est mon seul moyen.. Vu que je n'ai même plus de stylo maintenant.

J'espère sincèrement que tout ça s'arrangera.

Nous regrettons sincèrement les retards que vous rencontrez avec le service après-vente. Nous comprenons parfaitement votre frustration - attendre aussi longtemps pour obtenir une réponse sur un produit sous garantie n'est pas ce que nous souhaitons pour nos clients. Malheureusement, les réparations impliquant un retour au fabricant, en l'occurrence au Japon, peuvent parfois entraîner des retards indépendants de notre volonté, mais cela ne diminue en rien notre engagement à suivre votre dossier de près.

Votre confiance est très importante pour nous et vous pouvez être assuré que nous ferons tout ce qui est en notre pouvoir pour améliorer ces délais.

Achat d'un stylo pélican souverain le 10 décembre, souhaitant le recevoir pour Noël... Nous sommes le 6 janvier et nous n'avons toujours rien reçu ! Malgré des tentatives par mail et téléphone impossible de joindre l'entreprise...

A very satisfying experience !

I am very happy with my purchase. Everything was perfect, first the beautiful slim lighter itself, the nice gift wrapping, then the customer service who was responding fast and nicely and was very helpful and finally the quick and precise delivery.
