Absolutely avoid.
Skip didnt turn up when agreed.
Then when it did a second skip arrived the next day
Collection date was ignored
They promised a confirmed later date, again missed
Then another
And another.
Zero communication and zero accountability.
A truly awful company best avoided.

First time I have used this company. Didn’t even know they existed!!

The only reason I chose them (at first) was because they could deliver the skip a lot sooner than other companies and others that I have used in the past. At the same time, I was worried that because I could get a skip so quick, was this because noone else was using their services and for what reason.

So I bit the bullet and chanced it. I am glad I did. What stood out for me compared to others that I have used was:

✔️ Communication by email with updates
✔️ Actually followed my instructions of where to place the skip, rather than me having to repeat myself to the driver because my instructions weren’t passed on.
✔️ Allowed me to send photos of my driveway and then sent a reply.
✔️ Opportunity to amend what was going in the skip, even when it had already been delivered. An easy payment system to use if chargeable
✔️ Further communication when the skip was going to be picked up.
✔️ Despite my concerns at the beginning, you can get a skip delivered a lot quicker than other companies
✔️Website easy to navigate

I know for some people they probably are not bothered, but it’s not often or even at all that companies keep a customer informed.

The skip was perfect size and did the job for us.

Absolutely shocking service — avoid!

Ordered and paid for a skip, took a day off work for the agreed delivery — cancelled by them on the day.

They then promised Friday, so I took another day off work.

Guess what?

No skip. 😂

At this point, I’m wondering whether the skip actually exists or whether I’ve subscribed to the exciting new service of “Guess When Your Skip Might Turn Up?”

Two promised dates, two wasted days off work, extra costs incurred — and apparently that’s just my problem.

If you enjoy taking time off work for absolutely nothing, this is definitely the company for you.

Full refund demanded. Absolutely appalling.

One thing that I can fault is that although the skip was collected early I received quite a lot of follow up emails regarding collection which were not needed

they charge to much, we ordered skip, but insurance refused to approve to soon- so we wanted to remove empty skip for refund- and they said - we can take skip, but no refund- 900£ for nothing ahhahahah, jokers, hire company was understandable and extended skip for free, but this greedy tw..ts wanted money 🤣🤣🤣

I originally booked a smaller skip using the easy online platform. Price was extremely competitive and it was a quick process using my mobile. However what made the experience for me was the direct contact I received the following day stating that the size skip I ordered wasn’t actually available however the next size up would be issued at the same price although it would take a further day to arrive .

My skip was a day late. I received a phone call say because of the bank holiday it will be picked up the day after, which is understandable. I returned to my late father's house to continue the clearing and the skip had gone! 3 days earlier than agreed.. so in total I didn't have the use of the skip for 4 days. Which resolved in not finishing clearing my father's house I had to hire a removal company to finish the job...!! I have sent them four emails regarding this issue and I hadn't had one reply every time I call them that answer machine tells you to wait then it it will cut you off. I even tried to text message but never got to reply... so after paying £650 for a 12 yard skip I feel that I've been scammed .. my opinion don't use this company they are not honest and they are not professional .

It was easy and fast to hire the skip I wanted on the date I wanted.

The delivery of the skip was spot on asked for it to be collected earlier but still waiting for it to be collected c

Late delivery of skip and there was no communication about this until I contacted. My skip was due to be picked 4/08/26 yet it is still on my drive. Definitely wouldn't recommend nor will I be using the service again

Skip was delivered and collected promptly and the cost was good. Will use again.

Excellent Service! The booking of the skip was quick and easy and available to do online. The dropping off and collection was hassle free, definitely recommend.

The two people that came to collect our waste were friendly and helpful. They collected everything we put out.

We received a tracking link 1 hour or so before they arrived, which was helpful.

It can be difficult to estimate the volume of your waste, so that's one thing bearing in mind.

The driver made it look so easy to put the skip in my driveway, he was so nice and cheerful he made it a pleasant experience instead of being stressed out I was quite relaxed watching him Thank you

The hire of the skip was very easy from start to finish. The website was crystal clear about costs, delivery and delivery conditions, content restrictions, size guide and generally just everything. I also found Justhire to be good value for money.
The driver who delivered the skip was very polite and professional and managed to put the skip half way up my narrow driveway.
