Questioned there fees, which would equal half the months rent, after having to ask 3 times what they would be. I was then told that the "landlord" had chosen to go with some one else, which i had already been informed that they was happy with me once i had complete their forms.

Avoid these like the plague, they are rude, slow and will pull out on shady grounds when you question why they charge a single occupant so much for application.

Good luck to them post 1st June 2019.

Speaking as a landlord, I can't recommend Lettingsupermarket.com and in particular Jenna Veneziani enough. My property needed a tenant to be placed at the start of the the New Year, which meant advertising and viewings had to be arranged during the busy Christmas period when fewer people are looking for properties. I was so impressed by how quickly Jenna acted and really appreciated her taking the time to explain the details and make sure I was kept in the loop with any developments. I'm delighted to say the new tenant moved in without any issues and it's all down to Jenna's hard work and diligence.

Hi I don’t actually rent from letting supermarket, but I work for one of there clients who uses them for there houses, I have to say they are really good, if ever I need to contact them, they have a quick resonse,within an hour,( usually within half an hour) anything needs doing on the Propertys they let their client no, and get the problem sorted,very quickly,I work with other letting agency’s I can honestly say none of them can compare to these, I must admit I didn't expect this to work,off the Internet but it does very professionally.

It’s difficult to put into words just how highly I value Lettingsupermarket and it’s Managing Director, Chris.

Chris has carried on the fine work of his late Dad and produced a company that actually cares about its customers.

Lettings and Chris are a credit to their profession and I can’t thank them enough for helping me through a very difficult time with a tenant and the council - not paying.

Jenna and James were fantastic. Really friendly and approachable. Any issue that we had they resolved straight away and kept us fully updated. Jenna also gave us ample warning when she was coming to the property, which was an issue we had, had with our previous agency.

Very impressed, I went through the new instant let scheme ( i believe its in its trial phase) and the property was let in 24 hours with an £1000 incentive, £3000 grant and market rent. Great service, great price and maintenance issues have been taken care of brilliantly

Like many Landlords who visit and use Property118.com, I would like to think that the integrity of those advertising on the forum, was above average, especially when the founder of the website has himself declared a financial investement in a particular service or company they advertise.

Such a service is Lettingsupermarket.com who on the face of it appear to be a Landlord's blessing, but my recent experience with them shows that it is anything but. 1st and main problem is that they tell you that if you advertise with them, then if a tenant can't be found within 4 weeks, then your fee is returned. Having reached that situation, there seems to be a huge reluctance to refund any money. Initially I e-mailed them to let them know. No reply. Then I rang at the beginning of the week, and was told that the usual contact was busy. I rang again, and was told that he was now going on holiday, but that he would sort things out for me.

The property was taken off Rightmove, but no refund has taken place. Despite ringing each day, I am always told that the person I need to speak to was 1) Not available, 2) Too busy, or 3) That they would ring me back. Nobody has ever rung me back. Having rung again just now, I am told that I need to speak to someone in Accounts, but they were out. Now there is a surprise. When asked who I needed to speak to, she didn't know, but eventually provided me with a name. Of course, he'll give me a call back in 30 minutes, but I'm not holding my breath! I'm not giving up, so will keep calling.

2nd problem - They are mighty slow at what they do, and make numerous mistakes & omissions. The referencing for the property let through them in June, took two weeks, and I almost lost a tenant because of this.

3rd problem - My properties are for single people, and this set up charges the same for referencing, whether 1 or 2 people going into a property. £120 per person if two people, & £240 for a single person. A huge deterrent for single people interested in a property.

In conclusion, things here are not what they purport to be, and I would suggest that you also look at the alternatives carefully before committing to these people. It all sounded so good at the start.

I've just had contact with the MD and others, who, hands up, accept what I say and have explained the reasons behind the service received, and will look to remedy matters so these don't happen again, plus a refund. Let's hope they live up to these promises.

Helpful, efficient, professional, practical, highly effective and great value. Lettingsupermarket have helped me rent properties for approx 3 years now and have not once let me down or given me any cause for concern. In fact, I only have praise for the service I have received from them. They tick all the boxes and the advice they give is invaluable. They have saved me from going down the wrong path a few times now.

I would highly recommend Chris and his team. I received a very professional service and great advice during the 3 years they looked after my properties.
