False advertising, slow delivery and bad communication
Delivery took almost a month to arrive, communication wasn't great. They send an email asking if you have received, but take forever to reply, with a basic copy and paste reply.
Magnets are tiny, nothing like the pictures, or the videos. They must send influencers superior products and Photoshop the pictures to make them look better. I got a set from Amazon for about a tenner, and it's no different from this £24 set.

Delivery took forever
Ordered at the very beginning of December, the order was not even processed until 25th December and then it was the middle of January before the package arrived. Was sending emails every week to find out what was happening and it would take 7 days for anyone to respond and the response was far from satisfactory. The game itself is easy for anyone to play and fun, but the company is appalling. Even after I have now received my goods (4 days ago) still getting emails saying if they haven't turned up I should take it up with the postal service that would deliver them to me - basically removing themselves from any responsibility at all. Would not recommend to anyone. Buy from another company is my advice.

Fun game, need 2 sets to work well
This product is fun and good quality, but in order to make the game work well, you need to buy at least 2 bags as there is too big a gap between magnets. It comes in pretty well made velvet bag, but is smaller than the advertised picture.
The ad I saw said it would arrive before Christmas, and was delivered by Australian post. I ordered on the 10th of December and received it today (20th of January) it came from overseas.
I would buy again, but remembering that I need to buy 2 bags and allow at least 6 weeks for delivery.
I wouldve rated it higher if the advertising was correct

Guess what arrived through the post…
Guess what arrived through the post yesterday (Sunday!), after I sent an email threatening to dispute the order charge with my credit card company and report Magnet Chess as a fraudulent company?! I placed the order on 17th December, hoping it would arrive before we went on holiday pn the 23rd. It didn't and they apologized saying they were deluged with orders. Fair enough. In between, I received many dud emails saying the order was on its way and even showing fake courier notifications. There was also an email requesting the order number so they could check the status but then no reply after I responded. Eventually a month later the order arrives in the post. The game is exactly as per the FB ads and has good quality magnets. Happy to have received it but would have been nice to have not had all the hassle.

Fun game, awful shipping and communication
I placed my order on December 6th, the order finally arrived on January 17th a full 6 weeks later. During that time, I reached out through their contact form multiple times and waited at least 2 weeks each time between replies, and the replies were short, lacking detail, and instilled zero confidence that this was anything but a scam product/company. I was honestly shocked when my order actually arrived. It's a shame honestly because the game is fun, even if it's pretty minimal and a bit cheap for the price.

Edit (9/4/26): A direct reply to my email would have been far more helpful than responding here. The absence of any real attempt to resolve the problem only validates the 1‑star review.

Arrived broken, 3 weeks after xmas
This vendor even games their "rate us on trustpilot" email by sending me to their contact form if I click 1-3 stars, and sending me to trustpilot if I click 4 or 5 stars.
This is a pretty untrustworthy behaviour, especially given the site they're sending me to is about "trusted reviews", and they're even gaming that.

Great product.
This is a great little product in a handy sachet. Communication with the guys was positive. It took a while to arrive which is not their fault, I guess, but the tracking process by the delivery provider was not great.

Misrepresentation of product
The delivery time tooks weeks and misses Christmas, which is what it was bought for.
Additionally, the size of the pieces are not as represented in the adverts. They are very small, which is a problem if you have children under 3 as this product represents a major choking hazard. Do not buy from this company.

Horrible service!
Horrible experience. Ordered as a Christmas gift on 9th December and the order arrived on 15th January. No communication. No response to any of my emails. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. There are other brands of magnet chess out there. In the grand scheme of things this isn't life and death but ... they should do much better.

If I could give a no star review I would. I ordered in Dec 21st with a guarantee prior to Christmas and it’s Jan 16 an no order. I was given an invalid tracking number and an email on Dec 24 that my order had shipped and an apology for the delay. I still can’t get a response. I am to the point of filing a fraud claim.
