Extremely helpful, nothing was too much trouble
Essa at Mercury Travel had been absolutely brilliant, when booking our trip to Thailand nothing was too much trouble. He went above and beyond.

First time i have used this company and the online booking experience was positive and very straight forward to use with customer services just a phone call away if needed.
The follow up information via email was very informative and extremely useful despite rhe booking made was for 2027.

My mom died 6 years ago. I've constantly returned the brochures only to be ignored by this company.
This constantly brings up painful memories which this company doesn't seem to care about.onky this morning yet another was posted.. 30.10 2026.
Ive left a review on the website only for it to ve deemed unacceptable to tell the facts

Friendly service but slow
Friendly service but it seemed to take a long time to find flight information and we were incorrectly tole one of our flights was direct when in fact it had one stop.

The price given for the hotel was c£850…
The price given for a single person was the hotel at c£850 plus change of flights £62 and shuttle service £32.
I thought he cost should be c£950 but missed the price change during the process. There were 2 costs for the shuttle £32 and £64 with identical descriptions which was confusing and so it cost more.
I have now double checked by attempting to book another holiday and can confirm I was charged for 2 passengers for the flight change and shuttle.
The reponse to my review from Mercury was excellent however. THANK YOU But afraid customer service could not help me.

Not much help if your disabled
Due to fly with Jet2 and they need some information from Mercury as one membergoing is disabled. Jet 2 have contacted Mercury and I have contacted Mercury but just got cut off after a long conversation and Mercury telling me they can't (won't) make contact. This is one of the big problems with using overseas support, they just don't understand. Mercury need to have a UK help desk. I just hope I can sort this and get away

Great organisation and excellent…
Great organisation and excellent service from our guide. Great value for money. Downsides were damp accommodation on the Yangtze River cruise. The fact all meals apart from breakfast were served on a lazy Susan table with no choice of dishes. Had to share meals on a table of 10 people and sometimes eating in the same restaurant 2 nights in a row.
