Had 3 orders with MKM Shrewsbury
In total £3500 of goods. First delivery was 24 hours late second was on time third and last delivery I booked a week in advance for a morning drop. I phoned at 11 because it hadn’t arrived. They said it would be afternoon. Drop then phoned an hour later to say the stuff was not in stock.

What a great company. Went in the shop on Friday to order more stone for a drive way am doing. Not a problem 👌. They had just what we needed. To day Monday we had delivery by das a great man put it where I asked. Relay happy person. I would HIGHLY recommend mkm chester. Great price and delivery is free well done mkm building supplies

They have just woke me at 06.55 dropping off building supplies what happened to anti social hours!

Had 2 bags of “bark” delivered, contains at least 60% roof felt and another 10% pallets etc.
Do not buy very poor quality

Wouldn't recommend. Bought cloakroom furniture. Cabinet split & cracked. Replacement received in Nov 2024. However, in March unpacked and damaged. Returned. Never rang. I rang them to chase various times. Told reordered. However, still had to chase. Then advised manufacturers wouldn't replace. This is not true. I contacted direct. Sent out within 24 hrs.
So poor service, and customer service, lied to. Not impressed.

Just took delivery of 17, 25kg bags of Cotswold stone chippings that I placed last night. I’ve never had such great service, I can’t believe how helpful the delivery driver was. He has saved me so much time by moving them near to where they are needed. Thanks MKM for great service and even better staff.

Kitchen is Lucente Matt Indigo with j-pull handles. MKM kitchen designer at Burnley was great and everything was delivered on time. Slight damage to a door noted on fitting which was replaced in a very timely manner. Marks where paint coming off noted to 5 doors and kick board 2 weeks later cupboard doors front and 2 kick boards. Replacements were delivered within a week and (although reluctantly by kitchen supplier) £150 to pay a joiner to fit them.
On fitting a couple of weeks later the replacement drawer front was noted to be damage so a further drawer front was delivered.
Unfortunately in November 2024 several marks where pain has peeled appeared on a drawer front. In January 2025 I was advised I could collect a replacement drawer front from branch (previously they had been delivered) but no payment could be made to pay anyone to fit the drawer front.
For various reasons no one could collect the drawer until a couple of weeks ago by which time peeling paint marks and chips have appeared on 1 upper drawer front, 3 bottom cupboard fronts, 1 wall cupboard door front, 1 kick board, 1 plinth, 1 bin drawer front, dishwasher door front, and the end panel the oven housing. Some have more than one mark. Believe me when I tell you we use the kitchen as any normal people would. There are mostly only 2 of us using the kitchen, we have no boisterous people or animals in the house, do not throw parties and was the kitchen as per instruction.
The kitchen is not fit for purpose and looks like we've had it installed for years rather than 10 months. Waiting for a response now from MKM branch direct

been popping in the local depo (Thame) on & off for months as I won't use them for big orders as way more expensive then anyone, even Wicks. Forgot my phone today and only needed a couple of lengths of wood, (less then £20) I have a cash account as I don't like credit accounts, They refused to let me have the timber and pay next time I'm in and did'nt offer a use of a phone to get payment over the phone. So now I will never use them again I will travel the 6 mile round trip to Grant & Stone I did the same with them once and was never a problem.

Peterhead store, £4.80 plus vat for 3by2 cls at 2.4m long daylight robbery! Asked for something off because I didn't have an account first time in 34 years I haven't been given something off by a big outfit, Aberdeen branch has been chasing me to supply the 200 bathrooms I change on a yearly bases they can poke it

Used MKM to buy some gravel because B&Q were out of stock. Impressed with the range of options. Delivery was scheduled for 7th April but I wanted the goods earlier so I could get the work done this weekend, Leeds branch were more than accommodating and delivered yesterday, the driver was also friendly and professional - great service!

I am in Milton Keynes and just started using are local store. Everything is brilliant. Communication is usually very good but delivery turns up when it turns up so it might come earlier but not later than you expect which isn’t a bad thing for me they can just leave it on the driveway, but for some people might be a problem.

We helped by Carrie who was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. She made our visit choices very easy. Highly recommended. Thank you

I had a problem as I had ordered the wrong item for my new fence so I phoned up Kirkcaldy MKM and informed the polite man on the end of the phone what had happened it was MY MIStAKE and could it be fixed he said give me a couple of minutes I'll phone you to which he did our driver can pick up the wood that I wanted to return and he would drop of the right rwood then next day for me fantastic I thought but when I got home that night they had managed to do it the same day what a fantastic I work force MKM have I will be using MKM again in the near future and will definitely be recommending the company as well a big THANK YOU

What fantastic service. I was served by a really helpful guy when I went into the branch. He showed me the products before I ordered them to make sure they were what I needed. There was a good range of products and very competitive pricing. The delivery service was gold standard- on time, efficient,polite and very helpful.

I want to thank Jasmine at the Wakefield Branch for the excellent work she did for us on planning our kitchen. We ordered the kitchen through Jasmine and what excellent service we received and not a thing missing. The kitchens at MkM are excellent. Thank you Jasmine

Whatever you do don’t buy a kitchen from MKM Yeovil, we had a problem with our worktop , the management are totally useless and didn’t do what they promised and to this day still haven’t . Avoid at all costs . How long does it take to do an email to keep a customer happy. Bring back Paul Costello.

Please be aware I was mis-sold WOODPECKER SCOTIA BRECON BARLEY OAK 2.4M flooring edge trimming by MKM Building Supplies, Chester. This product is made from MDF material and so not suitable for bathrooms. However despite my wife & I asking for Bathroom suitable products and the trims being colour matched to Bathroom flooring bought at the same time, the MKM representative denies this and MKM refuse to take back the product & provide a refund. MKM really need to train their staff better and take responsibility for their mistakes.
