We were especially pleased with the thorough customer service from Ronda and Lisa as we chose our flooring and granite countertops and navigated the many choices in products, measurements and installations. Duane and Brian stopped installing our flooring after they discovered a flaw. We appreciate their honesty and ethics even if it delayed our project by two weeks. Also Larry Henderson worked diligently to get new flooring and once it arrived, promptly scheduled his installers. Duane and Brian were the only Lexar sub contractors to completely clean up their work site. One final note, Lexar sub contractors following Duane and Brian complimented them on the quality of floor and counter top installation. We highly recommend Carpet One in Mt Vernon, WA

The whole process was seamless from start to finish. I live out on San Juan Island so the whole deal was worked out over the phone and email. I sent a measurement sketch, they sent an estimate and a picture of a sample that I had described that was perfect for my application. I agreed to both and in a very few days an installer showed up and performed the job in a very professional and timely manner. No fuss no muss. I am thrilled. I was in a crunch between tenants and needed this done ASAP and carpet one came through.

This was the fourth time I've bought flooring from a Carpet One store (the three previous occasions were in other cities) and every time it was a positive experience. But this went way beyond positive to pretty darn amazing. We walked in with an immediate snag in that we live on an island, and, we wanted three distinctly different types of flooring: carpet, tile and wood. The first two were easy to choose, the wood was a challenge. Our salesperson, Tanya, demonstrated vast knowledge as she walked us through the different types of wood flooring, including faux wood luxury vinyl, then extreme patience as we waffled between hardwood and vinyl and colors in each. Finally, installation time! Duane and Brian worked their rear-ends off yanking up the existing glued-down floor, sanded and prepped so that the base was even and the different flooring would transition smoothly from one surface to another. They, too, showed tremendous patience and knowledge as they ran into and fixed problem after problem created by the DIY flooring installed by a previous owner. I imagine the guys had some pretty choice words as they got deeper into the project, but we didn't hear a single one. And the new floors look gorgeous!

Best place to get carpet and counter tops, excellent quality. Sales staff (Kristin) was excellent at helping us pick out our carpet and counter top colors. They estimators and installers they sent were friendly professional and did an outstanding job, counter tops fit perfectly, carpet installation excellent . I would highly recommend to any one thinking of updating their carpet or counters to go to Carpet one.

Alissa's input in the design process was extremely helpful. She listened to our design plans and offered helpful ideas and suggestions. We went through several challenges dealing with the kitchen granite and Alissa was instrumental in getting exactly what we wanted. We are extremely happy with the results and will definitely work with Mount Vernon Carpet One and Alissa on future projects!

Dotty was great to work with and the installers were top notch. We are very satisfied with the installation. Dotty has proven to be a wealth of good advice. This was, by the way, our third project with the Mount Vernon store.

We have done business with Tanya at this store for many years. I find her very easy to work with. She goes the extra mile for our customers and her follow-up on the project is excellent. We have always gotten great service, a good product and good installers.

The living room carpet and bathroom vinyl were professionally installed on the day they were promised. Important to me is that both installers left no trace of their presence in my home. Up next? Another bathroom, the kitchen, stairs and hallway, and two bedrooms.

Oh, and there was a hiccup on my part and Carpet One sent an installer back to my house, at no charge, to craft some adjustments. That made me feel good. That is good business.

Conscientious + patient service at the store. Sales Representative Morgan Schmidt showed me several options and ultimately helped me decide the carpet that would work best with my other floors. Morgan measured the room and offered patient consultation regarding what would be the best choice. Happy to say the result is fresh, new and plush. Wonderful installers did a beautiful job and then took the time to vacuum the newly installed carpet prior to departing... makes me a happy customer.
