I was stunned to learn that I was not approved when I applied for an ETA. Why??? I had a British passport that expired 25 years ago and had opted not to renew as my partner and I prefer to go through the same immigration line so I can help him. My fault for not realizing I could not apply for the ETA. So with only weeks until the trip, I knew I needed help as I could not afford to make one wrong step with the limited time available. I learned that a company called U.K. Passports was highly rated and could guide me through every requirement. That was exactly what I needed and I did further research to see how they were rated - that came back ultra-positive.
I made my first contact and by the following morning I had a full description of how they could help me and what they do not do - they would not gather my documents, for example - totally understandable. I signed up and within hours was assigned my coordinator. Brittany was amazing and patient from day one. Throughout this saga, I would send numerous questions and all were answered promptly and patiently, often on a Sunday! From the information she provided, I knew exactly what all the steps were and what I needed to do…. although I still asked many many questions throughout.
In my first application decades ago, I did not need original documents, copies were acceptable, but that is not the case now. With Brittany’s guidance on the specifics about the documents I needed, I proceeded to order them from various government entities in the UK, Canada and US….. and then I waited.
Finally, I had everything and had already exchanged countless emails with Brittany. She filed the initial application after which the UK authorities contacted someone I had selected to verify my identity. Once that was done, I was instructed on how to send the documents and given all the specifics needed to do so using DHL.
I received the passport 6 weeks after the first contact with UK Passports, and just 14 days after all my documents were received at the UK Passport office. Brittany kept me informed at every step along the way…. I was guided and calmed by Brittany repeatedly and I cannot recommend this service more highly. The service is not inexpensive but in my experience, it was worth every single penny!!!!

If was able to get to the UK pasportbuilding while l was in the UK l would have liked to thank her personally. I have been utterly impressed from start to finish with the process of renewing my British Passport from abroad. Miguel is the name of the agent who helped me through the process, and I was quite frankly astounded by the quick, efficient and helpful responses to all my questions. I would even go so far as to say I felt cared for, not just another number and applicant. The whole format to renew and receive my passport whilst on the other side of the planet was excellent and straight forward and efficient. I am very grateful, and it makes me feel proud of my homeland.

We were skeptical about using this service at first, but our assigned assistant, Christa, reassured us and made sure we could transfer private documents safely. That was our initial concern. Christa kept us informed every step of the way and dealt with everything efficiently, kindly and thoughtfully. I received my new British passport this week so the whole process took about a month.
