This a scam company. The don't cancel subscriptions despite confirmation email saying so. Myiq is one company Cerebrumiq. Don't fall for the IQ test. It's a subscription trap. They will keep charging you. Now to post o. reddit, yelp,X and Facebook scam page. Hope this helps somebody.

I’m writing a bad review every single day until they sort this out they are quite simply scammers there’s no other word for it and yeah I see two or three people giving them three and four stars I don’t I don’t know what they’ve done to deserve three or four stars I think if I could I would give them 3° below Kelvin the temperature of space basically that sound minus and worthless they are I’ve told them this I’ve emailed that I will continue to write terrible reviews until it is sorted and that’s exactly what I’m doing

Wish I’d read these reviews before taking the online IQ test. Like many other reviewers I found out afterwards that this was a scam which signed you up to a subscription that was not made clear in when you take the online test. My bank got in touch to alert me and advised me to send an email to cancel the subscription. I’ve asked MyIQ to send confirmation that they have done this and to remove my details.

They deducted £29.99 from my account, apparently a monthly fee which wasn't ever stated.scam.
When I asked for a refund, they declined.

They are a SCAM. They charge you a recurring fee afterwards.

Terrible company😡After what I thought was a bit of fun and posted on my works wats app group they rob me £29.99 for something I didn’t sign up to very naughty 😡

I have not agreed for MyIQ to take money out of my bank account. Have had no response from MyIQ when last month i asked them to return the £29.99 only to find that today they have basically taken a further £29.99 out of my bank account today. I want my money put back into my bank asap.

Just a note of advice to all affected.
I had the same experiences using that website: split double ¢50 payments for the test,no subscription and billing of €29.99 ;
The beautiful part of this story was the absolutely top notch security guard over my funds by Revolut. The biiling was declined by Revolut and I was notified of the charge while advising me to either approve or block future charges. I blocked the MyIQ and noted that four attempts on a daily basis for the past 2 weeks to take payments of €29.99 have been blocked by Revolut. Brilliant stuff.
Unable to find any subscription to put an end to the recurring charges.
Terrifying experience.

This company employs dishonest business practise by hiding deep within terms and conditions the fact the by paying them £1 for an iq test result you are also subscribing to a continuing monthly membership at the rate of £29.99 per month. You only know this when this sum disappears from you bank account. A thoroughly dishonest outfit! Beware!

This company is using illegal practices in the uk here is the uk law : Contractual Requirement regarding Subscription services: Under consumer protection law, you must receive confirmation of your purchase in a durable medium (like email or letter) shortly after signing up.
They do not do this so you are legally entitled to a full refund, I emailed them and explained the law to them, initially they refused a refund, I explained I would be contacting my CC company with these facts and reporting them to Trading Standards. I received my refund very quickly after this, so if you live in uk do this, if in another country check the law in your country to see if the same applies. good luck

I signed up for the trial, paid the 0.50pm card check. Realised they had nothing I wanted or needed so I cancelled my subscription.

Months later I realized they'd been taking 9.99 a month for ages!

My attempts to communicate my issues and request for full refund were completely dismissed.

Then I posted a review on trust pilot giving them one star. They were in contact almost immediately apologizing and offering a full refund, which I received within 2 days.

Be very careful signing up to these things, they have complex policies that mostly leave you screwed! But sometimes perseverance pays off.

Their service is poor, customer service absolutely awful, but did accept my request after the bad review 🤷

You are conned unknowingly into a monthly subscription after taking an IQ test for a small fee. Be very careful and go straight to the original email to cancel the subscription.

Agreed to a £1.00 fee to take a test but was then hit with a recurring payment charge on my bank card. This is not clearly explained at the time of making the initial payment. Major scam alert‼️

Completed an online personality test taking just a few minutes for which I (cautiously) agreed to pay £1. The results were provided via a link at the top of an email. Nowhere on the original site did I agree to signing up to a contract with monthly payments. Later I saw two payments had been taken from my card for £29.99 in December and January. Dishonest operator where I see almost 100% of reviews are in agreement.

I agreed to £1 to be taken from my account but 2 x 37p were taken. A week later they took £29.99 without notice. Do not trust them. £29.99 for what??? Nothing!

This is a well reported scam as I have now found out. Revolut refuses to refund me. The scammers said they would refund me. But they didn’t. They do this on all their bad reviews and they never refund.

its a scam dont bother , they drag you in with a 50p sign up fee, then charge you £29.00 per month there after ,

Complete scam, I never subscribed tI only agreed to 50p payment to obtain the results of the Facebook Quiz. Once they have that you're subscribed.
Emailed may times for refund and cancel subscription. No Refund.

You pay £1 for a report which, if I remember correctly, was charged as 2 x 50p. What you don't know is that MyIQ has signed you up for a monthly subscription - what for, I don't know. So a few weeks later, £29.99 disappears from your bank account. I have blocked any further payments from my account and am now going to try to contact them for a refund. Something tells me I'm not going to be successful. Beware of the MyIQ scam!!
