A total scam. My “free” is test wasn’t. I paid 50p to unlock the results ( actually took two 50 p payments) & then 7 days later was charged £29.99 for my monthly subscription. In response to my query they cancelled my future subscription but told me I had signed up to this. No way do I remember seeing this in any terms. Contacted my bank , Nationwide., who said it was too late to cancel pending payment but will dispute any future withdrawals. They also knew this company and had many complaints! Do not use as they are complete scammers.

This was a scam. I signed upfor the £1 fee ( reduced from £6 ) for a simple IQ test. There was no mention of a monthly fee. I cancelled but I will be billed on February 6th. Why hasn't this operation been taken down by Google?

don't get involved with this scam. Did an IQ test, paid 50p to receive results. Then a month later they took £29.99 from my account, followed by four more amounts of the same amount before I saw it on my bank statement. It's very crafty because when you pay the 50p they have all your bank details. They say it's clearly written in their small print that you have to go into your account and cancel the subscription! I had no joy getting my money (£150) back from emailing the company who just reply with stupid evasive comments. The bank wouldn't refund me either because I had paid with visa debit card. There are thousands of reviews about this company but they are still operating and stealing people's money and getting away with it. Ignore all the raving 5* reviews they are also false. Avoid at all costs!!!!!

Son kept calling me stupid, saw this answered questions to get results had to pay 50 pence. Check Bank Acc for return, noticed 50 pence taken, few days later £29.99 taken also! Try to get it back, no chance. Fraud Team in Bank have ensured they cannot take any more money.
It is yet another Scam. If you don't notice it they continue to take your money until you involve your Banks Fraud Team.
Thank Goodness for them, as only they can stop these unscrupulous people from stealing from me and you!
Thank you to Ulster Bank for being so understanding, I felt a fool. As soon as 50 pence was requested should have known, they go in for small amounts then if you don't immediately notice go for more, and more.
Please please beware do not let them take your hard earned money causing you stress, anxiety, upset.
Tell your Bank Fraud Team immediately so they can get these Scammers!

This company is a total scam. I did the iq test, it was supposed to be free, then a few weeks later, took £29.99 from my account. I'm not happy. Do not trust MYIQ at all.

I did not give permission for a subscription of£29.99 to be taken from my account. This is a disgusting scam and anyone tempted to take their test should read all the poor reviews that have been posted and avoid it at all costs

This company have been taking £29.99 out of my account for months. Started off with two 50p transactions and then ramped up. They offer absolutely no help at all when you try and speak to them. I did not knowingly sign up
For any subscription so have reported as a scam to my bank.

As reported by other users tricked into a scam/fraudulent and unauthorised payment of £24.99 for a subscription I didnt want or know existed. I am trying to claim back via paypal and my bank BEWARE do not go near myIQ. Cancel the payment through your automatic payments on PayPal contact your bank who will either block your card as a last resort but will normally block any further payments and refund

Terrible website, they say you can get your iq for a £1, then take £29.99 from your account at a later date. I didnt subscribe to this, and they say on website that you have to log in and cancel your subscription.

I took the test just out of interest. At no point did I intend to subscribe. Imagine my shock when £24.99 was taken out of my account via PayPal! Rogue company, just a scam. Avoid like the plague!!

Did an IQ test for fun, and have now been charged £24.99 for a monthly subscriptions. I sdid NOT sign up for this. I have complained and they say they can't find my subscription although I have sent screen shots of the Paypal transaction. I realise now they are just playing me along and wasting my timer. They have no intention of giving a refund.

No stars at all. As like many other users experienced, I have had an unauthorised subscription which scammed £29.99 and I never accepted it. Absolutely disgusting service and I need someone do to something!! Now!! Especially A REFUND

I am yet another victim of the Myiq dot co dot uk subscription scam-adjacent sharp practice. I paid via my card a £1 "one-off" fee on January 22nd, 2026 to view the results of an online IQ test, but have just found I was automatically enrolled onto a hidden, recurring subscription and have been informed that I have a pending fee of £29-99/ month, the first tranche of what will be a monthly subscription if it is not cancelled immediately. The details of this hidden subscription were carefully concealed in the small print (I am in my 70s and have eyesight problems which made this particularly problematic) and like most victims, I clicked on SKIP during the payment process, without realising that this then enabled the company - the parent company of the British and American arms of myiq is Cerebrumiq dot com - to take monthly payments of £29-99 or a similar amount depending on the currency.
My first payment of £29-99 from my current account is pending I am a national newspaper journalist for the Daily Mail and Daily Telegraph, and a TV and radio broadcaster, and I intend to spread the details of this scam-adjacent practice by myiq as widely as I can, to prevent others being caught in this way. I am also seeking an immediate cancellation of the pending payment.
I did not knowingly consent to a monthly subscription but the terms are hidden, in tiny print, and seem to be intentionally deceptive. It appears that it is very difficult to cancel this subscription and I understand many victims continue to be charged, even after they've attempted to cancel. I will be detailing how this sharp practice works to my contacts and those in my various journalist, media and personal social media platforms.

Like other customers, I found the same experience where this platform lures you in for a small fee and before you know it, they're helping themselves to your funds via so-called subscription!!
I've been trying to get a refund on the charges after cancellation of the service only to be sent the repetitive email apologising and nothing is done.

This is scandalous and brings me to report them. How unprofessional.
Still pursuing them through my bank.

This is the frustrating reply since 6 January:

They said they charge £1 for the test but a week after they have charged £30 for a subscription that I was not even aware of it in the first place.

Complete scam. Cancelled subscription and still took money out of my account Which is not authorised so it's basically theft and they make but virtually impossible to contact them
