Try for a £1 - but then it’s £29.99 recurring every month! If you cancel before free trial is up they don’t allow you to log in for your results!

I was scammed on Facebook purchasing an individual IQ test from this company. I chose this above a multiple test option at 29.99. As with many others online I have been taken for a ride. I did the test and got the result, I would imagine generic. Instant response to my messages and initially I believed it would get resolved quickly. However of course I now suspect it was AI responses 😠

Based on my direct experience, myIQ operates in a way that is misleading and unfair to consumers.

I took what was presented as a £1/$1 IQ test, believing it to be a one-time charge. After completing the test, I was required to pay £1 to see the results. Shortly afterward, an additional £24.99 charge was taken from my account.

When I contacted the company to dispute this charge and request a refund, they ignored my emails. I later found a Reddit post citing their terms and conditions. However, I did not see any clear or prominent notice of this ongoing charge during the process.

In my experience, the way pricing and subscriptions are disclosed is not transparent and appears designed to catch users off guard. I would strongly advise others to avoid this site unless they are prepared to be charged more than the advertised £1 and have carefully reviewed all terms beforehand.

This is a clever disguise to get you to subscribe to an account. Be very careful. Suggest you stay clear completely.

After paying 50p to take one of their online tests, to my surprise they then debited £29.99 from my bank account without my knowledge or consent. Looking at other reviews, apparently it's in the small print but for the life of me I cannot see it yet.

After paying the $1 to do the IQ test, I was subsequently billed with a yearly subscription of $47 which I had declined earlier, and also received a charge after cancelling the subscription on their website. Complete scam.

MyIQ.co.uk Customer service agent replied to my negative review providing me with my reference number and a promise for a swift refund. I gave them my reference number provided by them BUT it has been 3 days and I did not get the refund.well, they really enjoy messing around with their customers. AVOID MyIQ.com or MyIQ.co.uk they same fraudulent company.

Dishonest company you need to block pay,emts as it’s a scam

Expected a one time only test for £1 and got surprised by a £29.99 transaction on my account due to a subscription. Scam.

I was offered the results of my IQ test for a nominal 50 pence, which I didn't think too much about, and paid through PayPal.

However, then out of the blue - I received an email from PayPal telling me I had "authorised a payment to MyIQ for £29.99"!

I am absolutely aghast! This is so terribly underhanded and borders on dishonesty.

Do not get tempted into taking your IQ test through this company - there are many others out there who do not charge a penny for it and will not automatically sign you up for a monthly subscription either!

Subscription issue resolved to our satisfaction and received a full refund for all payments. We appreciated the prompt engagement and action from the MyIQ.com Account management support. To be fair it should not have happened in the first place. Read the very small print so you are aware of what you are getting yourself into.

They charge 2 x50p for IQ test and you don’t realise that you have signed up to £29.99 per month. Please stay away from MYIQ. They are scammers and frauds

If I could put 0 stars I would. I was charged 2 x 50p for the IQ test and then £29.99 a month until I spotted it 4 months later!! I was tricked into signing up to a subscription for I don’t know what. I have now blocked future payments from my bank and received a confirmation from the company that they have cancelled my subscription. I feel very foolish and £120 worse off

A scam. Siged up for £1 and £29.99 taken. I have cancelled my credit card to prevent future debits.
No response from customer services.

Complete Scam! Read the prior reviews. I won't waste my time trying to elaborate.

You are led to believe £1 is all you need to get your IQ score until £29.99 comes out of your account. This is because you are agreeing to a contract. SCAM-SCAM SCAM. What a good, decent,honest company NOT.
