DO NOT, DO NOT take the test, it is a complete scan and you will get automatically billed for £29.99 every month !! I have cancelled my subscription WHICH I NEVER SET UP IN THE FIRST PLACE !!! And they will not refund me £29.99 they illegally took from me.

1star as couldn’t give 0. What an absolute scam! They have stolen my Money. Even after over 50 emails I am still no further to getting a refund. Do NOT use this company

I was signed up for a monthly subscription of £29.99.
This was not made clear and was not what I would have agreed to.
This is a reported scam.
I have reported it to Paypal and my bank.
I would like a full refund.

Did online IQ test around Christmas 2025 and paid the £1 asked for to get results. They took 50p out twice four days apart via PayPal. Three days later they took £24.99 out my account. I requested this back via PayPal as I had not signed up for this. PayPal have ‘reviewed’ this transaction and found in favour of IQ. I am now waiting to hear if PayPal are going to pay this IQ scammer £24.99 each month from my account.

Charged for subscriptions without my consent

I was charged £29.99 today for a subscription I did not realize I had signed up for. I only intended to pay the small trial fee for an IQ test and was not clearly informed of a recurring high-cost monthly charge.

Under your own Refund Policy, Section 7.1 (Trial Period Refunds), I am a first-time user and am entitled to a full refund within 30 days of the charge. I have already sent a formal email to the company requesting this.

I am requesting that MyIQ honors their written policy and processes my refund of £29.99 immediately. I will update this review once the refund is received.

100% scammers...do not be duped into paying a subscription. Unwittingly signed up as its hidden. Avoid at all cost!!!

Absolute scum of a business. Stealthily takes 50p without as much as a click of a button. Bank recognised and confirmed fraud, refunded it back. Merchant then decide to charge 29.99 which my bank should have blocked but somehow failed to due to the mechanism this merchant uses to charge. It’s a subscription transaction dressed up as a point of sale but will not show in your Apple subscriptions or Apple wallet transaction. Apple have also been issued the crime numbers and case details to block this merchant off their platform.

The merchant has been reported by my bank to the police and local law enforcement along with the financial ombudsman.

Ich habe zwar die 30 Fragen in Instagram durchlaufen, aber kein ABO oder einer Abbuchung zugestimmt. Die angebliche Firma läuft wohl unter Cerebrum? oder MyIQ? Ich habe bereits über 20 E-Mails gesendet, aber es kommen nur KI gesteuerte Rückmeldungen, in der ich die letzten vier Ziffern meiner Bankverbindung mitteilen soll. Angeblich wurde eine Rückerstattung genehmigt, die ich aber nie erhalten habe. Mir wurden 2 x 0,50 € und 4 x 29,99 € per Paypal abgebucht.

An absolute scam! They trick you into thinking you can do a free IQ test through instagram then they start taking £29.99 PER MONTH out of your bank without permission. I've been arguing with customer services and they are trying to avoid giving me a refund. USE YOUR CONSUMER RIGHTS AND CONTRACT CASE LAW TO FIGHT THEM FOR THIS. REPORT THEM ON SOCIAL MEDIA. REPORT THEM TO YOUR BANK!!!

This is a scam. They charge you 50p x2 to get your results without telling you've subscribed. Then a week later they take £29.99 out. Working with the fraud team with my bank to resolve this.

BEWARE It is a scam, keep well away as they will charge you £29.99 claiming that you signed up.

Do not charge customers a subscription for anything which has not been specifically requested. On 12th November 2025 I took the test. I then was charged 2x50p but never received the results of the test. Instead, I have twice been charged £29.99 since then and have not so far been able to cancel this hidden subscription charge. Numerous times I have tried to do so on the cancellation page. Each time I have been told a code has been sent to my email address, but the code never arrives.

Unauthorised subscription that I dint know about it . Realised after 10 months.
Scam

Awful company. I foolishly completed the online IQ test and paid £1.00 for the certificate which I didn't mind but then having looked at my bank account noticed a withdrawal for £25.98. I emailed the company and requested a refund, but 28 emails later still not received one. Stay away from this company at all cost. It's a complete scam

Beware! When you authorise a £1.00 payment to view your IQ test results, you are also authorising a subscription of £29.99/month.
Avoid at all costs; it is basically a scam to get £30 from you!

Same as most people I stupidly paid £1 for iq test results and didn’t agree to a subscription and have since been charged £29.99. Emailed them numerous times and just keep getting the same responses from a bot. Avoid at all costs they’re a SCAM!

I took their online IQ test paying a one-off fee to access my results.

However a subscription sign up is hidden in their terms and conditions letting them charge $29.99 every month. Trying to contact them to cancel this subscription only lead to 20 emails back and forth with an obvious AI customer service bot.

I’ve reported this to my bank and am currently in discussions to get a charge back. I strongly caution others to avoid this company at all costs.

Some weeks ago I completed an IQ quiz which popped up on my phone. I may have agreed to pay £1 but that was it. I finally checked my credit card statements yesterday and was horrified to see that a charge of £29.99 from Myiq.com.UK was taken in November. I immediately checked my pending statement on line to see another payment was listed in December. I phoned my credit card company who confirmed this happens all the time as people don't realise they are signing up to this regular subscription. It is not clear at all. Fortunately this payment is now being blocked in future and I will be requesting a refund from Myiq.com.UK today but am not sure how they will respond to that.
I therefore urge anyone please DO NOT GET CAUGHT OUT LIKE ME! Thoroughly research the company before you do anything else.
