Sharan has been my go-to person over the years!
For my nanny search this time, she quickly understood our family’s requirements and presented a select set of good quality candidates. Within a few weeks, we had met and found our wonderful nanny. Sharan is calm, easily accessible, has a wealth of experience and makes the process as smooth as possible all the way to the contract. She is supportive even beyond the placement should such a situation arise. I would not hesitate to recommend Sharan and Nanny Smart to anybody.

I am a nanny that came across this agency as I was made redundant September 2023 and wanted to work in London full- time to broaden my career as I am originally from Wiltshire. Sharan has been amazing with helping me to get into my new position which I am loving! She is very friendly, welcoming and positive. I had a very bad experience with this agency. Actually, the first bad experience with agencies in London after working as a professional nanny the last 10 years.
The lady I was talking to (I didn't remember her name but I am assuming it was Sharan?) implied that I wasn't professional, committed and full on nanny as three years ago I set up my own bilingual nanny agency as a side hustle along with my nanny job.
She stalked me on social media and she found out posts and how active I was. She insisted on me being active so that means I still work for my agency. I don't due to lack of time at this time but even if I did I couldn't understand what was the problem and why she couldn't tell that to a potential family.
Also, she accused me of attending the international nanny conference NannyCON as a speaker on a panel. It's true and I am very proud of it but what she didn't understand is that except for nanny agency owner I was there as a NANNY too and I was there to attend the whole conference so professional development.

I am so proud of being a nanny and I am also very proud for all my accomplishments through the years so I don't understand why the things I am proud of would have put a potential family off.

This agency lost a very good nanny on their papers.

I highly do not recommend it as they don't support the nannies.

We have now worked with Sharan on two different occasions and both times she has come up trumps! She has such a professional and calm manner, and it's very reassuring as a parent to be able to discuss your needs and any questions with Sharan who can always be relied upon to give an honest and practical point of view, based on her years of experience. On both occasions we've worked with her we've had strong candidates to choose from and ultimately have found wonderful nannies for our children. She's great on the follow up too, checking in to see all is well. We really appreciate the care Sharan's put in to finding the very best nannies for us and would strongly recommend.

I tried a range of sources to recruit a part time nanny, including direct routes and other agencies, but only Nanny Smart managed to find us a good quality candidate that fitted our needs. I owe this review from several years back when I was at stage of requalifications after many years spent as professional nanny and governess. I was happy to do one last childcare work when I met Sharan Gill. She seemed to be pleasant at first but eventually turned out to be rather undiplomatic because I had some better and more immediate offers elsewhere.

Of course I didn't reveal it to her but made her wait a little in case things didn't quite work out in terms of having a fair contract as some families are not exactly straightforward when making offers even through agency.

Sharan Gill had absolutely no grace and showed her true colours because she assumed I was coming back to her as my last resort of hope. I was actually very pleased I did not use her services, eventually. I have my publishing company now and I am so relieved I don't have to face and deal with people like Sharan Gill anymore. Avoid the same disappointment and look elsewhere. Profit does not come before people.

I really had a great experience with nanny Smart. Sharan found me an amazing family that I get a long with pretty well and also when I had spare time on thursdays and fridays, she found me a part time job nearby.
