We are a family run independent training provider based in Bolton in the Northwest. We have over 43 years experience of working within the Police, Prison and Private Security Industries and have delivered learning programmes for thousands of learners. We provide learning programmes from Level 1 to Level 7 in various sectors including First Aid, Security, Licensing, Hospitality, Functional Skills and Management. We specialise in the Security sectors with Security Officer, Door Supervisor, Close protection, CCTV, CViT, Handcuffs and Stewarding qualifications being offered from our Approved and Accredited training centre in Bolton. We also now deliver the brand new Security Refreshers as from the 1st October 2024. We are friendly and helpful, and we offer free advice and guidance where required. We also have tutors, assessors and Internal Quality Assurers on site to ensure that quality and standards are raised and maintained.

I would highly recommend! Julie is a great tutor, really friendly and patient, her knowledge is great and she explains things really well.

Would definitely recommend completing both security and first aid courses here, Staff are wonderful and fair. Incredibly helpful and kind. Learnt so much and all in great timing. Will definitely be coming back.

Phil and Julie Booth of Nationwide Academy are not only true professionals in both areas of Door Supervision and Close Protection, but they make you feel relaxed from the start , and make you feel at ease throughout the whole course i would highly recommend them, and there facilities in bolton are second to none .

Well I’d just like to start off to say that Julie & Phill were both amazing! The quality of training that was provided was beyond great. Kept at an easy pace for everyone to learn and grasp the knowledge given. Again, Julie is really good at her job and always goes above and beyond for her trainees which is fantastic! Hats off to Nationwide academy! I passed and got my certificate straight away!!

Doing my SIA licence this week, it’s been a great experience! Julie has been amazing, very professional.. with lots of experience and knowledge! Isn’t always strict, good banter too to put people’s mind at ease throughout!

Best course ive attended!
Julie made this course easy and took the pressure off the process by going throigh all needed information in a way that stuck with you.
This was a great choice to do my top up and i will from now on only be using nationwide academy!
