I am a university lecturer and former teacher doing an A level for interest (long story!). I am very impressed with the course materials. They are well-planned, very engaging and they fully support the needs of a distance learner who's working online in isolation from any classmates or in-person tutor contact.

Excellent service on the telephone; very professional and competent operator on the phone. I got the course I wanted. All I have to do is to finish it.

The learning contents itself is good, but navigating the site i find hard. From signing in to actually getting to the content is all over the place. It should be a case that you click on the course you are doing and simply click resume, then it takes you straight back to where you left off. Currently I sign in, tgen click on a learn link, tgen another learn link, then a courses icon, then the course, then I have to find where I left off before. It's ridiculous.

Great and logical website. Great education system. Excellent teachers who are compassionate and understanding. Teachers who get back to the student with support very quickly.

I tried to submit an assignment and found that my details had been removed so I could not access anything. After reporting this by email I was told that my registration had expired after a year and I needed to pay more to continue .

If this is the rule thats OK, but I wasn't aware of it when I enrolled, and would have appreciated an email informing me I was no longer registered. I did mention this when agreeing to pay, and an apology would have been nice, but was not forthcoming.

Easy to use platform making navigating through the course, submitting coursework and communicating with other students and tutor a simple process. Tutor is lovely, very helpful and quick to respond to questions and assignments. Coursework well set out and interesting. Happy to have gone with NEC.

The website always glitches, u have to use a verification code every single time u want to login to check work. The verification code barely ever gets sent to u, so u end up stuck not being able to access work.

The onboarding process was smooth , from call to getting started. The resources are also very robust ensuring you actually learn. I can’t recommend enough!

Gold Stars all round. First class, quick service and splendid in-depth commentaries on required reading. An excellent resume and explanation of the A Level in Literature qualification and exam. Thoroughly recommend this provider.

it was ok and navigation was easy. there was a little tasks and learning but not enough to give a proper tutoring/classroom vibe. mostly it was just self learning from resources. the target audience i felt was mostly people with special circumstances and not kids in school like me trying to learn more online. i get that since it isnt that common but this just made it a slight setback for me.

Faster than traditional college.

NEC is a great online learning experience. I’m studying Classical Civilisation and the support materials and guidance are excellent. The team respond quickly with clear, helpful information. Assignments are thoroughly marked and commented on by tutors. Admin is very efficient as I enrolled for the second part of my course.

It isn't easy to make your way around the site. It gets easier as you learn its quirks, but it can be consfusing.
